I’m not the first person with this issue if you look through the community forum. I was double charged for a phone I purchased through cricketwireless.com and when I tried to get one of the charges reversed by calling Cricket “Customer Support”, the person I spoke with told me to dispute the charge with my bank… fast-forward a week after I disputed one of the charges and my phone was reported “lost or stolen” by Cricket Wireless for a charge back. I wasn’t given a phone call, text, or issued a warning of any kind that this had happened, my phone just stopped working. I called Cricket Wireless “Customer Support” five times the same day my phone stopped receiving calls (calls to cricket support go through just fine) to get the issue sorted out and each time I got a different person with a different suggestion of how to resolve my issue. As of 1 hour ago, both voice and data have stopped working and received a SIM not provisioned error mm#2. Also when i try to call in for some reason my account PIN is no longer working and it does not let me go past the phone menu for support. I had my pin written down and i am sure it is correct so something must be going on with my account in order for it not work at all , please help. Every time i try the customer line i get disconnected as well even when calling from another phone.
I've been on and off the phone with Cricket Wireless Customer Service today and I'm extremely frustrated. After speaking with five different agents/supervisors collectively for over two and half hours, they talked over me and wouldn't let me speak, then ultimately hung up on me (very professional). I'm trying to switch to Verizon after experiencing months and months of delayed texts and performance issues. Unfortunately Cricket is claiming that the iPhone XR that I purchased from them outright (yes, my own iPhone that I paid for and did NOT finance) cannot be unlocked until after six months from activation date. They claim it states that in the "contract". What??? Contract??? I originally signed up with Cricket because I didn't want a contract! So Cricket Wireless is holding my iPhone XR (my asset that I own) hostage. It's absolutely unbelievable and speaks volumes about a poorly run organization. DO NOT GO WITH CRICKET WIRELESS!!!
I paid my bill in full before seeing and applying for the ACP benefits/program, I was accepted for 30$ of assistance, I just paid my 80$ bill, how do I cancel the payment without going through my bank branch?....I'd rather have the money and not a credit on my account,at the moment times are rough lol
Why is it that when I use the online system to pay my bill earlier than the due date, I see that my amount due has been doubled? It should say that I only owe $58.00, but it shows $116.00 instead. I have never missed a payment. I don't understand this. Please explain.
Hello all! I am a new customer who switched to Cricket on 7/8/22. I brought 2 lines and ordered the plan/phones all online because they didn’t have the phones we wanted in stock in the store and they recommended us to it all online. After reviewing my monthly statements- I see I was billed twice on 7/8/22 and again on 7/27/22- all three the same charged amount. When I reached out to customer service they see where I was billed 3 times, but they claim all on the same date. They are also saying they are unable to process a refund of the $421.96 that I was overcharged. They offered a credit to my account, but my account is showing a credit of 166.14 already- no idea where that came from. These billing practices and lack of appropriate resolution has me afraid I have made a terrible choice in choosing a carrier! Anyone have any advice on a better way to get this resolved. They told me to contact my bank- my bank did not overcharge me- Cricket did. I fail to see how this is good business pr
I honestly feel that this policy they came up with a few years ago is ridiculous. If you make a brige pay and fail to pay the rest by date, you pay the whole thing, including what they already got from. So if you paid 70 and forget now you pay 133 which means you paid 200 dollars, plus that reactivation fee. Why is this even necessary to do? I have been a cricket customer since 2004 and this is the worst they have come up with. They need to do away with this.
I've been with Cricket for more than 5 years I set a bridge pay multiple times they do not explain the policy of bridge pay they just take your money and let you figure out your own if you missed the due date that bridge pay is set up the money that you use for bridge pay it's not apply to your account you have to pay the full balance in order to get your service turned back on that is not what they explain to you when you set it up I spent more money on Bridge pay and still lose my money for bridge pay in order to double down to pay the service that is not acceptable you do not take people money like that and you don't explain it to your customers you treat your customers so poorly your services are poor you have buffering low speed service Dead Zone your phones don't work half the time I received a upgrade and it did not work it was nothing I could do about the phone I spend more money for nothing you have a app that's called added up which is the third party it applied to my account
Alright, so I go to pay my phone bill the other night. The same way I have done for the last 6 months. I selected PayPal. Once logged in my PayPal balance was the selected payment method. The cricket website was having a very hard time moving past that step. I waited a couple of hours, tried again. The website was being weird still. I check my PayPal account and there’s my payment authorization in progress for the payment. I didn’t think anything of it and said to myself that the next day it will go through and there’s no way my phone will be suspended. That was August 31st. Pupal says it’s the merchant and not them, but there is no way for me to cancel or anything else until at least 30 days have passed. I called cricket because there is absolutely no way I could be without a phone, but they told me that the problem was with paypal they aren’t showing any indication of payment and that they aren’t responsible for making authorizations. My phone is turned back on thanks to bridge pay.
