There is no option to change the phone number from my current account phone number to the new phone. Anyone have any ideas as to what is happening? I have never had this problem before. When I tried to all, they said they were open until 11 pm, but it was only 9:30 pm EST. Please help! I can’t use my phone and I need to get these activated. Thanks.
My account was shut off out of the blue. I had to get on a chat to find out. They've been telling me every day that they are looking into it and it will be 24-48 hours. Every single day. And then they said they would contact me. I said how. Not joking here.. they were going to call me. How f'ing stupid is their support. How is it possible to not have phone verification of some type? Either a text verification with a PIN or a physical phone call to the phone in which the individual reveals personal info that is not visible or accessible to a would be hacker. Would anyone be interested in a class action suit? I don't know about you, but its been a major inconvenience to me. I am having accounts compromised because of the verification codes that are being sent to the older number and so on... I am probably not far from full blown identify theft. jbogner2001 AT yahoo DOT comCricket did not even express any concern until I filed a BBB complaint. And they only ask
I have a data only plan. My SIM card is in a security camera that is mounted 30’ up in the air on a telephone pole. I cannot access it, at least not without renting equipment to get me up there again. I am not able to create an account on Cricket or load the Cricket App since all requests for a password are texted to my device, which is inaccessible. Therefore, I cannot manage my bill or do anything else. It seems that Cricket support cannot add a new phone number which I can actually get messages on, nor do they send emails or even paper mail. How am I to manage my account if I cannot access it via the website or app?Cricket support has said that I need to pull my SIM card and put it into another Cricket phone to receive the messages to create my account. Frankly, if I have to rent a lift to pull my SIM card, I will be doing so to replace their data plan with someone else’s. Also, I don’t have another Cricket device and live far away from any Cricket stores. So, if I need to get up th
Hello, I recently ordered a new phone thru the website and made it thru the entire transaction. I forgot the tracking number and noticed that I never got a confirmation email following the purchase. I have no idea what the number would be to see how long it would take to receive said phone. Any help concerning this matter would be appreciated. Jeff
I have been a long time customer of Cricket Wireless Service. On 8/24/2023, I got a suspicious message sending the PIN for the account transfer. I contacted customer service right away and reported that I didn't ask for a transfer. Cricket said all is well taken care of and as long as I didn't show my PIN all will be good. I changed my account password for better security. On 8/25/2023 all of a sudden my phone no longer had LTE service. I checked the account with suspicion and found that my number was deleted(I was the main account holder for 3 lines shared with family). Then when I checked the emails I was getting emails accessing my Wells Fargo Bank account and starting to wire transfer $2500 and moving $2200 from the brokerage investment into the checking account. They were also trying to access my Amex account. Ironically, the financial institutions were asking for the secure code that will be sent to my previous number. I didn't have the mobile service any more and all my family wa
We have two iPhone XR phones on our account and we are getting messages that they need to be upgraded for the 5G switch. We do not wish to upgrade these phones at this time, plus they are still for sale on the Cricket Wireless website. Are they still going to be functional after February?
Hello!I was wondering if it was possible to get a record of when text messages were sent, and to whom said messages were sent to. I accidentally deleted a text conversation I had on my iPhone, and sadly, I don't have a suitable backup to recover said conversation. I don't need the content of the text messages--merely the times and recipients. I know that Cricket's parent company (AT&T) does indeed keep such logs, so I was hoping Cricket would to.If it helps, I live in the state of California, so would I be able to request a text message log using a privacy request thanks to the California Consumer Privacy Act?
We are on the 4 phone plan yet none of our phones will make calls and jasnt since we paid the bill on june 1st.We've called multiple times about it & jst get another wk that they will be fixed. Its been over a month an we still cant call out so if this issue isnt resolved soon, come Aug 1st,we will all leave cricket.Wich is sad because i was on cricket for 5 yrs an never had any issues before but this is totally unacceptable, paying $115 for phones we cant make calls on.
So here is why I regret having cricket as my phone carrier.I have 3 phones on my account; my phone and a phone for my son and one for my daughter. Back in October both my childrens phone began malfunctioning so I put in a claim for 2 new phones through Asurance. We received the 2 new phones, so I reached out to a cricket rep to help with activation, which was successful. August of this year my daughter lost her phone so I put in another claim for her lost phone. meanwhile my sons phone was placed on the block list so I called cricket to find out what was going on with my sons phone, the cricket rep put in a ticket to remove the phone from the block list and restored his phone as well. A few hours later my sons phone was block from making calls, taxing or using internet once again. so I called cricket back and was told that assurance had to unblock his phone. so I contacted Assurance and was told that back in October the 2 phones that I received were activated under opposite phone numbe
I have been a loyal cricket customer for a decade and I live in the fastest growing city in the country. Why has service dropped or totally disappeared in the last few months. Where I used to get 3 and 4 bars I now only get 1 or 2 if I get any. In a major metropolitan area service should be getting better. I understand that cricket is upgrading the system to 5g but that should not reduce 4g coverage. Customer service is dismissive the only saving grace cricket has right now is it's local representatives. Even still if I cannot get better service I will have to change carriers. Let's see if cricket corporate responds to this because I am getting the run-around when I call customer service.
