never recieved phone
I ordered a phone on Cricket Wireless on September 4th I paid through affirm. I waited for weeks never got the phone finally called canceled the order on like September 17th. Had to repeatedly call because in October they still haven't processed a refund so I'm paying for a phone I never received. Customer service is seriously lacking at one point I was on the phone on hold for hours. Here we are in November still no refund processed never got the phone and I am still paying on a phone I never received! seriously never use Cricket Wireless! #cricketWirelessrippedmeoff
Strange acting and threatening Cricket employee
On 3/5/2023 we visited the cricket store at 5141 O St, in Lincoln, NE at about 350 pm. It was right before closing time, since it closed at 4pm on Sundays.We asked to buy an older model (cheaper) iphone to replace a broken (and very old, 6s i think) phone on our plan. The man working there provided us with a phone (iphone SE), and when we asked how much the phone would cost, he told us, but did not state that it was a "bundle" price, so we assumed it was the cost of the phone.Nonetheless, he gave us a screen protector and case. And so we asked if that was included as part of some sort of 'welcome package' for the phone? And he said yes. He did not give us a choice of what phone case we might want, and did not give us the box for the case. He never told us that it was a "bundle" or gave us any choices about having a "bundle" vs. just getting the phone.Overall, we were conscious that it was after closing time by the time we were done, and grateful for the employee being willing to help u
Why can't a person cancel an online order online or after office hours?
Last night I ordered an upgrade phone to replace my existing one -- a 6 year old LG.When I ordered, I mistakenly chose the wrong $49 Samsung upgrade phone. I tried to find a Cancel Order button on the website, but found none. I tried to call Customer Service, but it was after their office hours.This morning, I received a shipping confirmation from Cricket. I called Customer Service, who told me I could order the correct phone, and that when I receive the incorrect one, to return it un-opened and un-activated, and I'd be credited the associated costs.After talking to CS, I tried to order the correct Samsung online. The order page still showed $49 for an existing account/upgrade, but in the shopping cart, it appears as $189.I called CS a second time, and was told that even without receiving/opening/activating the incorrect phone, Cricket now views the wrong phone as the official one in my account, and I'm therefore ineligible for the discount upgrade on trhe correct one, and that this i
I just want to say here and everywhere that I can post. Cricket has horrible customer service. I’ve had my iPhone for a month, and I just got transferred to Arkansas with my job, my phone has no service here so I called you guys for help. Well that was a joke, no help at all, except to tell me that I could continue to pay my bill for 5 more months with no service and then they would release my phone, I mean really, who would be stupid enough to do that? I am only going to be here for a few months, and was going to switch back when I moved back. Anyway, we are going to be done with your no help at all company. This iPhone will make a good paper weight I guess. Thanks a lot.
Honestly wondering why I don't find a new provider.
Honestly, the reason I joined cricket was because I needed a new phone and they offered a free one if I switched from my old provider. The service is choppy at best, the cost is pretty high, and I have had nothing but issues making payments. I have issues with autopay because every time I try to set it up “There is a problem with the server right now, try again later.” When I try to make a manual payment, it says my card info is incorrect which is false. I’ll enter it in around 8 times and it won’t go through. Chat support is a joke and only tells you to call 611 anyway so just avoid using that option. I called 611 about my payments issues and they basically said “sorry, we can’t help you. call your bank.” So that was another 30 minutes of hold time that I sat through for nothing. I will be looking at other options for phones. This is just absolutely ridiculous.
Yes, I have been a customer with Cricket for many years. My phone was stolen August 2022 and I had to purchase another phone. I had wanted to keep the same telephone number but the man that stole my identity was accessing the Ion I purchased. I went back to the Cricket store and since I had no insurance, I had to basically get the cheapest Motorola phone possible. My number was changed to 662-782-6379. I had to get a Motorola pure G. I was told that I was eligible for an upgrade February, 2023. I wanted to get an IP hone but was told that since I was already a customer, I would have to pay full price. I have had some problems with this Motorola and I would love to upgrade but I cannot pay 499.99 for a telephone period. I am checking prices in the app for a Samsung and they are out of my price range. Sim Swap Fraud- Refusal to Help
On Monday May 22nd my phone network went down at 1132am. I am the primary acct holder and have 3 other lines besides mine. All 4 lines lost network connection. I am a delivery driver and was using my maps when it happened. So I went to a McDs for the WiFi to see if maybe there was a down tower or something. As soon as I hooked up to WiFi I started getting all these notifications from my email that someone tried to access my Amazon, Google and Bank accounts. Then one from Venmo telling me my acct password was changed. Then 2 from affirm about the loan request I wanted. Then a couple from Paypal showing payments (this is how they accessed my bank acct). So I immediately run to my bank and they shut my card down but another charge had already come thru. So I'm out over $400 at this point. Next I go to my local cricket store, where over 3 days I spent 8 hours. The manager was as helpful as possible but she could only do so much. Very Upset With Cricket Wireless
I have held an account with cricket for about 5 years - with a 5 line family plan. I have paid on time every month and I have never had issues. This past May my family and I moved to the Florida Panhandle (we established our service in Tampa). Since moving, our reception is spotty or non-existent. After several calls to customer service and many visits to the local cricket store, no one can help me fix this BUT they are all quick to suggest I buy something else from them. I have purchased new SIM cards, had our phones reset, you name it - all in a week - with no results. This is very disappointing and as soon as we find another company, we are taking our business elsewhere.