What happened to the billing feature? I need to be able to print out a billing/activity page that shows at a minimum:Cricket <-- CarrierMy Account Number <--- AccountMy Name <--- A persons name that owns the accountBut this is no longer available via web, mobile, or pdf print. What gives? I'm trying to submit my phone bill to my company for my work expenses but they won't accept it cause it looks like a 3rd grader put a bunch of numbers and dates on a page. It does not look official at all and it doesn't contain any relevant information.
Trying to pay my bill which is due tonight and I’m getting an error message. I’m imputing the card numbers correctly and don’t know what the problem is. I hope I’m not charged a reactivating fee for not paying on time. I tried to call customer service and I got a message saying it was closed. I tried the chat and it was no help. Giving up after almost two hours. Happen same way last month and miraculously went through next day adding $15 to reactivate.A
I have 3 lines. My uncle, who is poor, lives in SF, Calif and let his Cricket service lapse. I want to add his phone to my plan.Also he already has an iPhone with a Cricket SIM in it (prior, but no current, service on that SIM). I have his IMEI and ICCID numbers.When I chatted w/Cricket their CSR said they'd have to sell me a new SIM which he'd have to install.Does anyone know how true this is? I’ll pay the “activation fee” or “fee fee” or whatever, but he’s not techy and I’d rather him not have to mess with his SIM.
Hello! At 11:00 PM I made a transaction with my card through Apple Pay to pay my phone bill but when it was processing through the screen randomly restarted and said that my card did not have the correct billing address but when I checked to see if anything was taken from my bank account $71.00 is pending saying the transaction was approved and went through though my phone bill is not paid. What can I do ? Please help.
I went through the process of returning a phone I did not end up liking within the return policy with the help of the warranty department.this was in March 2022as of august 2022 I have not received a refund or the phone back. I have called cricket customer service multiple times being into he line for over 3 hours at a time. I have also left messages with the warranty department as directed when you are transferred to that line.Further you can’t just go to a local store if you purchased online you have to go through the online return process. horrible service. At least send me back the phone if I am not getting a refund.
Hey I'm contacting yall because I have been waiting on my refund for a minute now all I keep getting is lie after lie I have been with cricket since yall open and I never thought I would have a problem with cricket so April 8th I purchased a iphone 13 mini by mistake so when I got the phone April 11th I took the phone back to the ups store after I called cricket and got a ticket to send it back I was told cricket received the phone April 13 and I should have my refund within 10 business days ok so while I'm waiting I never got a email or anything all I was told was 7-10 days then 8-10 days and 10-14 days I have my order number and the number for return I have been chatting with different people and nothing has been done but different lies told to me I don't understand why it is such a big deal to why I can't get my refund back now without a phone and my money it's very aggravating when I have been with yall also since my 10 days are up there is supposed to be a case open but what's the
Short story: booted of the grandfathered 5 for $100 plan after one 3g line went into suspension. Now being charged $110 a month. Called 7 times today to try and resolve. Got the line back online and now they moved us to 5 lines for $125. First, never gave permission to move to a new plan. Now, they said I need to file a dispute. I thought I was able to do that online BUT it seems I have to fill out a form and mail it in. Why such a run around? I tried last night to talk with someone online and I was on there for over 1 ½ hours which lead nowhere. Was on the phone today for almost 2 hours. If we don’t get back on the old plan, we’re moving on. There has to be a better way to dispute then sending snail mail. I think they just bank on people being lazy to not mail it in.
Looking at the bridge pay option. You pay $50 to have an extension on your monthly payment. If you miss your bridgepay payment ( I fell asleep and woke up an hour later) pay full amount of $122. After thinking about it, the reconnection fee is $15. So I’m questioning where my $50 goes towards, every rep I spoke to says it’s the policy but this policy is unethical and WRONG. I will be switching to a more reputable company and making a complaint to the BBB. We’re being charged more to get an extension then we are to actually let our service disconnect. I feel like everyone should be upset about this and look into it if you used the bridge pay option.
My service was supposed to be good until 11:59 pm. I paid in full at 11:39 pm. Then I find out that my account had already been suspended and a five dollar charge added. So when I added the CORRECT amount to keep my service turned on, my phone REMAINS deactivated until I pay the five dollar charge FOR YOUR MISTAKE. I refuse. Every second my phone remains deactivated is THEFT, because I was paying on time. FIX IT!I cannot believe I have my phone suspended because apparently some stupid F***up with daylight savings time.There is NO WAY to contact anybody in person to make them fix it. No real person to talk to anywhere. No phone service available, no non-bot chat. UNBELIEVABLE. ZERO customer service. What the hell is this bull****?
