Iphone 12 mini, used an E-sim after traveling and now i cant switch back to my primary data line

After purchasing an E-sim while traveling in Italy. I was no longer able to switch back to my primary data line. It says my phone number was transferred to my iPhone and is no longer useable. I have no data and I have already tried to reset the phone and removed/reinstalled the SIM card

Yes, I have deleted the profile from my phone.

This is the message I now receive on my cellular data settings tab. My current phone is labeled iPhone (109).

Is it possible my number was transferred to the E-sim and when I deleted it, it also deleted my number?
