I have 3 lines. My uncle, who is poor, lives in SF, Calif and let his cell service lapse. I want to add his phone to my plan but want him to have a 415 or other local area code.When I chatted w/Cricket their CSR said they could only give me a number local to my current (billing) address.Does anyone know how true this is? Is there anyway to add a non-remote area code, and can they do it for an existing SIM? Or is this something Best Buy can help with? Or (I suspect not) a Cricket store local to him or me?
So I just got with cricket and to be honest. I’m trying to be happy but it’s hard. So I got 2 iphones on the 18th few days ago. I downloaded a game I been playing and all I get is buffering and lagging. Brought the phone in and the lady said I need to boost my data speed for another 20$! I’m unlimited already and I only used not even 4gigs. Everything else works fine. The game I play is clash of clans. I’m also with T-Mobile. Works great on T-Mobile. So I’m thinking I made the WRONG CHOICE. I don’t know. Just aggravating it buffers so much.. any help would be great but the lady tried all kind of stuff. I also been reading online that I’m not the only person having this issue!!
Hi,I recently lost my phone (I put it on top of my car, forgot it was there and drove off; it’s currently on the freeway, probably in pieces), I went to the Cricket store but can’t remember my pin number, which I set up few years ago and they’re saying the security question answer is invalid. Since I’m not actually typing in the answer and it’s easy to be spelled incorrectly, I’m wondering if it’s actually wrong or it’s being entered incorrectly, which is still wrong, according to them. At any rate, is there any recourse to getting this resolved? All correspondence is done through the phone which I don’t have access to and don’t remember my pin from however long ago.
So basically I’ve been with cricket for a whole year and the last 2 or 3 months I have not had service because money has been tight well I try signing into my cricket account and it tells me my account has been deactivated. I tried making a new account but it wants to send a temporary password to the cricket number but I can’t get anything because I haven’t had service. Please help.
I had the worst customer service ever. I was sent in circles and my problem was not resolved. I paid approximately $800 outright no payments for a brand new phone it was still in great shape but it got wet called insurance had to pay a $150 deductible got the new phone and the battery won't hold charge. I call the insurance company back tell the whats going on was then told its a remanufactured phone, I said now wait a minute you are telling me that my phone that was practically brand new was replaced with a used phone after I not only bought it outright but have carried insurance on that you charged me $150 deductible for and you are going to send me a used phone. OH HECK NO!! Well now my used phone won't hold charge insurance tells me it's not on them that it is now a warranty issue and I need to call you all so I did, had a long wait and was told to leave a call back number, won't loose my place in line and warranty will call me back. Hello!So I bought a cricket phone while I was in the US (because they wouldn’t let me just get a SIM) to use while I was there. Unfortunately on returning to the UK, I thought I would be able to easily log in online and close my account. Not so.SMS seems to be the only way to confirm an account and manage a phone number but of course I can’t recieve SMS outside the USA.I tried turning on WIFI calling to see if that would help, but of course when I toggled it on, I just recieved an error message saying I didn’t have permission to access WiFi calling on “this server”I just want to close the account so I don’t get charged for another month in 3 days.Any advice on how to work around this would be welcomed.
I ported my number into Cricket via phone call. The agent said he set up the free phone for me. Something went wrong and they now say I needed to do it online. Why would such a big company cheat a customer out of a free phone? They know it is a new number so why can’t they just fix it?
