Hello,

I’ve been reading through these forums and noticed a lot of people having issues with Cricket. I’m thinking about getting my iPhones unlocked and switching over…

  1. How are iPhone 12’s working with 5G?
  2. Anyone receiving delayed texts?
  3. Do calls get dropped a lot?

Any info is appreciated! I am on T-Mobile now and would hate to regret my decision of unlocking my phones and hating the service just to save $100 on a monthly payment.

thank you all

Hey there. I am currently using an iPhone 12 Pro Max on Cricket, and the service has been great in my area. I don’t have delayed texts, and I don’t usually get calls dropped. I do get access to 5G but at the moment it seems just as good for 4G LTE in most areas.

Honestly, I would recommend you to try it out, or atleast ask people in your area that use AT&T or Cricket as they can provide you better feedback in the areas you frequent. Worse case, it is prepaid and you can just switch back the following month or something. Good luck with your decision!
