I honestly feel that this policy they came up with a few years ago is ridiculous. If you make a brige pay and fail to pay the rest by date, you pay the whole thing, including what they already got from. So if you paid 70 and forget now you pay 133 which means you paid 200 dollars, plus that reactivation fee. Why is this even necessary to do? I have been a cricket customer since 2004 and this is the worst they have come up with. They need to do away with this.

@mkneer86

you dragged these amounts a little👀🤭

it’s only 200 if you BP your $100 month bill. Plus, they literally offer an extension the extension. How do you just miss a arrangement you pay to get into 🤪 Silly goose!

I love it! BP gets me out of a jam every time.

No I didn't drag the amounts at all. If you forget the bridge which really happens to people sometimes and it's the whole bill again on top of the money you already paid plus a reconnect fee. And the extension of bridge pay is an extra 50 dollars plus the remainder you owe after the extra extension. So pay 70 then 58 still left and if needing an extension another 50 then the 58 still. Either way they are getting you. It's just not necessary to have it where the whole bill has to be due if a bridge pay is missed. It was fine the way it was but they have to get as much as possible. I can understand reconnect fee but after that no reason. Just let it be as it was. You forget pay reconnect fee plus rest of bill and that's it.

It’s an honor system, it’s not like they hide the consequences from us. Plus, all our service is prepaid, so having an extension is a courtesy and not the case in my experience with other companies. 🤷🏽‍♀️ You say tomato I say tomato 😂🤣. But I feel you.

I get it I do. But it's just unnecessary and when they did start doing it customers weren't even told until you missed the remainder. It's like the customers don't matter.

With the the past 2 years being how it’s been, they’ve been a blessing to me. So sorry it’s not the same for you.

Hi @mkneer86 and thank you for posting on the Community Forum! BridgePay is a unique program here at Cricket, to assist our customers who need a little extra time making their payment. BridgePay allows you to split your Cricket bill into two separate payments. As long as you get set up within 7 days before or after the start of your billing cycle, you'll get 7 additional days to make the second payment. Keep in mind, the day you enter into the BridgePay agreement, is considered Day 1. For example, if you enter into a BridgePay today (11/10), you’ll have until 11:59 pm CST on 11/16 to make your 2nd payment. If you miss the second payment due date, you'll need to pay your total for the next billing month to restore your service. We also understand that life has thrown us all a curveball with the recent COVID-19 pandemic, so if you need to extend your BridgePay payment for another 7 days, we have you covered with BridgePay Extension. As long as you're already registered in BridgePay, and have made your first payment, you can call us to see if you are eligible for a BridgePay Extension. Additional fees will apply. BridgePay Extension can only be setup by calling 1-800-CRICKET (1-800-274-2538) or by dialing 611 from your Cricket device. Thank you for being a part of the #CricketNation. Stay safe & #SmileOn.💚

That's not my point I was making. As usual cricket completely misses what customers have to say and just don't care. My point was is it is ridiculous to have us pay the full balance if we miss the second payment on bridge pay and not just the remainder. That's how it used to be. And adds a reactivation fee. And the extended bridge pay is an additional 50 dollars even if just one day is needed plus the remainder from bridge pay. And I know all the perfect people are like just don't miss the second payment but sometimes life happens and a person forgets. I don't understand why cricket needed to change it to this way. If I pay 70 for first payment and miss the deadline I should just have to pay the remaining 58 not the whole bill. That's getting me for 200 dollars for no reason.

All these ppl criticizing how you miss a payment but when the situation happens to you I want to see how you react. It’s easy to criticize until a situation happens to you.
