When making or receiving call after a few minutes I can hear the person on the other line but they can't hear me. This is very frustrating. I always thought that Iphones are good but am very dissapointed in this one. My husband has a motorola and has no problems on his. We are both on cricket so I don't feel its a network problem. i have the latest updates on my phone. Basically all my expensive phone is good for is texting and internet. was wondering if anyone else is having these problems with the iphone 7 plus?  Thanks!

@mschadd Thank you for visiting and posting on the Cricket Community Forum! We would suggest looking at the iPhone's software to make sure the device is updated. If you are still with in the one year warranty you can take it to Apple and see if maybe the device is having speaker issues. If it does its covered under Apples one year warranty and they will ix this issue or replace the device for you.

I have the latest software update 12.1 and the phone is not under warranty. I still may take it to an apple store when I get near one and ask them about it. Thanks!

@mschadd You're welcome!

I am having the same issues. My son has an iPhone 7 Plus and I have the iPhone 7. Both phones are replacement phones and they both started acting up and having call issues at the same time.

@mschadd The latest software version is actually 12.4.

@Bbrown17477, please make sure the phones' software is up to date. The latest software version is 12.4. If you're still experiencing issues, please reach out to our Support Team on Twitter @cricketsupport or on Facebook at m.me/cricketwireless for assistance.

I dropped my phone. I had insurance. I placed a claim and got a replacement phone via Asurion. After 5-6 calls with complaint that the person on the other end could not hear me I called Asurion. I was bounded around for 2. 1/2 hours between Asurion, Apple, and Cricket I finally got a warranty claim. But I have to say this is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. The reps are good. The process sucks. I am going to drop the insurance and look into AppleCare. It’s not worth the aggravation to use Cricket Insurance/Asurion. So frustrating! And apparentLy the replacement phone is very suspect according to Apple. There is a third party battery installed in it and some other strange diagnostic results. Apple would not touch it.
