Good afternoon! Next week, October 13, 2020, Apple is having an event pertaining to the Iphone 12. A couple days after the event next Tuesday, Apple is also supposed to release at least two out of four new models of the iphone 12 for pre order.

Will cricket be allowing any of the four new iphones to have access to its 5G network?

How soon will cricket post about this information?

Hello @lilman_c! Welcome to our Cricket Community Forum and thank you for your post. We do not have any information to provide on these devices as Apple as yet to release any information at this time. Once the information is released by Apple, we will know more and can provide details then.

Thank you James_Cricket for your response. Please expect to hear from me shortly after Apple releases these details next week on October 13th.

Hello again, James_Cricket. Apple introduced the iphone 12 pro a couple hours ago. Apple also said that it will be available for pre-order this Friday, October 16th, and stated that it is 5G compatible. Will cricket allow the new iphone 12 Pro to use its 5G network? People need to know before Pre-Order this Friday.

Enough time has passed for me to clarify the same question, but already with you

Everything is working?

James already gave you the answer. No info is available yet. It happened the same with the Samsung Galaxy S20, at first it was not available/compatible with Cricket 5G or network. Later Cricket released it.

You are free to pre-order it, but please expect to have issues with service or 5G if there's no info yet from Cricket about the iPhone 12. You can wait a bit to hear what Cricket says about this model and 5G. They will not be out of stock by then. But if everything is just because you want to be one of the first ones to get it, you can preorder it and keep it till Cricket allows unlocked phones to be 5G compatible.

Keep checking that website. Maybe they'll release some info soon.

Thanks for posting this link.  It shows Apple iPhone 12 and 12 Pro are compatible with the Cricket 5G network!
