After being a Cricket customer for over 2 and a half years, I'm wondering what the incentive is to stay? I would like to upgrade my phone, but every other company out there will give me MUCH better deals on a new phone. Additionally, Cricket is going to charge me an extra $25 to upgrade? Is that just a 'privilege of doing business with you' charge? I guess there's no real reason to stay since I'm going to save over $200 (plus the additional $25) just to go to another company. I understand that getting new customers is important, but you'd think there was some kind of benefit for being a loyal customer for so long. Oh well, looks like I'm off to another company. Maybe I'll be back in 2-3 years when you'll treat me like a 'valued new customer' again...
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND IS TAKING MONEY BUT REFUSING TO PROVIDE SERVICE. I started a new line last month on the $40 plan. I immediately noticed my service was very slow, I only had 1 bar of service and I was barely able to make a call. After 3 days I received a text saying all my data was used and my data would be even slower. I then paid an additional $13 to upgrade to the unlimited data plan. This DID NOT help and my data connection was still bad (I would get error messages saying I was not connected to the network as well as seeing it on my phone. I called customer service (Aug 24) and the rep said she would create a ticket to fix the issue and issue me a courtesy credit for the inconvenience. No one every contacted me or did anything about that ticket. Since that first call I have called over 10 times ( just spoke to a rep 2hrs ago) to report the same issue and that my data is not working but they issued another ticket, some reps hung up the phone in my face and some promised an
So on Oct. 5, 2019 I purchased a phone online and had it sent to the wrong address (my fault) so the persons refused the package and was sent back to Cricket. Fast forward a week and still no refund for the returned phone. I call them on and ask them about my refund and was told I will be issued to me in 5 to 7 days...they already had the phone back a week. So I wait 10 days and still no refund so call back and customer service rep tells me I’ll have it refunded back on my card 1-2 days wait 3 days still no money call AGAIN and was told same thing so I call back and ask to speak to supervisor and was put on hold 30 mins and no one ever came to answer my call. So call back next day and was told it taking so long because they just got to my case and someone will call me back that day or next but they put a “rush” on it so I should get my money back soon. Well it’s November 5, 2019 and STILL NO REFUND!
I am having an extremely frustrating problem when trying to buy a new phone and transfer a number to Cricket. Whenever I try to check out, I get the error "Your credit card address is invalid." I have tried multiple cards and always get the same problem. I have even tried doing the purchase from a brand new account rather than trying to add it as a line to my existing account. Same error again and again.I have spent a couple hours on the phone with customer service with no resolution. Today I spent 90 minutes in a store with no resolution. I can't just buy the phone in the store because there is a $200 rebate if I transfer the number, and that rebate is online only.If you search this problem with Google, you find many people have had the same issue. This is a recurring issue with the Cricket web site that no one seems to acknowledge, and customer service seems completely unaware of it or how to solve it. They can't help with place th
I am not a Cricket customer and yet they managed to steal more than $2,400.00 buck from me. I called Cricket less than 20 minutes after the stole my money and they refused to help me because they said I was not a customer. I have heard of similar complaints and was wondering how many of there customers they steal from.
i Have been a loyal member with multiply lines for years now with no changes at all to my account. My number has been cloned and is being used in a local scam and i called to fix it and i am told i have to pay $15. this is not my fault and i feel i should not be responsible especially, when it has never been changed since my plan began. there should be exceptions to this rule
Hello, I feel that we need to pressure the requisite D.A. into charging Cricket with felony fraud charges for charging credit/debit cards without permission. Also we should pursue a class action. BTW, anyone at Cricket care to turn my autopay off? So far, no one seems to want to help me with that.
Cricket CHARGING A FEE TO PAY MY BILL ! ! ! This is absolutely REDICULOUS!!!! This is just a way to make more money!! $48 per yearper account. They are the WORST phone carrier and have absolutely no customer service skills! There is NO CUSTOMER APPRECIATION AT ALL!! They are a PREPAY SERVICE yet behave as if they are not. If u cancel a line they REFUSE to credit your account for the $$ PAID IN ADVANCE FOR SERVICE not received!!! Keeping that in mind, if I want to add a line in the middle of a payment cycle they charge THE FULL AMOUNT! They don't "prorate." They also don't give credit for MONEY PAID ON AN ACCOUNT if it's not the full balance paid!!! I paid $50 towards my $100 balance....(well $104 after their new payment fee) that was not and will not be credited to my account because I did not pay the balance remaining in 5 days!!! It's like I never paid $50 at all! Balance is due in full + the fee of $4!!! They STOLE MY MONEY!! HOW CAN THEY STEAL MY MONEY LIKE THAT AND NOT APPLY IT TO
8/31 I bought 5 service payment cards from Target. They worked well and I was satisfied so I purchased another eight on 9/6 and tried to use them.It did not work. When I put in the information, it kept showing error message "Looks like your card information is incorrect. Please double-check it and try again." Tried 2 of 8 service payment cards not working at all.3-way conference call with Cricket Customer Service and (Service payment card balance check) 1-855-302-1721, was confirmed that the full balance $55 is on the card, but Cricket is not able to process. Because I had enough balance to cover the month, I waited for a month to try again. Now it's 10/4, I contacted Cricket Online Chat Support.First customer rep was bullsheetting me and told me because I tried more than 5 times per day to pay bill so I was declined --- Come on, it did not go thru the first time I tried...Then he came up with another bullsheet, saying because my fund balance is too high. I asked him to point me a
I honestly feel that this policy they came up with a few years ago is ridiculous. If you make a brige pay and fail to pay the rest by date, you pay the whole thing, including what they already got from. So if you paid 70 and forget now you pay 133 which means you paid 200 dollars, plus that reactivation fee. Why is this even necessary to do? I have been a cricket customer since 2004 and this is the worst they have come up with. They need to do away with this.
