Cannot create new account

I just transferred to Cricket and when I go to create an account it will not allow me to finish the process. I can enter my phone number, create a username, and receive a temporary password via SMS. But once I get to creating the actual password it says it is invalid/doesn’t meet requirements, even though it does and all of the check marks show on the requirements. I’ve contacted customer service and they told me to try again in 24 hours, which I have now done and it is still giving me the same issue. I have tried on a desktop and mobile device as well as various passwords, but nothing seems to work.

Hi @ebo56 we thank you for reaching out to Cricket Forum. We would suggest ensuring your current device is operating on the latest software available. Next, go into settings and clear the app cache and data, then uninstall and reinstall the app. These steps have helped resolve other customers experiencing the same issue. 


I’ve been dealing with this for months, Cricket tech line was no help at all.  Finally fixed it this morning; in my password, I was using a period (.) as a special character (giving me all green check marks).   When I changed it to a # sign, I was FINALLY able to make a new account!  Why don’t the tech reps know this?
