My wife and I have been using Cricket for a number of years and I don’t have a single complaint. The service has been great. The purpose of this post is more of an observation than anything though. My parents were with Tmobile and interested in switching to Cricket as Tmobile coverage is a joke. My dad called me up, said he spoke to the representative from Cricket and that I could get some kind of referral credit. I thought it sounded good so I met my parents at the Cricket store. I mentioned the credit to the employee working and she asked me to enter my pin number. What neither myself or my parents realized is that she was adding them to the account I share with my wife, which is not what we wanted. I helped my parents choose a couple phones and the store employee got them set up. Next day, I’m at work and suddenly my phone has no service. I’m thinking “oh boy, they must have messed something up.” I went to the Cricket store to find out what was going on. It couldn’t have been a lack
I will be traveling overseas to London later this month and will have my Galaxy S8 with me. What, if anything, will still work while I am in the UK? Specifically, will I be able to make phone calls, send/receive text messages via roaming cell network? What about via wireless internet? Will I at least still be able to access the internet, or does my phone essentially become a brick outside the US, Canada, and Mexico?
I was referred by my friend and got the following email.Following the instructions on the email, I signed up for the cricket service. After receiving the SIM card, I activated my service online. However, when I tried to enter the referral code received bu email, it says I am not eligible. I contacted Cricket customer service, but they said that I need to purchase my plan via a special link, which is not mentioned on the email or online. I was so disappointed: I followed every step on the intruction that I received, but I still can’t get the referral credit. I DEMAND TO KNOW THE U.S. CODE OF LAW, THAT CRICKET WIRELESS IS REFERENCING, WHEN THEY TELL THEY CUSTOMERS THAT THEY HAVE TO OBTAIN A SUBPOENA, IN ORDER TO ACCESS THEIR CALL &TEXT LOGS, ON THEIR OWN ACCOUNT?I WAS TOLD BY A CRICKET CSRep THAT THIS SUBPOENA DEMAND IS A CRICKET WIRELESS ...POLICY. THE LAST I KNEW ABOUT U.S. LAW, IS THAT ANY POLICY NEVER OVERRIDES THE LAW, AND ESPECIALLY CONSTITUTIONAL LAW!!AND CRICKET WIRELESS HAS NO QUALIFIED IMMUNITY, THAT MAKES THEM EXEMPT FROM COMPLYING WITH U.S. CONSTITUTIONAL AND FEDERAL LAW! SO, BY ... WHAT BUSINESS RIGHT AND WHAT U.S. CODE OF LAW, GIVES CRICKET WIRELESS THE AUTHORITY TO DENY THEIR ....PAYING CUSTOMERS... THEIR PRIVATE, INFORMATION, ON THEIR ACCOUNT, THAT CRICKET WIRELESS IS BOUND BY LAW TO COLLECT AND MAINTAIN??!! IF I DON'T GET THE ANSWERS TO MY QUESTIONS, POST HASTE, I'M TAKING THIS MATTER TO MY STATE REP., SENATOR TED CRUZ, THE U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE AND THE U.S. CONGRESSIONAL OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE FOR CELLULAR COMMUNIC
Got a txt msg from cricket last night about the EBB program. Filled out the forms and then got a confirmation txt from cricket. Then On top of that, no more than an hour later they terminated our service, (Even though we were paid up and the bill wasn't do until 6/17) They also changed our monthly plan and now says we owe them $95-- to reinstate our phones. Even though we are have paid and they shut us off a week early and won't credit or refund us the money for the week they are stealing from us. Been on the phone on and off for over 8 hours today with no results, no help and being disconnected after sitting on hold from anywhere from an 30 minutes to an hour supposedly being transferred to a supervisor.... This is getting ridiculous with the stunts they are pulling with the billing. Like a few months ago double billing our card for two $95 payments for the month. Told us that they don't do refunds, that it would be credited, but come time for the next months bill they made us pay a

We have five members of the family, five lines with cricket. They only let 3 of us have upgraded phones. The other two family members are stuck with their old old phones ! We get this message at checkout: We cannot ship to the address you entered. Looks like you've reached the maximum number of orders allowed for one address.

I have a data only plan. My SIM card is in a security camera that is mounted 30’ up in the air on a telephone pole. I cannot access it, at least not without renting equipment to get me up there again. I am not able to create an account on Cricket or load the Cricket App since all requests for a password are texted to my device, which is inaccessible. Therefore, I cannot manage my bill or do anything else. It seems that Cricket support cannot add a new phone number which I can actually get messages on, nor do they send emails or even paper mail. How am I to manage my account if I cannot access it via the website or app?Cricket support has said that I need to pull my SIM card and put it into another Cricket phone to receive the messages to create my account. Frankly, if I have to rent a lift to pull my SIM card, I will be doing so to replace their data plan with someone else’s. Also, I don’t have another Cricket device and live far away from any Cricket stores. So, if I need to get up th
