I recently got a new credit card. I got a message on my phone regarding Cricket’s autopay attempt failing to go through, so I immediately called and updated my credit card information and was told by the robot that my autopay would continue as normal. I got a text to confirm that.
Just this evening (8/24 at 11:30pm MDT), I got a text saying that my Max benefits have been cancelled. Then my texts weren’t working. I checked my account to see it was suspended due to not paying my bill and was being charged an extra $15 for reactivation along with my regular $98 bill. How convenient to discover this AFTER Customer Support hours!
I was forced to pay the reactivation fee as I needed my phone, but since this error was 100% the fault of the company, how should I go about getting my $15 refund?
I have noticed this is a common issue. Absolutely unacceptable! This glitch has been going on for years and there is no fix for this???