Is there any reason why I can't purchase an upgrade for my phone online using my debit card? I keep getting the error that says my credit card address is invalid even though I checked that it was correct on both my bank account and for my Cricket account. There is no reason for that error occur.I know it's not my bank because I didn't have an issue making a payment through another site with the card. I do live in a rural area and if that is affecting my purchase, it is extremely frustrating as I can't get to a store until Sunday or Monday to make a purchase.
I paid 30 dollars, and a 5 dollar re-activation fee on 2/7/2020. I didn't realize it only gave me 28 days of service, The service cards even show 30 days of service. Why is this? I get a text today reminding me my service goes out on Friday. Is it now 28 days for service? I mean how do you deal with people that get a phone during the middle of the month? You can't give them 15 days of service for a months payment.
I had a very horrible sign up experience with a local Cricket store. The guy in the store was obviously not trained and waited until he had completed my whole phone sign up to try to tell me that he informed me there will be additional charges, which discussion never happened. He was very eager to tell me that the phone that I was bringing from another carrier would be able to be used with no problems, I pressed on to ask if there would be any service interruptions at all, he insisted no there would be nothing wrong with me using my phone. 3 days later I find out that I missed three urgent phone calls I was waiting for from a doctor's office based on the fact that my features were not fully transferable from the other carrier that i came from, I went to another store and dealt with another associate and when I explained to her the problems that I had at that store she informed me that they are supposed to have two people in the store at all times. she was wonderful, helpful and ultimat
Hi! So I have a question about my billing amount. My total bill is originally $65 a month. I'm on the benefit program which is supposed to take $30 off my bill which would leave my bill at $35 total. But when I logged into my account to pay my bill, i noticed i have a $30 credit as well from last month. So basic math means i should only be paying $5 this month right? But somehow the website says that i owe the full $35 right now. I'm confused and I cant get a representative on the phone to explain to me why my credit isn't being applied! And I cant chat with a representative either!! I'm confused as to why I'm being overcharged if I over paid last month...help please!!!
I spent approximately 3 hours today on the phone and in chat with cricket customer support. I want to help those of you who are wondering if cricket is a company you want to do business with, don't do it. Yesterday I called cricket and changed my service plan to the new unlimited plan which was going to save me some money since I have multiple lines. After the changes were made, I told the agent I would like to go ahead and pay the bill in full with her over the phone since it was due the next day. She gave me a total that was less than what I expected saying there was a $25 credit on the account. I happily paid the amount and was done. After I got off the phone, I logged onto the cricket website just to be sure that all the changes were made and the payment was applied. The website showed my payment and my $0 balance. Upon attempting to use my phone this morning, I discovered that my account was suspended for non-payment and that I owed $25. I had to wait until 7am EST to call cricket
Phone shut off because of lack of funds so i called yeaterday and spoke witj a agent and asked if there was anything that could be done to get service on because of being on unemploymeant and waiting on money and lady put me on hold a few times saying she was working on it then when she came back on phone again we got disconnected and she called me back and phone was back on and she told me that she had managed to get us service for a day and asked if that would be enough time for me to come up with my bridge pay and i told her i was going to try and we ended call not onve did she tell me she had changed my plan we had the 55 on both lines anyway we went to call family in mexico and was not allowed to make call so this morning i called at 9 am and apoke with an agent who could see that the agent the day before did not inform me she had changed our plan or even asked my permission to make changes to my plan she just took it upon her self anyway i qas told by first agent rhis morning tha
Cricket debited my checking account after the account was closed and refuses to refund my money. Talked with customer service. Talked with customer service supervisor. Both said they do not have a policy to make refunds. This charge overdrew my account and now I am jumping through the hoops of my financial institution. Very Poor Customer Service
