Hello! So I bought a cricket phone while I was in the US (because they wouldn’t let me just get a SIM) to use while I was there. Unfortunately on returning to the UK, I thought I would be able to easily log in online and close my account. Not so.SMS seems to be the only way to confirm an account and manage a phone number but of course I can’t recieve SMS outside the USA.I tried turning on WIFI calling to see if that would help, but of course when I toggled it on, I just recieved an error message saying I didn’t have permission to access WiFi calling on “this server”I just want to close the account so I don’t get charged for another month in 3 days.Any advice on how to work around this would be welcomed.
I’ll start from the beginning, since no one at Cricket seems to understand what I am saying, despite being transferred back and forth for 3 hours. Maybe some help from the community folks will do the trick…April 2 - ordered an iPhone 12 and a supporting case. Used the Progressive Leasing option. April 5 - UPS delivers “something” from Cricket around 6:30pm. The box is not damaged or harmed in any way. There is only one layer of tape on the box so I can tell it hasn’t been opened, then re-sealed. I open the box. There’s a SIM card, a phone case, BUT NO PHONE. After an hour of hold time, I finally get to the Online Orders department, only to be told by some genius that I have to file a claim with UPS. Not only was this the wrong answer, but he kept talking over as i tried to re-explain the situation. He wasn’t listening at all, and then he stated “well it’s delivered on our end.” I just told you it wasn’t….sent everything but the actual phone. What’s so difficult to comprehend? Tried to
Just another existing customer trying to get a new-customer deal. I’m looking into the iPhone XR from cricket, but its over $100 more as an existing customer. I plan on getting a cheap $15 prepaid line from T-Mobile, and porting that number over to cricket to get the iPhone. Then cancelling both the cheap tmobile line and line I used to get the iphone, and inserting my current sim. Has anyone had any experience doing something like this?
Cricket has, yet again, decided to close their customer service to their customers hours before their listed hours. This has been going on for months and every rep I’ve brought this up to just says I’m lying and must not know what time it really is. Well, right now I tried it again at 9:44pm ET and was told to come back when they’re open, even though they are open till 11:00pm ET every night. Cricket needs to update their hours to let people know when they are actually willing to help their customers instead of just helping whenever they feel like it at random times of the day.
Had a problem with my wife’s phone, voice mail was not working correctly and we needed additional storage space. Took phone to local store, there were 3 other customers in the store and 1 clerk, who was trying to service everyone at the same time. I explained my issues and without even looking at the phone, she said the phone was old and could not be fixed and I had to buy a new one, and this one is the one I needed to buy. I asked for a model that was simple to use, but that request went right over her head. Asked if ALL of the photos and messages would be transferred over and was told yes. She transferred data, but not all as I was to find out later, she gave me the phone and a bag and said thanks. No intro to phone, I spent 2 hours sitting in the store trying to understand the phone. Had to figure out how to turn it on and off, answer the phone. When I tried to place a call I found the number for the phone was not correct, she had entered my number and not the number of my wife’s l
So I have 5 lines. All available for upgrades. Yet I'm not able to upgrade them all together because even though through my contract I'm able to they won't let me. In the store it's possible but you'll spend about $300-$400 more due to the fact that you don't get the "upgrade discount" ($25 fee) in the store and must pay full price for the phone. So why is it that Cricket is allowed to break contract agreements? How are they able to legally get away with ripping customers off and not delivering on what they agree to?
