I recently bought a new Samsung A14 it cost me almost $300 now I live in Mexicali which is in Mexico where I'm supposed to have service ok now it did work maybe 3 times to make calls to the U.S. so I got upset and went back to the cricket store where I purchased the phone and tried to get my money back because I wanted to switch to TMobile but I was a day late so no refund now I explained what the problem was and the rep explained to me what I needed to do so since I needed another phone I did the transfer my number and got a new phone only to have the same problem which I still paid almost $100 for activation fee and taxes and so on so now I'm stuck with two phones that I have to pay $90 a month for service that doesn't work what can I
i have little to no upload speed or even a stable conetion anymore on hot spot i can game online video chat or even watch youtube at even 360p with out lagging out im not happy and need help speed test showing 0 to 0.02 mbs download speed if fine when it works is the tower near me damaged or what ?
Hi Crockett, How are you? My phone and my husband’s were hacked for a second time. The first involved my husband’s phone only with a Zelle transfer. The second involved both our phones with a large wire transfer and access to our bank info. After reading the Crockett forums, this seems to be common. Given I reside in Mexico, cannot call on my phone and have been locked out of my online account, how do you recommend I fix this? Also what steps are cricket taking to minimize this? One hack and loss of money is too much. Twice is unacceptable.
Because of Cricket not wanting to provide me with my phone records, I am about to loose my job.Cricket wants a subpoena in order to release my phone records and to get a subpoena is a long and expensive process for which I don’t have the money nor the time, I need these records now within 15 days.A life long career with a good company down the drain just because I can’t provide my phone records.Thank you Cricket. Be warned, watch out, if you ever find yourself in legal issues where you need your phone records quick, you will be screwed with Cricket.
Why is it that after being a responsible customer for so long, there are no discounts for upgrading your phone? They charge the amount they sell for everywhere. Not to mention, I haven’t upgraded once in three years. But new accounts get a $300.00 discount.I understand new accounts are important but most of those new accounts are due to your current customers word of mouth.Current customers and their history should account for something with upgrades, shouldn’t they?
I lost my phone on a train in Germany yesterday and have two pressing issues:I cannot access my Cricket account because I have forgotten my username/password and have no phone for things to be texted to. At minimum I’d like to cancel the autopay feature. I have ordered a new cellphone but would like the same number as my old phone (I have no idea how to do this).I would greatly appreciate any help! My number was ported out by scammers and fraudsters from my original provider “Hello Mobile” and opened a fraudulent account with Cricket. Now when i call Hello Mobile, they are telling me that Cricket does not want to release the number back and close my account, So i reach out to Cricket and i notified them that this account is fraud and scammed, they respond to me, to go to my original provider.I feel like a ball being thrown around from one court to another. Should Cricket know that they are having a scammed account that was created by scammers on my name with my number.
On Monday May 22nd my phone network went down at 1132am. I am the primary acct holder and have 3 other lines besides mine. All 4 lines lost network connection. I am a delivery driver and was using my maps when it happened. So I went to a McDs for the WiFi to see if maybe there was a down tower or something. As soon as I hooked up to WiFi I started getting all these notifications from my email that someone tried to access my Amazon, Google and Bank accounts. Then one from Venmo telling me my acct password was changed. Then 2 from affirm about the loan request I wanted. Then a couple from Paypal showing payments (this is how they accessed my bank acct). So I immediately run to my bank and they shut my card down but another charge had already come thru. So I'm out over $400 at this point. Next I go to my local cricket store, where over 3 days I spent 8 hours. The manager was as helpful as possible but she could only do so much. So i upgraded my phone & ordered me a new phone via online. My account is now saying "Order Pending" & won't let me do anything. I'm frustrated because we're wanting to upgrade my wife's phone too but can't due to this issue. Any suggestions or help? I did receive my phone today btw but have to go in store to activate it. I can't do it online which is frustrating.
I am visiting my mom in China now. My plan is the $30 per month - 5 GB plan. (The plan was purchased in the USA ~ 3 years ago. I keep use it for more than 3 years now.)The due day of my monthly payment is the 21st day of every month.But I can not log in my cricket account on my laptop in China. I can open most of the cricket webpages in China. But I cannot log in my account. So yesterday I woke up to a text message from Cricket saying “Changes were made to youf Cricket account.” So I logged in but it didn’t say what changes, and there was nothing looking off. I figured it was a mistake.Then this morning, I woke up to emails from my bank saying that my password was changed, and a Zelle recipient was added, and they attempted to drain my bank account. Thankfully my bank flagged it and didn’t allow the transaction through. I called the bank and realized I had no phone service. This person accessed my Cricket account, sim swapped my number, and used it to access my bank account.I called the bank on my husband’s phone, and as I was on the line, an alert from Google popped up on my phone asking if it was me trying to log in. I definitely wasn’t.So I called Cricket and they told me it was a sim swap. But other than suspending the phone number, they won’t do ANYTHING. Yes, I have been a customer with Cricket for many years. My phone was stolen August 2022 and I had to purchase another phone. I had wanted to keep the same telephone number but the man that stole my identity was accessing the Ion I purchased. I went back to the Cricket store and since I had no insurance, I had to basically get the cheapest Motorola phone possible. My number was changed to 662-782-6379. I had to get a Motorola pure G. I was told that I was eligible for an upgrade February, 2023. I wanted to get an IP hone but was told that since I was already a customer, I would have to pay full price. I have had some problems with this Motorola and I would love to upgrade but I cannot pay 499.99 for a telephone period. I am checking prices in the app for a Samsung and they are out of my price range. I bought a phone last summer with Cricket. I used Affirm to make monthly payments. I received the phone and didn't like it. I never used it. I promptly requested a return. I sent the phone back in the time allocated for a return. Since then, every time I call Cricket asking about my refund, it seems that there are many excuses. I've been transferred to different departments and sometimes back to the same department that I had already spoken to. Now, I'm still paying for this phone through Affirm because they have never contacted by Cricket. The last time I called Cricket, I was on the phone with them for 2 and a half hours. When I was supposed to be transferred to Affirm through Cricket along with the representative from Cricket to clear this up, he was no longer on the call. This was supposed to be a three way call to confirm the refund. As of today, I have paid 296 dollars. Now do I need to contact the Better Business Bureau and a lawyer. This is ridicu
See commercials on tv for free phone's for switching...Why the hell dont y'all have free phone's for loyal customers who have been with you for year's even though sometimes customer services sucks..Some store personal sucks and rude...About ready to switch to another carrier..
So let me make sure I understand you. I am not asking to see actual text messages or listen in on a call. All I want to do is from time to time view ( my 4 teens) call and text logs. Which is extremely easy to do with other carriers. And its an important thing to do if your a parent who cares. But now that I switched to Cricket wireless I can not do this??? Yet I was just looking through this blog I just signed up for. Wow the information you provide for that is unreal.
