Lets face it. Cricket is a budget company with budget phones. Gets u out of a tight spot if ur desperate. But then when its time to upgrade or change ur number, or pretty much anything, its basically a giant fuck u. Here come all the surcharges. Whats more which they dont mention in the stores is u have to have an open account for 6 months with the phone u bought in order to get the lock code. Doesnt matter that u spent $xxx.xx and its YOUR phone. They hold u and it hostage. I pray i never become so desperate again to EVER do business with this company. Phuck Cricket
Hello. I used to be a customer and I wanted to come back. Thing is, I'd really like to have my old phone number if it's available. Is there any way to request specific digits when starting up service OR when changing the phone number of an existing account?Thank you very much.
I changed my pin after several failed attempts to change it through the automated (I wouldn’t receive the confirmation code) I spoke with a representative to have the pin changed. Cricket wireless sent me a confirmation code that my pin was successfully changed but it didn’t confirm my number.How canI confirm I still have my accurate number
I called and spoke to a representative about using a old SIM card because my device wouldn’t stay on and I wasn’t sure why.After giving the representative my SIM card number I wanted to charge it to he said that that SIM card was being used on another line. Kindly confirm what needs to be done as I explained to him this was not possible as the SIM card is in my possession.This is known as a form of identity theft how can I get this fixed.
Have been trying to port my number to a new carrier for about a week now. Cricket says the port is ready to go, US Mobile says there is multiple port requests out on the number and there isn’t, they’re also saying there is invalid account info to complete the port, but the account and PIN are all correct. A possible solution has been brought to my attention that USM might have input an incorrect Service Profile ID number. Cricket support chat is telling me my account # and pin are my SPiD, but it should only be a 4 digit number, cricket/att specific. I’ve spent 5+ hours on the phone trying to get this number ported over, I just want to be done with this
first question does cricket charge tax and fees on monthly charge ( such as $40 a month ) ? second question i like the low end (as they call them ) andriods i am looking for one similar to axia ( vision cricket ) or zte maven 3 ?third on byod does any phone from at&t work ? and last question is cricket owned by at&t ?
are you ever going to fix your sign up? it's been almost a year since this problem has cropped up and absolutely nothing has been done about it. I shouldn't have to turn off my wifi (and sometimes even my data) on my PHONE just to be able to sign in. i've already talked to customer service over the phone when this issue first popped up for me and they were overall unhelpful.i understand that due to covid things might be a lil short staffed here and there but i feel like fixing your sites login is literally vital to your company and its customers. you should focus on that. :/
I have 3 lines. My uncle, who is poor, lives in SF, Calif and let his cell service lapse. I want to add his phone to my plan but want him to have a 415 or other local area code.When I chatted w/Cricket their CSR said they could only give me a number local to my current (billing) address.Does anyone know how true this is? Is there anyway to add a non-remote area code, and can they do it for an existing SIM? Or is this something Best Buy can help with? Or (I suspect not) a Cricket store local to him or me?
So I just got with cricket and to be honest. I’m trying to be happy but it’s hard. So I got 2 iphones on the 18th few days ago. I downloaded a game I been playing and all I get is buffering and lagging. Brought the phone in and the lady said I need to boost my data speed for another 20$! I’m unlimited already and I only used not even 4gigs. Everything else works fine. The game I play is clash of clans. I’m also with T-Mobile. Works great on T-Mobile. So I’m thinking I made the WRONG CHOICE. I don’t know. Just aggravating it buffers so much.. any help would be great but the lady tried all kind of stuff. I also been reading online that I’m not the only person having this issue!!
Hi,I recently lost my phone (I put it on top of my car, forgot it was there and drove off; it’s currently on the freeway, probably in pieces), I went to the Cricket store but can’t remember my pin number, which I set up few years ago and they’re saying the security question answer is invalid. Since I’m not actually typing in the answer and it’s easy to be spelled incorrectly, I’m wondering if it’s actually wrong or it’s being entered incorrectly, which is still wrong, according to them. At any rate, is there any recourse to getting this resolved? All correspondence is done through the phone which I don’t have access to and don’t remember my pin from however long ago.
So basically I’ve been with cricket for a whole year and the last 2 or 3 months I have not had service because money has been tight well I try signing into my cricket account and it tells me my account has been deactivated. I tried making a new account but it wants to send a temporary password to the cricket number but I can’t get anything because I haven’t had service. Please help.
I had the worst customer service ever. I was sent in circles and my problem was not resolved. I paid approximately $800 outright no payments for a brand new phone it was still in great shape but it got wet called insurance had to pay a $150 deductible got the new phone and the battery won't hold charge. I call the insurance company back tell the whats going on was then told its a remanufactured phone, I said now wait a minute you are telling me that my phone that was practically brand new was replaced with a used phone after I not only bought it outright but have carried insurance on that you charged me $150 deductible for and you are going to send me a used phone. OH HECK NO!! Well now my used phone won't hold charge insurance tells me it's not on them that it is now a warranty issue and I need to call you all so I did, had a long wait and was told to leave a call back number, won't loose my place in line and warranty will call me back. Hello!So I bought a cricket phone while I was in the US (because they wouldn’t let me just get a SIM) to use while I was there. Unfortunately on returning to the UK, I thought I would be able to easily log in online and close my account. Not so.SMS seems to be the only way to confirm an account and manage a phone number but of course I can’t recieve SMS outside the USA.I tried turning on WIFI calling to see if that would help, but of course when I toggled it on, I just recieved an error message saying I didn’t have permission to access WiFi calling on “this server”I just want to close the account so I don’t get charged for another month in 3 days.Any advice on how to work around this would be welcomed.
When trying to order a new upgraded phone on my account I get the following error message from Cricket. “Looks like you’ve reached the maximum orders permitted for this address. Sorry about that!”. This error message has come up with the last 2 phones I had upgraded. Waited at least 2 days and was able to order. I have 2 accounts through cricket 6 lines, I have ordered and spent at least $500-$800 in the last 2-3 months upgrading all of our phones. For the last phone we are wanting to upgrade and pay almost $500 for this phone. I have contacted numerous times through the cricket chat, to no help. They say to go incognito, which doesn’t work either and last person told me to wait at least 1 week and try again. ?????????????Sounds like cricket doesn’t even know how to fix their problems, or want money.
