Credit Card Address Is Invalid

Is there any reason why I can't purchase an upgrade for my phone online using my debit card? I keep getting the error that says my credit card address is invalid even though I checked that it was correct on both my bank account and for my Cricket account. There is no reason for that error occur.

I know it's not my bank because I didn't have an issue making a payment through another site with the card. I do live in a rural area and if that is affecting my purchase, it is extremely frustrating as I can't get to a store until Sunday or Monday to make a purchase.

I did reach out but no one has gotten back to me on the issue yet.

Found out the issue was with my debit card not having the correct address attached to it. Contacted my bank and they fixed the issue. My purchase finally went through.

Sorry, don't know how to mark as resolved.

I have the credit card approval problem also. I only get bills at a PO box, but I do have a street address where I can receive shipments. My credit card company has both on file. That didn't work for Cricket. I eliminated my PO box on my credit card account temporarily, but that didn't work with Cricket either. I tried shipping to a UPS Store per crickets instructions oh, and that didn't work. It appears that Cricket only wants to sell to certain people and those are the class of people who have their billing statements go to the same address as their shipments do. That is discriminatory as different living places have different ways of handling mail and shipments and they are not all the same as crickets model. Would someone from cricket kindly contact me so that this can be straightened out.

After frustration for 4 hours trying to spend money, I can’t help get the impression that the helpful options to use Affirm or a leasing program are getting more hits because a normal credit card transaction won’t be accepted. According to my bank, I used my credit card 1400+ times in the last month.  Cricket Wireless is the ONLY vendor I have not been able to spend money at after dozens of retries.

Is this policy of Cricket a mechanism to present Affirm financing or leasing programs as a secondary revenue stream?  Someone must be getting a kickback for this credit card issue, which is well documented for many years now, to be a persistent issue.

I'm new to this forum, but I wanted to chime in and offer some help with your issue. It sounds like you're having trouble purchasing an upgrade for your phone online using your debit card due to an error stating that your credit card address is invalid. That's definitely frustrating, especially since you've already double-checked that the address is correct on both your bank and Cricket account.

It's good to hear that you've ruled out your bank as the issue since you were able to make a payment through another site with the same card. However, it's possible that the payment system on the website you're trying to use is experiencing some technical difficulties or is having trouble validating your address for some reason. Before giving up and waiting until Sunday or Monday to go to a store, have you tried contacting the website's customer support to see if they can provide any insight or assistance with your issue?

I suggest reaching out to their customer support team to see if they can help you troubleshoot the issue.
