i had to send my first cricket phone back the power button went .. was wondering about the phone do you hard erase the phone  and why did the power button go ?

Hi @lordie ! When devices are rent back to our warehouse, they are wiped out/factory rest, but we always recommend our customer perform the factory reset themselves.

i could not factory reset the phone so i just removed the sim and back cover and battery ( as indicated online )  , i also put my return authorization number on the envelope .
