Yes, I have been a customer with Cricket for many years. My phone was stolen August 2022 and I had to purchase another phone. I had wanted to keep the same telephone number but the man that stole my identity was accessing the Ion I purchased. I went back to the Cricket store and since I had no insurance, I had to basically get the cheapest Motorola phone possible. My number was changed to 662-782-6379. I had to get a Motorola pure G. I was told that I was eligible for an upgrade February, 2023. I wanted to get an IP hone but was told that since I was already a customer, I would have to pay full price. I have had some problems with this Motorola and I would love to upgrade but I cannot pay 499.99 for a telephone period. I am checking prices in the app for a Samsung and they are out of my price range. Also, the friend that referred me, did not get her $25 referral fee and I gave her full name and telephone number at the store. Her name is Teresa Perry and she just got a new phone and num
On 7/6/2023, my cell number was illegally ported out without permission. I have been using this number for decades and been the cricket customer for 7 years. My phone service just stopped working suddenly and it says “ SOS ONLY”. I thought is was just the phone issue and had tried to fix it, but after several hours trying I realized it’s a port out scam. I had been calling Cricket customer service numerous time speaking with different representatives and noticed my pin & security question were already changed by the scammer and I had to go to the store in-person with my ID. I went to the cricket store twice showing my ID and spending more than 6 hours there, no one can open a case for me to do the investigation to help get my number back. My phone was ported out to StraightTalk then Simple Mobile (same company) within a day and I spoke to their customer service reporting this scam. I was told by Simple Mobile that I need to get Cricket open a case so they can work together with Cri
I continue to get notices to activate a phone on an order that I received in mid-April…..and have activated. It is on my account AND working. Only now I’m told that if I don’t activate within the next 5 days it will be cancelled! I’ve activated it...a few times. It is my son’s phone and I DO NOT want it taken off of my account. I’ve activated the order…..over and over again, but still getting notices to activate it or it will be cancelled. I upgraded my son’s old phone on April 14th, so this was an order for an existing line that has been with Cricket for the past 4 years. I activated the phone (via the phone itself) when it came in a few days later and have “activated” again and again through these incessant texts and emails I’m getting telling me the phone is going to be cancelled. He is leaving on a school trip in 3 days and I CANNOT have his phone stop working in 5 days while he is out of town. Can someone help please.
MY NUMBER WAS HACKED & PORTED OUT. I HAVE 2 CASE NUMBERS C-73ZAA6 & C-1TJMN9 FILED “19” DAYS AGO. I CALL OR CHAT EVERY DAY. NO RESPONSE OR SUPPORT FROM CRICKET. JUST WE ARE WORKING ON IT. WHY CAN A HACKER DO THIS IN 15 MINUTES & CRICKET CANT FIX IT IN OVER 19 DAYS??? HOW ABOUT SOME SUPPORT CRICKET????
It was sometime ago that Cricket changed their account portal. At that time you were no longer taken directly to Usage and now is only Bill pay and had to instead click a tab to have it load (many times it would not do so.) But the stupid inability to change plans without loading up Cricket’s app is really annoying for those of us that are mobile hotspot Data only users. You can not load an app on a hotspot! So I guess you can call in every time you decide you want to change but why did whoever set this up get rid of the online method for controlling plans? I suspect the thought is only phone users are customers. I must admit even if I was a phone customer I would not want to deal with some doohickey app loaded on my phone instead of the webpage.
Where is the two factor authentication when logging into the Cricketwireless.com website? This is standard now everywhere to protect customers accounts, especially phones. When will this be implemented? I am looking for two factor to work with something like google authenticator.
Trying to access my account from over seas. Tried the basic resets like mentioned in some support topics like clear cache / cookies. Use a VPN but nothing works. Once I try to login I receive this error. You don't have permission to access "http://www.cricketwireless.com/restservices/accountauth/v1/authtokens/halo" on this server. As a long time cricket customer I would like to be able to manage my account and phone lines from anywhere. So please let me know a workaround to get access to my account. ThanksThomas M
Hi Crockett, How are you? My phone and my husband’s were hacked for a second time. The first involved my husband’s phone only with a Zelle transfer. The second involved both our phones with a large wire transfer and access to our bank info. After reading the Crockett forums, this seems to be common. Given I reside in Mexico, cannot call on my phone and have been locked out of my online account, how do you recommend I fix this? Also what steps are cricket taking to minimize this? One hack and loss of money is too much. Twice is unacceptable.

I’m having this problem to with chrome, and Firefox unfortunately clearing cache and cookies is cleared and close out all my tabs of web browser do not work ,even on phone app will not loging using my network, I have to tune off wifi on phone to loging but in this case I can not do this on web browsers on my PC as it is looking like it’s denning my IP provider and I can not change this. Do not wanna use a VPN to change IP as this is very sketchy to do when trying to loging in to accounts.
My cricket account and phone number have been hacked. They changed the account pin and the security question, which are the only two things cricket customer service and help desk will accept. I have been into a cricket store and the store manager kept getting the run around from cricket customer service and the help desk. Numerous forms of fraud have happened to my wife and I because of losing our phone number to someone impersonating us and using our information.
There is no connection with the previous owners of this iPhone. We need a connection from the cricket operator.
Good day, I have a similar problem. I bought an iPhone 11 and it is connected to the cricket operator. There is no contact with the owner of the cricket number. The reason is that we live on different continents and I don’t know how this iPhone got to Ukraine, but I bought it. Please tell me how I can find the owner of the account using this phone number or even just the phone number of this person??? If you know the answer, here is my IMEI **********36670. As far as I know, all other necessary requirements have been met, 6 months have passed and the phone is not blacklisted. Please solve my problem, I will be very grateful to you.I can’t call you because I simply won’t be able to carry on a conversation; I don’t have knowledge of spoken English. I'm from Ukraine. I use Google Translator to record these messages. And I really hope that everything is translated correctly.
I think I may have found a bug on your website for the Phone Number Transfer section.I've tried three times to place orders with Cricket and transfer my number from Verizon. Your website keeps asking me for the Verizon Account Number, Pin and last 4 digits of the SSN. Each time I placed the order, then order got cancelled with zero explanation.Today I got so fed up that I went into the Cricket Store, told the manager what's going on and he was able to get my phones and my numbers transferred with no problems. The difference is that they only needed my Verizon Account Number, Pin and ZIP CODE, not the last 4 digits of the SSN.Therefore you guys need to change your website so instead of asking for the last 4 digits of the SSN, it asks for EITHER the last 4 digits of the SSN or the Zip Code.Hope that helps.
