On Tuesday evening, March 12, I ordered a phone upgrade for my wife's phone. After concluding the payment and getting the receipt, Cricket confirmed that the phone would be shipped the next day and would arrive on March 14. My credit card provider notified me that my charge had been posted. On Wednesday I never received a tracking number but waited patiently. On the day of promised delivery, I still had no tracking information, so I went to the Cricket site to the "Track my order" page, where it said my order was still being processed. I waited. The next moring I got an email saying my order had been "delayed", yet the tracking page had not changed, that my order was still being processed. I then began the horrific process of trying to contact someone who could look up my order and give me some explanation of why there was a delay. Instead, I was blocked by a "chat" service that did not understand a single question I asked and only offere
My phone was reported lost or stolen. It must've been an error because I have the phone with me. I talked to an online rep twice yesterday and both times they sent me to my store where I bought the phone. I was told that they would have to reactivate the phone to take it off the lost/stolen list. Both times I went to my store they said it was fine and that since it was active now (the online rep said they could reactivate it, but it would turn off again shortly) they told me that the phone was fine and that they were a franchise store and that they didn't do that. I have been with Cricket for a few years, but over the last month it has been nothing but trouble with that store. When I went to get an upgrade, the employee told me that since its over 6 months, I should get a free or very reduced upgrade to the phone I picked. When we got to the counter he told me that he was "Incorrect" and that "I'm new so I forget these things", after which the other employee called him "boss" and told
Hello,I just recently purchased the Moto G 7 Supra from Cricket and the phone came preloaded with the mycricket app but it just won't work.I updated it to the 2.7.2 latest version but it never opens or even lets me get to the log in screen. If I down grade to the previous version, I can get to the login screen but after inputting my name/phone number and password, it goes to another screen where it looks as though it shows a activity/progress bar, but then nothing happens and I can't log in.What's weird is that I can download the mycricket app to another one of my unlocked phones not using Cricket's service, and I can log in just fine, but a phone bought from Cricket and preloaded from Cricket doesn't work.I would uninstall it and reinstall it but there doesn't seem to be any way to do that.Anyone have any ideas as to what I could try? Thanks.
My brother had an account with Cricket but he recently passed away. I called to see about getting a refund as they had only debited his account 2 days prior. They allowed me to change his pass-code and pin, but their company policy does not allow refunds. Obviously, its not the amount of the charge, but the policy of not returning any unused portion of his fee. Perhaps they need that money to stave off bankruptcy. It's hard enough trying to deal with business after my brother's death, but now I'm just disgusted with having to deal with them.So buyer beware about the fine print.
I recently purchased a moxee hotspot device from walmart and went to set it up, I was told to add it to my existing account, I would be charged the $55 for the month of data and that I would NOT receive a credit for the 20 days I wouldnt have it on the current billing cycle I have, so I asked if I could set it up on its own account which the rep did. I want to be able to monitor the data usage so I can get a gauge of what I am using, figured doing a mycricket account would be the best bet, I would also like to be able to just log on and check the billing info ie. what card and all that as well When I go to set up the new account, it wants to send a text message to the number they gave me for the hot spot, which I did, however having tried 3 different times, I do not receive a text message in the settings where I can see on the hotspot device, I have even tried to text it from my own phone and still nothing, I have tried to power down and reboot, even as far as a factory reset and stil
I think I may have found a bug on your website for the Phone Number Transfer section.I've tried three times to place orders with Cricket and transfer my number from Verizon. Your website keeps asking me for the Verizon Account Number, Pin and last 4 digits of the SSN. Each time I placed the order, then order got cancelled with zero explanation.Today I got so fed up that I went into the Cricket Store, told the manager what's going on and he was able to get my phones and my numbers transferred with no problems. The difference is that they only needed my Verizon Account Number, Pin and ZIP CODE, not the last 4 digits of the SSN.Therefore you guys need to change your website so instead of asking for the last 4 digits of the SSN, it asks for EITHER the last 4 digits of the SSN or the Zip Code.Hope that helps.