I was going on vacation in Europe in July 2022. I went online and added the $15 international feature to my phone plan so I could stay in contact with family I was traveling with.. When I got to Europe my phone did not work at all. I tried to contact Cricket using my laptop to access my account but was not able to access Cricket when out of the country. When I returned from Europe I contacted Cricket requesting a credit of $15 which I had paid. After being on the phone for about 45 minutes talking to someone that didnt have a clue what I was saying I was informed that there was not going to be a credit issued because that service is only to call international from USA and if I wanted to call from out of the USA I should have bought a SIM card...which I would have done because I really needed to be able to use my phone. This info was not in the info on the website. I also stopped into a Cricket store in New Hampshire to confirm that I only needed to add the $15 feature to my account. Af
I would love to find an attorney to resolve this small issue for thousands of dollars maybe then you wouldnt go around taking from the ones who dont have it to give. i need my account reopened, i want my money and the account reopened someone needs to call me 2513746321 asap or im going to find someone that will legally help me resolve this issue
Im about to file a class action lawsuit over Cricket if there isn’t one already. I’m suppose to have 3 lines, $30 each, then i receive EBB assistance, yet my account online shows that i have 1 line on the unlimited and more plan and the other 2 on the core plan. Which has my bill at $153. It was $108 after the EBB payment. I had to do bridge pay so i could have an extra week to get ahold of someone to fix it because im not paying for something that i did not sign up for. Well i tried contacting them and i either can’t get ahold of anyone, im disconnected, or im told there is an issue with the systems. I try changing it online and it says i already have that plan and features. Then i tried to get bridgepay extended and it said there was an error. My phone was shut off last night and ive been on the phone or online chat since 10 This morning. I was disconnected 3 times, on hold for over an hour before i got through to someone higher up and then was disconnected again. I finally got throu
I chatted with a Cricket tech this morning regarding automated emails about changes to my account. On Cricket’s website, under Account Settings>Manage Emails… It states:To unsubscribe from promotional emails, select Save. Note: You will still receive automated emails about changes to your account. As I told the tech, I do not receive automated emails when account changes are made. I upgraded my data plan this morning. If I access the Cricket website or Cricket app, I can see the change took effect. However, I did not receive an email notifying me of the change. As the website states, I should still receive automated emails about changes to my account. I do not. This needs to be addressed for, if nothing else, security concerns. As I told the tech, if my account were compromised, and changes were made without my authorization, I need to receive emails so that these issues could be immediately addressed. Hi Cricket, It has come to point where i have been calling and chatting with customer care.There seems to be a issue in ur website which cancels the orders ppl are tired of ordering online please fix it .I have ordered a dozen times till now and there is no success. So here I sit on a hotspot writing this.. I have The EBB and it's active it even shows that I'm enrolled in it on my account but yet I'm told I have to pay 65$. Bc there's. 5$ activation fee. Like am idiot I payed for bridge pay on day 1 that I lost my service bc I figured they would have figured it out by now. But I've been on the phone with with there phone reps about a dozen times and I went to the store had them call and there even asshats to there own team members so F them and I hope there kittin dies in there arms while watching yet another video of long dong Johnson and his Texas tunnel and I also hope the crack dealer is out of dope when they need there fix. I bought a brand new phone from cricket online store. From the first minute trying activate it they screwed it up, gave me two accounts, double charged me, etc. Thought they finally figured it out and was happy for 3-4 months with my BRAND NEW, PURCHASED FROM CRICKET phone. Then they say it has been reported lost or stolen. I'm the only one who has touched this phone since I got it from cricket. I've called support multiple times, their only solution is to go to the store, but I bought it online. I spoke with the warranty dept. and they said its not even reported stolen on their end. Cricket is blocking my service for absolutely no reason and i'm still paying the bill. Absolutely ridiculous. They are advising me to buy a new phone. If anyone buys me a new phone its gonna be f**king CRICKET!
Hi in December I upgraded my phone to icon2 what a big mistake that was. About a month or two I had to send my phone back because I was having many problems with it. Now my problem has turned in to a disaster to the point I can't even open and play a game.Please help when I try to open an app it closes right away. When I try to open my cricket app it also closes. A box keeps popping up saying cricket is trying to stop and close app. This started happening when my phone installed new software update. I can't even play a game. It's obvious this phone ICON2 ISNT working and no matter what in settings a cricket representative tells me to do it isn't working. I have had many problems with cricket and I say to the Representatives that I'm going to change providers. Cricket doesn't try to keep there customers they say right away ok want us to cut your service off now?