Im NOT getting text notifications when i make a payment?
I used to get text notifications when my bill was due and when I paid my bill. Now I don't get any. How do I add this back on? I need the notifications to remind me because I get so busy I forget to make a payment.Thank you for any help on this.
Supervisor lied to me - How to report a bug to someone who can fix it
Shirley R., a supervisor, just lied to me in chat. There is a bug that is keeping me from buying a phone online. I've waited 24 hours (several times), I've tried a different credit card, and I've contacted my credit card company. The problem is at Cricket. She told me that she would "escalate it to our digital team so that they can look into it." When I asked her when, she admitted that she had no way to contact them. She lied to me! The only way this bug will get fixed is if someone lets your firm know about it. Instead, your folks lie. Sickening!Who can I contact at Cricket that can resolve some programming bug that is stopping a long-time customer in good standing from buying a phone with a perfectly good credit card? Is it common practice at cricket to charge the customer for your mistakes and poor equipment. I switch my service less then a month ago had to call customer service as soon as I got home from the store. For the last 2 weeks I have been jumping thru every hoop you guys have given me, even took 2 days off work to try and get this resolved. The 2 choices I seem to be left with is either pay for a new sim card, that I have already for once and not received in working order, or I can send my phone in and be without a phone, that I paid for along with service that I'm not receiving, for at least 2 business days. Is this your version customer care? And where is this appreciation your site is boosting about, 20th birthday and we would like to thank you. I would of rather you kept your appreciation if this is what it looks like
I want to brag on an employee name Jonavieve. The other day my husband called to get my daughter’s phone turned off. She’s 12, you know how it is. Well instead of just suspending her service, he said the phone was lost. When I called to get it back on Jonavieve said she had to get a ticket and it would be up to 10 days. She did get it back on right then, but said it was still on a block list, and could be cut off again. I want super happy, but was fine with it. We got off the phone and she called back just a couple of minutes later. She said since her shift was over, she was able to stay and research it some more. She was able to get it off the block list, and she wanted to let me know we wouldn’t be having any more problems. She was super nice and helpful, and she stayed at work a few extra minutes to see what else she could do. What a great employee!! She’s a keeper! (I have her employee number if you want it.)
My cricket phone is not working. Your towers in Mecina Ohio have been down since about 1:30 AM on March 19, 2020. They were sketchy and in out the day before. This is the worst possible thing you can do at the worst possible time. Your employees in the store lied and sId your engineers would have it back up in a couple hours that was 11.5 hours ago. I have a Mother in a nursing home who is very ill and it was her 85th birthday. Since they are on lockdown with Corona Virus isolation, she needs to be able to call me for support. You ruined her 85th birthday because I could not call and also could not get the nurses reports on her current health. You did not put anything on the news about it, you did not email us or in anyway let us know. You did this this summer fot 5 days knowing the towers would be down with no communication to customers. They hired an 18 year old still in school. And some girl name nicki. Nicki has been calling the boss every time this highschooler turned around. Snitching and lieing. Boss won't listen or watch cameras. Boss fired highschooler because she left in the middle of sale. SHE LEFT TO GET TO HIGHSCHOOL and had already stayed past her time and was going to be late. Boss won't listen to her about this other girl being ride to old people and not helping them with their phone and refuses to make a sale to poor people (her words). Or the cussing in the back room while she is on her phone and there is customer in the store. No she won't listen cause it's the kids being dramatic but she will listen to the little pot head that's always stoned off her ass and refusing to wait on customers or lies about being a cop.
I set up monthly payments to be taken out on the 3rd, but Cricket takes the payment out a day in advance. Why?? Also I was charged twice for the month of August for my payment. I can't seem to talk to a person, I'm getting the run around and it's starting to piss me off. I've had to call 4 times to get my payment date changed to the 5th OMG WHAT A HASSLE & IVE ONLY BEEN WITH CRICKET FOR 1 MONTH. Is this something I have to look forward to every month on payment day. I HOPE NOT! CRICKET REFUND 1 OF MY PAYMENTS ASAP
Upgrade a line and use old phone on a new line
What I have now:Line 1 with Phone ALine 2 with Phone BLine 3 with Phone CWhat I want after:Line 1 with Phone D (New)Line 2 with Phone BLine 3 with Phone CLine 4 with Phone A (Previously on Line 1)Do I need to fully complete and activate the upgrade on line 1, then come back and select "Bring my Own Phone" for the new line? Can it all be done in one shopping cart transaction?