So for the last 3 months I have recently found out that my phone has been using anywhere between: 2 to 4 GB of data around the same time(s) (3:30AM and 10:20AM). This shouldn't be possible, because I am asleep and all my apps are turned off and all the settings for the apps only use Wi-Fi.After noticing this, I decided for the last several weeks to not only close out my apps, but to put my phone into airplane mode and then turn off my phone before bed. To my dismay, this seems to have no effect. The report still saying that I am using data somehow even though there should be no feasible way this is happening. The only thing I can think of is Cricket wireless has an issue with their data usage tracker or a data hacker got a hold of my information and is now scalping data from my account. I have tried to contact customer support from Cricket, but was told that "my phone was on, the data was being used, and that the system is accurate and it's on me". I'm honestly at my wits end. It's be
I need to upgrade the phones on my account but can’t afford full or upgrade price. I found out you can get burner numbers to port on eBay to create a new account. My plan is to get 3 phones and use on my existing account. Is this against cricket policy?
When trying to order a new upgraded phone on my account I get the following error message from Cricket. “Looks like you’ve reached the maximum orders permitted for this address. Sorry about that!”. This error message has come up with the last 2 phones I had upgraded. Waited at least 2 days and was able to order. I have 2 accounts through cricket 6 lines, I have ordered and spent at least $500-$800 in the last 2-3 months upgrading all of our phones. For the last phone we are wanting to upgrade and pay almost $500 for this phone. I have contacted numerous times through the cricket chat, to no help. They say to go incognito, which doesn’t work either and last person told me to wait at least 1 week and try again. ?????????????Sounds like cricket doesn’t even know how to fix their problems, or want money. I tried to go to the local store, guess what, they don’t even carry that phone. Really? How do you get new customers, if you don’t carry all of the phones you offer, especially a
I am trying to upgrade 3 of the phones on my account and am having major issues with my online account and app. I am trying to take advantage of the sale that ends today, 12/1/19, and have been trying since Friday morning (now Sunday). I went to the store Friday and the associate told me that I could purchase the phones online instead of waiting in line in store. They told me that I just needed to make sure and checkout separately for each individual phone line. I then made an attempt to do this Saturday morning. I purchased the first phone with no issue, but then when trying to purchase the second phone the system tried to get me to add a line and would not let me purchase any more phones for the other lines. I then contacted customer service and they said I had to add each phone individually to the cart and then check out. They cancelled my original purchase so I could make the new one. Once that was done, I opened my app and saw that I
On July 25, 2019 I woke up with no Cricket Wireless cell phone service. My cell number was stolen! They managed to get past my PIN and my security question?? Within minutes, I start receiving emails that someone was transferring money out of my online bank account. I also started receiving notifications from Credit Karma about inquiries to my credit bureau file. I went to the Cricket store and I had to buy a new SIM card and they were able to get my number back to me. During the 4-5 hours someone else had my phone number, they were applying for credit cards and loans in my name. For the past week, I have done nothing but call credit card companies and banks to issue fraud alerts, change logins, passwords etc. I was able to recover the several thousand dollars that was almost stolen from my account. Because my cell number was compromised, law enforcement recommended I change my cell phone number. So I had to go in the store and ADD a second line
I hope my question is put in the right place, if not I truly am sorry but I don't know what to do. My husband and I got cell phones and cell service from cricket. A lady talked me out of getting the phone I want because I am moving to Moriss New York and I wouldn't be able to use it without wifi. So I asked her about my Moto G7 Supra. She told me that one would work in Moriss. Well I started to move into my home and it doesn't work, I have No cell reception and I am very upset. This phone and everything cost me 300 bucks and the lady lied to me.I tried everything I could think of to make sure I wasn't wrong but I rebooted it and checked the data and everything and nothing. I don't know if I can file a complaint since we got the phones a bit over a month
I noticed that Cricket Wireless does a slick move by scrubbing the internet of any google or other reviews. Why is that? I called yesterday to inquire as to how another line on my account could change my PIN and I tried to speak to a manager yet was hung up on twice. I finally started collecting names, Jorge, Michael and finally Carla who claimed to be a manager. Carla provided less than acceptable support. I asked her how I can file an official complaint and she said "You cant, Im the person in charge and there is no one above me". I spent my morning investigating other carrier/plans and will be changing this month. As well, I shared this experience with 4 others who were considering changing to Cricket.
