Iphone Upgrade to XS Max from Iphone 6S Plus

From what I understand, the new Iphone XS Max does not have a SIM card.  How will this work with upgrading my phone from an Iphone 6S Plus which does have a SIM card?

Hello @webbej! Welcome to our Cricket Community Forum and thank you for your post. The iPhone XS Max does have a SIM card tray. Therefore, you can move your SIM card from your iPhone 6S Plus to the iPhone XS Max.
