I bought my 1st cricket phone December 28 2021, with an offer for 1 yr Sam's club membership. Never received any txt or email with that info or codes. I went to my local cricket store this week and the KID working there said "oh yeah, they stopped that". I said I don't care if they stopped that, it was part of the pack I PAID for when buying into cricket phone service, period. He stated " yeah, lots of people are mad about it but sorry lady". WRONG, I want what I was offered. This is obviously a scam. I'm VERY dissatisfied with Cricket thus far for various reasons and I am telling everyone I know in our small town to steer clear of Cricket. They make promises to get you in but no follow thru. I am the sole owner of this device from day one and never had it on another carrier. I have been with Cricket wireless for several years.Just yesterday my IMEI number got blocked for supposedly being reported as Lost or Stolen. Spent near an hour with Chat and was basically told that the only way for an IMEI number to get blocked is to either call my carrier (Cricket) and request that my IMEI number be blocked or log into my account and report it there.So I did no such thing and I am somehow blocked. They it can take 3 t o 5 days to get my phone unblocked. Further into the conversation I was told that it most likely a system glitch on their end. They said that they could submit to have the IMEI unblocked but there was no guarantee that it would stay unblocked until the unblocked request went through which can take 3 to 5 days.So my IMEI was unblocked for most of the day and then I get a TXT message saying, "Cricket here! We couldn't remove the device with IMEI ending XXXXXXXXXXXX
Does Cricket just… Not like money? I’ve been fighting for an hour to upgrade my phone. Between it continuously bouncing the amount I owe between $500 and $965, declining my credit card on their website, PayPal, and Google Pay, giving me a ‘kountSessionID is required’ error, and saying “our servers are struggling today”, I’ve given up.It’s been a while since a website was so bad I’ve considered switching providers altogether. I’m done jumping through hoops. Anyone else know how to resolve this? I’ve switched browsers, cleared my cookies - hell, I even went on incognito so there WERE no cookies to clear - and nothing. I’m getting tired of this. I just want to upgrade my phone and I shouldn’t have to jump through hoops and use cheat codes to figure out how.
i've asked before but i got different answers from everyone. anyway, my parents have my phone under their cricket acc since they pay for my phone and stuff and yeah. i know they can see the numbers i've called and texted but 1.can they see the contents of the texts2.can they see my search history and websites i'm on even if it's a private browser3.can they like see anything else? thanks
I ordered a new phone 5 days ago under the understanding that I would receive it within 2 business days. I dropped the phone that I have and busted the screen up so badly that it cuts my fingers when I try and use it. I work at a local hospital and go in at 4am in the morning so the parking lot at that time is still dark and is secluded. I like to have my phone out and ready in case I need to call for help. Unfortunately my new phone has never arrived. It is now 5 days later and still no phone. The money was taken out of my bank account for the phone but the phone was never shipped. I got an e-mail saying it had been shipped and received a tracking number but when I track it on UPS the message says that they are awaiting the package and I will receive more tracking information once they do. We have two iPhone XR phones on our account and we are getting messages that they need to be upgraded for the 5G switch. We do not wish to upgrade these phones at this time, plus they are still for sale on the Cricket Wireless website. Are they still going to be functional after February?
My phone broke 12/28/21. I went in to my local cricket store and was told since i qualify for the 3g upgrade i could get a phone for free. My account had been suspended bc i took my sim card had popped out when the phone fell. After my account was restored, the Cricket store manager tried to set the phone up it showed i had to pay full price. This happened twice, at 2 different stores. I called customer service new years eve. I was told that yes, i qualified for the free phone which was the moto stylus BUT at the same time the phone wasnt showing as being free. I was told it might be because cricket had just updated their system which may have been why that was happening. I waited til January 2nd to try to get this resolved. After waiting over 20 minutes, i was told that i DID not qualify for the 3g upgrade. After i was told by 3 different people that I DID QUALIFY, suddenly i don't qualify. I have never had a problem with Cricket and I've been with them since 2009 however in our area for some reason it's been about 2 months to 3 months where no one in my family plan gets service! After 2 months I have had nothing but issues with cricket, my app has not worked in over a month since Nov 27 2021 I have applied for EBB got approved and it still hasn't been fixed where I get discount on my bill my phone got shut off on 6 of Dec granted cricket did make it right and got my service back up but here it is due again and Sill not fixed
Any advice on ways to unlock my phone?I'm a cricket customer for years, I have an LG V30 thinq, I have had the phone for Six Months as of two weeks ago.I'm going on a trip to Japan on Thursday, I have called into Cricket everyday for the past 2 weeks trying to get my unlock code and all they tell me every time is "We have created an urgent ticket for you, we don't know why we can't get your unlock code"I have talked to dozens of people and supervisors and they all give me the same answer. I'm really worried I'm about to go on my trip and have no access to my phone for travel.Any other solutions? I have gone to three different Cricket stores in town and they all say "we don't unlock phones in store" despite the Cricket website saying they have the ability to do so.Where do I go from here??I sent messages to both the Facebook and Twitter accounts and I have not received a response yet.