A little background story, my mother and I were on a joint plan when I was younger and still living with her. We decided to split up and went a cricket store to get that done. The rep there messed up and switched our phone numbers (did not realize this until we started getting texts meant for the other person). We went back to the cricket store and were told we werent able to change it. Now I've had an account under my mothers name for the past 3 years. My current issue is:I have insurance through Asurion and trying to replace my broken s8. They are now requiring me to send in a copy of my mom's drivers license in order to approve my claim. Ok, thats inconvenient since she lives out of state. I get the copy of the driver's license, send it in, then Asurion tells me they wont accept it because its expired. My mom has an unpaid $1500 ticket from 2013 she absolutely cant afford to pay, so she cant replace her ID. She doesnt even drive anymore. Asurion is telling me the only way I
It's been two weeks since I added a line to my account and was supposed to receive my line in one business day and after relentlessly calling no one seems to know how to resolve this issue and on going to the store in person the guy there was just soo rude and asked me to get a new phone..All I need is another line for my other phone which is working perfectly fine and a cricket phone for that matter. So can someone please help me resolve this issue or maybe it's just time to find another provider who can meet it's customers needs..
I'm just wondering how you can shut my phone off when my entire state is on lockdown and we can't work for weeks . My kids are home the internet is the only way to access their homework. It is irresponsible to treat your customers this way. Loyal customers for years and this is what we get from you. The electric companys the gas companys and property Management and other cell phone companies are delaying payment for at least 60days to help ppl in this crisis . I hope customers remember how we are being treated buy these companies that don't care about their customers and only care about their money in this time thx for nothing
We are on the 4 phone plan yet none of our phones will make calls and jasnt since we paid the bill on june 1st.We've called multiple times about it & jst get another wk that they will be fixed. Its been over a month an we still cant call out so if this issue isnt resolved soon, come Aug 1st,we will all leave cricket.Wich is sad because i was on cricket for 5 yrs an never had any issues before but this is totally unacceptable, paying $115 for phones we cant make calls on.
It's LAME that you don't total up each month's data usage, and make that available for us to see!Instead, you show EACH DAY'S DATA USAGE for up to a month at a time. This applies both to computer access and the myCricket app via a phone! So, if we want to see what we're using a month, we are forced to manually total it ourselves?Could it be that you fear that we might realize we don't need the data amount we are already paying for, and therefore would switch to a lesser (cheaper) plan?
On our way back from vacation, our phone lost connectivity. Nothing out of the ordinary for Cricket but after a couple hours, i did become concerned. So I contacted Cricket that stated both my wife and I had their cell phones ported to another carrier. They've been investigating for seven days now. Seven! What that really means is they hope i just go away. Today, i woke up and my Cricket phone was wiped clean. Cricket obviously sent a signal to it. Which wiped out my historic data/texts. And all pictures/videos. So, i said enough of this BS and filed a BBB complaint. Not that it will do anything. Is it too much to hope for a giant meteor taking out Crickets HQ?
So purchased phone online, UPS delivered to the wrong address. Cricket informed me they couldn't do anything. So i filed a dispute with my bank to get my money back. UPS found my phone and delivered it 5 days later this was in March. June 18 Cricut cut my service and reported my phone stolen, after talking to my bank the situation was rectified and the money was credited back to Cricket. But as of today as I type this my service is still suspended because my phone was placed on a national block list and I have yet to be able to use my phone.
Hello, I recently ordered a new phone thru the website and made it thru the entire transaction. I forgot the tracking number and noticed that I never got a confirmation email following the purchase. I have no idea what the number would be to see how long it would take to receive said phone. Any help concerning this matter would be appreciated. Jeff
I walked in Cricket wireless store aka Crown Wireless Corp, 3523 N Beltline Rd Irving 76062. I was greeted as, "hey you want to pay bill?" I said no, I'd like to port in my line. She yells someone's name in the back to "come out and help this guy" wow - customers are not Sir, Gentleman, Mr. but a "guy". This young man tries to pull a fast one on me - yea, phone is free if you select $60 plan and $25 activation fee and..... wait for it.... "your taxes would be $30" - I said, what! what rate tax you are charging me - he goes, oh thats your total, your phone, your first month bill, your protection. I said Protection plan is $7 right, how come it gets up to $30? Then this new manager girl who just had walked from behind jumped in and says, yeah yeah thats your total with phone, first month bill and taxes - I said, but I am porting in my line so phone is free... so she says, yea but then case cover etc all comes to $30 - I said no I decline - I don't want any - she says oh then y
