Unlock Policy is Ridiculous!

Got a G7 when we signed for Cricket back in September 2019. Activated the phone at the time and made sure to use it occasionally (a day here and there over the course of several months) between then and June 2020 (typically we use the SIM in an iPhone, so I popped it out, made some calls, etc.). Contacted Cricket yesterday to have the G7 unlocked and they said it's only been active for 5 days and was not eligible.VidMateGiven that I activated the phone nearly 9 months ago, used the phone over the course of those 9 months (admittedly only occasionally) and paid my Cricket bill over those 9 months, I feel strongly that Cricket should unlock my phone.word counterThere's nothing in their policy that states I must use the phone daily for 6 months - but apparently that's what they mean by "active" in the following - "The device you want to unlock has been active for at least six months of paid service on that device." Voicemail Greeting always going to Default

I always had a custom Greeting for my voicemail.  Recently my iPhone 8 was updated with ios 13.5.1.  Seems that after that update voicemail is always going to default greeting.  I followed Cricket's instructions of resetting PIN and then recording a custom greeting.  Voicemail still goes to default greeting.  Tried to change message on iPhone itself, changed selection from Default to Custom.  Recorded a custom greeting.  But voicemail still goes to default message.  Web search says Apple problem, other say carrier problem.  Any one have a solution??

Does the iPhone 11 technically support HDR and considered an HDR display?

I just got the the 11 Pro Max and my brother just received the 11 and upon further inspection on both the Netflix and YouTube app I see an option for HDR on the 11 and I remember seeing that option on the XR as well. I’m not too familiar of what class of display passes HDR certification on the low end but if it’s not exactly “HDR” (most reviewer say it’s not HDR) can’t that be called for false advertisement? Looking at both displays watching the same video it’s actually hard seeing a overall sharpness and color differences on both displays at a normal viewing distance. In my opinion Apple did an amazing job on the 1routerlogin1’s display even at a sub-1080p resolution and an LCD display and I wouldn’t mind watching content and using it on a daily. The only time I can see a significant difference is in black levels. Obviously because the use of LCD on the 11, you can’t really get those inky black levels of OLED. What I’m trying to understand is if HDR cares less of resolution than overa

Connecting gamepad to iPhone 8

I have iPhone 8 and Speedlink TORID gamepad, which is connected wirelessly to pc with little 2.4Ghz usb adapter. My question is could I somehow connect that garouterloginmepad with iPhone. My Unlocked Phone Is Now Locked

I have been a loyal customer for years now, bought my iPhone new And brought it to Cricket and pirchased a plan and placed SIM card in, ROUGHLY 2 years now I’ve changed carriers/ ported my number over and NOW MY PHONE IS LOCKED ?? With corona virus here and spreading I need my phone unlocked . So irritated right now any ideas ?

Can anyone recommend a parental control app for iphone?

My 14 year old son was previously on Android and I used a pretty decent app called My Mobile Matchdog. Options for iPhone seem pretty lousy by comparison. Most important features to me are call and text monitoring, web filtering, app blocking, and location tracking. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Parental control feature on iphone 6s

Wanted to know if there is a parental control feature on the iPhone 6s that can pause service from another phone during punishment it really should be threw the service provider just as the Eero app program works for my internet provider to pause any or all electronics attached to the service with just a click of a button. Parents like to protect there children and have children with behavior problem that don't like to listen or follow directions. This is a much needed feature that you need to offer with your family plans because most family plans have children...

I ordered and was charged for an iPhone SE TWO WEEKS AGO. Even though the phone has been paid for no-one knows where it is and I keep on getting the run around from customer support. This is very frustrating! A refund would be great!!!!!

Just made the Samsung to Apple switch!

I'm posting this on my old trusty Samsung Galaxy S7 Active which has been 192.168.1.254  slowing down and draining battery significantly more each day. The last iPhone I had was a 4S, and I figured I'd see what the hype is about so I ordered10.0.0.0.1 an iPhone 11 today. I think I'll probably be pleased when it shows up later this week!

I am currently a cricket customer and I am using an android phone.  My wife has just bought a new unlocked iphone for me.  So, I am thinking to take the sim card out of my phone and put it in the iphone.  Will this work?

Mobile data on iPhone 8

My iPhone 8 is having problems with mobile data. Mainly with iMessage, most of the time my messages will take minutes to send, if at all. I have tried everything: turning on and off cellular data and disabling and enabling LTE. I tried turning iMessage on and off. Resetting network settings. Restarting the phone. Sim sent a text message?

I have an iPhone 7. Everytime I either restart my phone or it dies it comes up to my lock screen. My phone goes dark and pops up “your sim sent a text message”. Why is it doing this and how do I fix it? I researched it and it says to update your carrier settings but I don’t have a carrier update available. I’m running iOS 13.4 and don’t have a software update available either. Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Unable to submit port-in order says promotion already used per household

I had cancelled confirmed order for porting 5 number to Cricket due wanting to change type of phone, but now when i resubmit the order i unable to get the Promotion advertised on the website. I am getting error when i place the order. I have talked to 10 different customer agent and they are not able to figure it out.Error message I am getting: Only two phones (6s, 6s plus, 7 and 7 plus) is allowed per household.

No service

When I put in my sin card to my iPhone 6s I got from my friend that bought it unlocked online and then used it with their carrier (Metro PC's T-Mobile) everything I put it in it just says no service!!?? How do I fix this, does that mean the iphone is locked?