Filed a damaged phone claim. received phone, activated it. now getting the run around that it is listed as “lost or stolen” and the phone needs to be taken off the “blacklist” from Asurion. Two cricket agents told us they could not take our number off the blacklist only Asurion could do that. Transferred to Asurion y a cricket agent…. Asurion has NO control of the blacklist and we needed to contact cricket… cricket is now closed cant talk with rep (after hours apparently) and the chat is offline even though it is 10pm est it states they cant chat after 11pm est… go figure!! Called Asurion again, agent wants to send us new replacement phone for the replacement phone we activated yesterday… Most ridiculous customer service I have ever dealt with. Will be looking for new service when we return from our vacation. Yes, we have wasted precious time dealing with this crappy service. Will not recommend cricket unless something is resolved ASAP!!
Had a problem with my wife’s phone, voice mail was not working correctly and we needed additional storage space. Took phone to local store, there were 3 other customers in the store and 1 clerk, who was trying to service everyone at the same time. I explained my issues and without even looking at the phone, she said the phone was old and could not be fixed and I had to buy a new one, and this one is the one I needed to buy. I asked for a model that was simple to use, but that request went right over her head. Asked if ALL of the photos and messages would be transferred over and was told yes. She transferred data, but not all as I was to find out later, she gave me the phone and a bag and said thanks. No intro to phone, I spent 2 hours sitting in the store trying to understand the phone. Had to figure out how to turn it on and off, answer the phone. When I tried to place a call I found the number for the phone was not correct, she had entered my number and not the number of my wife’s l
I can log onto my account from my laptop, my phone, and my tablet but I cannot log in from my desktop. I have tried Firefox and explorer all I get is the error message that I cannot log on to my account and to contact customer care. I did this and the call was escalated and they told me there was a problem with the web site. This has been going on for more than a week. Is there something I need to change on my desktop to get this to work?
Got a txt msg from cricket last night about the EBB program. Filled out the forms and then got a confirmation txt from cricket. Then On top of that, no more than an hour later they terminated our service, (Even though we were paid up and the bill wasn't do until 6/17) They also changed our monthly plan and now says we owe them $95-- to reinstate our phones. Even though we are have paid and they shut us off a week early and won't credit or refund us the money for the week they are stealing from us. Been on the phone on and off for over 8 hours today with no results, no help and being disconnected after sitting on hold from anywhere from an 30 minutes to an hour supposedly being transferred to a supervisor.... This is getting ridiculous with the stunts they are pulling with the billing. Like a few months ago double billing our card for two $95 payments for the month. I just bought a new device directly from Apple and transferred my service from my other Cricket device. I’ve been with Cricket since February 2015. I brought my own device to Cricket each time I upgraded. After this last transfer, I found out that Cricket has locked my device to Cricket, because I do not meet their criteria for unlocking. The criteria are that you must have had service with Cricket for at least 6 months, you must not be committing fraud with the device and you needed to purchase the device from Cricket. But, Cricket allows customers to bring their own device, it doesn’t say, but if you do, it will be locked to Crickets service forever. I brought in an unlocked device that could be used on any network, I’ve had service with Cricket for almost 7 years (which I believe makes me a pretty loyal customer). The first phone I brought to Cricket was not locked, now this second device is locked to Cricket and before I knew all of this I just activated a brand new unlocked
