Lack of Information about Blacklisting a lost device from CSR Cost me my time, money, and turned my device into a paper weight
So I had temporarily lost my phone and at the time thought it was stolen since it seemed to have disappeared into thin air. I end up calling cricket to let them know the phone is lost and possibly stolen they shut off the line for me and the customer service rep then suggested blacklisting my device. You would think that he would of mentioned that if I chose to blacklist my lost device that it would be impossible to remove and restore my service! You think they would warn you of the negative repercussions of blacklisting a device through cricket but the rep made it sound all peachy and even told me that there would be no freaking problem restoring service if my device was found. Fast forward to the next day and I get a call from my friend saying I forgot the phone at their house. I go and grab my phone call cricket pay remaining bill and the rep pretty much blew smoke up my ass telling me that my service was restored and my phone was taken off the blacklist. If I would of known that th
I used the Cricket Chat help this evening to find the confirmation number to check the status of my order because the website did not send me an email after my order when I ordered Friday. While waiting for a CSR epUPS delivered my phone shortly after 6pm. I told the CSR rep the phone had just arrived so she ended up helping me activate the phone. She was patient and kindit was a good experience, thank you Stella. Thelma F.
Why is it that after being a responsible customer for so long, there are no discounts for upgrading your phone? They charge the amount they sell for everywhere. Not to mention, I haven’t upgraded once in three years. But new accounts get a $300.00 discount.I understand new accounts are important but most of those new accounts are due to your current customers word of mouth.Current customers and their history should account for something with upgrades, shouldn’t they?
This past spring I got a new phone, same number and plan, nothing changed other than my phone but now I get at least 10+ text scams a day! I get scam calls more too. I even signed up for the "do not call" list and it hasn't gotten better. My bf switched to cricket at the same time, so we could save money, and he's getting excess spam as well... only that keep calling him Courtney. WHY???
Someone Mistakenly Tried to Port My Number Into Cricket, How Can I Get Them to Cancel The Pending Port Request?
I am a Ting Mobile customer on the Sprint Network. According to Sprint customer support, someone on May 2nd tried to port my number into Cricket Wireless. I did not authorize this, and I was completely unaware of this. I suspect that a person tried to port some other number into Cricket Wireless, but made a typo while entering the phone number. Now, I am unable to change from a Sprint SIM card to a T-Mobile SIM card, because there is a “pending port already in progress.” According to Ting customer support, they are unable to cancel the port request. They say that it must be cancelled by Cricket. However, when I call into Cricket, they tell me that I am unable to cancel the port request because I cannot provide the authorization of the account that requested it. I don’t have an account with Cricket, and I have no idea who tried to port my number into Cricket, so I can’t give any authorization info. But, I’m the one who owns the number, and I am able to call in to customer support using
My phone was abruptly turned off "no service" 10/28/19 around noon. On 10/26 Cricket auto took my payment thru my credit card. When I went to Cricket Office, they said my phone was canceled and transferred to T-Mobile. At the T-Mobile Office, they had no record. I went on line with Customer Service and I had my account number, PW, and security answer, but can't recall my PIN. I am a 76 yo senior and not especially tech savvy. Why can't they reset my pin and help me out?? My cell is my only phone. Pattycakes25
Why can't I ever order a new upgrade phone off the website? I have been having this problem for years now. However I've tried different forms of payment cards, check to see if the address matched with the card and it always does. I also tried a different browser and different devices to order my devices and still the same problem. What gives? I'm about to go to another company like Verizon.
For the past week I've been trying to upgrade my son's phone on our 5 line plan to an Apple XR (128 GB). So far, no success. I progress to the last screen but when I click "Place Order" I get "Oops! Something went wrong. Please contact Customer Support". I've tried on muiltiple days with different credit cards, no luck. I went to the Cricket store, but they admitted that they didn't know what the problem was and they couldn't help me. They tried to ring me up in the store with no luck. I then called customer support, twice. The first time was worthless (after taking nearly an hour to reach a human). The second time (yesterday) the person said they did something to fix the issue and to try and puchase again after midnight. Well, I just tried and I received that same error message. I'm almost to the point of switching my entire family to another carrier.
I called and spoke to a representative about using a old SIM card because my device wouldn’t stay on and I wasn’t sure why. After giving the representative my SIM card number I wanted to charge it to he said that that SIM card was being used on another line. Kindly confirm what needs to be done as I explained to him this was not possible as the SIM card is in my possession. This is known as a form of identity theft how can I get this fixed.
On Monday May 22nd my phone network went down at 1132am. I am the primary acct holder and have 3 other lines besides mine. All 4 lines lost network connection. I am a delivery driver and was using my maps when it happened. So I went to a McDs for the WiFi to see if maybe there was a down tower or something. As soon as I hooked up to WiFi I started getting all these notifications from my email that someone tried to access my Amazon, Google and Bank accounts. Then one from Venmo telling me my acct password was changed. Then 2 from affirm about the loan request I wanted. Then a couple from Paypal showing payments (this is how they accessed my bank acct). So I immediately run to my bank and they shut my card down but another charge had already come thru. So I'm out over $400 at this point. Next I go to my local cricket store, where over 3 days I spent 8 hours. The manager was as helpful as possible but she could only do so much. We determined what happened is that someone called in to do a
Who can go a couple of days without their phone? Changed over to Cricket 6 months ago bought a very nice phone still under warranty now it is not working.Cricket wants me to send it back through UPS and go without a phone for 2 days who in today's world can do that not me. It is easier just to change carriers and eat the cost of the new phone which I truly cannot afford to do but it's cheaper than going 2 days without a phone and I refuse to buy another phone from Cricket worst experience ever with a cell company customer service Cricket very poor policy I will be changing back to my old carrier if I cannot get satisfaction from cricket
The beginning of November 2021 I went into pay my bill for the month of November for my iPhone 11. I had previously owned a galaxy note with galaxy live buds and I saw the significance and the ease that life became once I used those two items together obviously one was built to complement the other. Since I’m a new customer to Apple I wanted that same experience with the iPhone and being in the cold environment and homeless I felt it necessary to make a purchase of some wireless earbuds made by Apple. I had $70 in my wallet after I paid my bill and there was on display right by the cash register a little white box that was so signature of an Apple product I had seen the little white box in previous visits but was always intimidated because I knew they were going to be expensive. My fiancé and I ( now separated largely due to the fighting that ensued after I made the purchase of these earbuds) We’re trying to maintain a long distance relationship and again me being homeless and in the
A few days ago my service stopped working and when I managed to get logged into the MyCricket app, it was listed as 'temporarily available". Yesterday I used the chat feature and it worked for about 14 hours. Then in the middle of the night it turned back off and is now listed as "suspended". I've never had this issue before, what can I do to resolve and stop it from happening again?
