Today I changed my $55 core plan to $60 plan which includes 5G and internet speeds higher than 8mbps.for some reason I can’t make 5G work on my phone. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max which I bought unlocked at apple.I know my plan has changed because i can see higher internet speeds and hotspot enabled. But I can’t choose 5G as preferred network. All the options I have is 4G and LTE. I’ve followed directions from different agents at the tech support with no success. I reset network settings several times, I updated iOS to the latest version, they made some changes on the line as well, I gave them IMEI number, and also installed my SIM card in another iPhone 12 Pro Max unlocked but Still no 5G, only LTEany help would be appreciated
I’ve tried everything. All the steps they script on 611 customer service. Visited my store several times. No one can figure out why i can make calls but anyone who calls me gets a busy signal. It’s beyond maddening. I have a two-year old unlocked second gen iPhone SE I bought from Consumer Cellular. Never had a problem until I switched to Cricket. It worked fine for a week and then the busy signals started. I can send and receive texts and iMessages. I can make calls fine. All my settings have been checked and rechecked. I have the latest IOS, 16.1 even. Network settings reset multiple times. Phone rebooted, etc. etc. etc. Any suggestions? This is crazy, Cricket.
My phone’s been stuck on SOS I tried restarting phone, taking Sim card out, called a representative. If she didn’t help out, she told me she was gonna call me back and never did as well. Why pay all this money monthly for her to have horrible service in for situations like this, this is a reoccurring issue.
So I saw someone else on here had the same problem I have been having. Before the update horrible spotty service. We did the update and more often than not, the phone says SOS only across the top. It has nothing to do with an outage in my area because I have two other lines on this account and no issues with their service. This is indeed frustrating for what we pay to have no service!!!
Is removing the SIM card from my current phone and inserting it to the iPhone I'm switching to good or bad? If it’s bad, I have to upgrade my sim. The sim card my phone uses is nano sim card so I could fit on the sim card tray of the iPhone. Is It Good or Bad? Reply To Let Me Know
Cricket wireless has lock my unlocked iPhone 11 that I bought from Best Buy and it’s a unlocked device that I can put any service providers sim in. I was told the day that I left them that my phone will be unlocked that day nothing. Then I called and was told it would be unlocked that day nothing then I was told it will take 5 business days to unlock my phone. Nothing still lock after 5 business days then was told it would be 2-3 more business days to unlock. And still nothing I have repeatedly been lied to one that really got me was cricket didn’t lock my phone it was metro pcs how I left over 4 years ago so call them talk to metro and they laugh at the idea they they would lock a phone 4 years down the line after I left. That if it was them how was I able to put my cricket sim in and use my phone for 4 years. But it Conveniently lock when I leave cricket for T-Mobile and I still don’t have access to my phone I’m stuck using a old Samsung i spent 1300 on this phone so I guess I’m out
Yesterday, my iPhone 11 that I purchased unlocked from the applestore in 2019 and have been using with Cricket since I purchased it randomly locked and I come to find out that it was reported Lost or Stolen. After spending hours between Apple and Cricket, I ended the night with no progress as the two companies just kept blaming eachother. The only thing I know is that my IMEI is blocked despite me never reporting the phone as stolen or lost and I have been the only owner of the iphone. Please help me fix this.
I have sent several emails and can't believe no one has been courteous enough to contact me. This includes having sent emails to firstname.lastname@example.orgJohn D. the CEO of Cricket Wireless and the VP of Customer Satisfaction. I guess I should contact JD Powers and complain to them. Right now I am unemployed (for several months) and can't even afford to replace my phone using the payment plan option and no upgrade deal is offered for iPhone 13 (which I still can't afford). My iPhone 6S is on its last leg, I am wondering if Cricket could please help me by replacing my current iPhone 6S with a new iPhone 13 Pro free of charge under customer loyalty and retention? T-Mobile sent me an offer for an iPhone 13 Pro for $50 if transfer my services to their plan which would be less expensive. Verizon is offering iPhone 13’s as well.
I saw a similar issue but the only comment was Cricket would reach out to that customer. On the phone app, I go to voicemail and it only shows “call voicemail”. when called it would say this person does not have voicemail setup. The Cricket setup instructions say to hold 1 from the keypad and it doesn’t work either.
