refunds upon death of owner
My brother had an account with Cricket but he recently passed away. I called to see about getting a refund as they had only debited his account 2 days prior. They allowed me to change his pass-code and pin, but their company policy does not allow refunds. Obviously, its not the amount of the charge, but the policy of not returning any unused portion of his fee. Perhaps they need that money to stave off bankruptcy. It's hard enough trying to deal with business after my brother's death, but now I'm just disgusted with having to deal with them.So buyer beware about the fine print.

I had the worst customer service ever. I was sent in circles and my problem was not resolved. I paid approximately $800 outright no payments for a brand new phone it was still in great shape but it got wet called insurance had to pay a $150 deductible got the new phone and the battery won't hold charge. I call the insurance company back tell the whats going on was then told its a remanufactured phone, I said now wait a minute you are telling me that my phone that was practically brand new was replaced with a used phone after I not only bought it outright but have carried insurance on that you charged me $150 deductible for and you are going to send me a used phone. OH HECK NO!! Well now my used phone won't hold charge insurance tells me it's not on them that it is now a warranty issue and I need to call you all so I did, had a long wait and was told to leave a call back number, won't loose my place in line and warranty will call me back. Phone upgrade issues
I am trying to upgrade 3 of the phones on my account and am having major issues with my online account and app. I am trying to take advantage of the sale that ends today, 12/1/19, and have been trying since Friday morning (now Sunday). I went to the store Friday and the associate told me that I could purchase the phones online instead of waiting in line in store. They told me that I just needed to make sure and checkout separately for each individual phone line. I then made an attempt to do this Saturday morning. I purchased the first phone with no issue, but then when trying to purchase the second phone the system tried to get me to add a line and would not let me purchase any more phones for the other lines. I then contacted customer service and they said I had to add each phone individually to the cart and then check out. They cancelled my original purchase so I could make the new one. Phone Number Port Bug
I think I may have found a bug on your website for the Phone Number Transfer section.I've tried three times to place orders with Cricket and transfer my number from Verizon. Your website keeps asking me for the Verizon Account Number, Pin and last 4 digits of the SSN. Each time I placed the order, then order got cancelled with zero explanation.Today I got so fed up that I went into the Cricket Store, told the manager what's going on and he was able to get my phones and my numbers transferred with no problems. The difference is that they only needed my Verizon Account Number, Pin and ZIP CODE, not the last 4 digits of the SSN.Therefore you guys need to change your website so instead of asking for the last 4 digits of the SSN, it asks for EITHER the last 4 digits of the SSN or the Zip Code.Hope that helps.
Move a phone number to a phone I already own?
I am considering upgrading my current phone and want to then use my current phone to replace a phone on another line that is older and doesn't work very well anymore. Is that still considered an "upgrade" for the other line that would require a $25 charge, or is there a way to move it without any charges? I checked and unfortunately the old phone uses a larger SIM card than my current phone, so I can just simply swap cards.Thanks!

I want to speak to a supervisor I want a supervisor to call me immediately I am sick and tired of filing complaints to your terrible service you guys refuse to fix the issues and you have stolen $70 from me and I have proof from my bank account as well as text messages from you guys. This is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced in 17 years and I can wholeheartedly say that without being overly dramatic. I wish with every fiber of my being that I could report this company to the police and show in a court of law with documents from my bank and text messages from your company from the people who have helped me stating how much I would be charged in detail exactly for what I was asking for and for what I was paying for and how your company continues to overly charge me money even after I've made my phone payment. no calls or texts!
All of a sudden my phone quit all texts & calls. It says Mobile Network not available. I try to set up wifi calls and it says wifi calling setup was unsuccessful. No Service on top of screen, then scrolling on top of screen is emergency only! Also wifi calling setup was unsuccessful! Why did it all stop?
How is it possible I'm using 4gb of data every night when it is in airplane mode and turned off??
So for the last 3 months I have recently found out that my phone has been using anywhere between: 2 to 4 GB of data around the same time(s) (3:30AM and 10:20AM). This shouldn't be possible, because I am asleep and all my apps are turned off and all the settings for the apps only use Wi-Fi.After noticing this, I decided for the last several weeks to not only close out my apps, but to put my phone into airplane mode and then turn off my phone before bed. To my dismay, this seems to have no effect. The report still saying that I am using data somehow even though there should be no feasible way this is happening. The only thing I can think of is Cricket wireless has an issue with their data usage tracker or a data hacker got a hold of my information and is now scalping data from my account. I have tried to contact customer support from Cricket, but was told that "my phone was on, the data was being used, and that the system is accurate and it's on me". I'm honestly at my wits end. I bought a phone line using my existing phone but to get a new number I did all of this with a bring your own phone SIM card activated the account with my debit card then literally lost my phone now I'm struggling to get a phone on my service that I don't have any information for except the credit card they bill every month for $50 and have no way to recover suspend or anything for this account so $50 two months in a row now I have not been able to use any phone on this account because I don't know the account number or the phone number
my wifes phone is reported lost or stolen and want work
I’ve been a cricket customer for over 10 years.I have 5 lines on my plan. Just recently I had lost my iPhone went to the cricket store went through the insurance process got me a new phone. Some how cricket instead of marking my phone as lost or stolen they marked my wife’s phone as lost or stolen. They turned my wifes phone off I’ve called cricket numerous times they will turn it back on then about 30 minutes later right back off . They have told me asurion is the one that marked it lost or stolen and asurion tells me cricket does. I don’t care who does I want it fixed I shouldn’t have to keep calling both companies they should work it out between them. This has been going on for almost a dang month now. My wife needs her phone hell the school tried to call her to tell her our kids was getting out early do to ice and couldn’t reach her on top of that she slid off the road on the way home and couldn’t call me for help luckily I’ve got a suspicion about things like that and went to look
Unable to Pay on Website
Does Cricket just… Not like money? I’ve been fighting for an hour to upgrade my phone. Between it continuously bouncing the amount I owe between $500 and $965, declining my credit card on their website, PayPal, and Google Pay, giving me a ‘kountSessionID is required’ error, and saying “our servers are struggling today”, I’ve given up.It’s been a while since a website was so bad I’ve considered switching providers altogether. I’m done jumping through hoops. Anyone else know how to resolve this? I’ve switched browsers, cleared my cookies - hell, I even went on incognito so there WERE no cookies to clear - and nothing. I’m getting tired of this. I just want to upgrade my phone and I shouldn’t have to jump through hoops and use cheat codes to figure out how.
Cricket Number Transferred Without Permission
On July 25, 2019 I woke up with no Cricket Wireless cell phone service. My cell number was stolen! They managed to get past my PIN and my security question?? Within minutes, I start receiving emails that someone was transferring money out of my online bank account. I also started receiving notifications from Credit Karma about inquiries to my credit bureau file. I went to the Cricket store and I had to buy a new SIM card and they were able to get my number back to me. During the 4-5 hours someone else had my phone number, they were applying for credit cards and loans in my name. For the past week, I have done nothing but call credit card companies and banks to issue fraud alerts, change logins, passwords etc. I was able to recover the several thousand dollars that was almost stolen from my account. Because my cell number was compromised, law enforcement recommended I change my cell phone number. So I had to go in the store and ADD a second line
looking to get new customer pricing for existing account
I need to upgrade the phones on my account but can’t afford full or upgrade price. I found out you can get burner numbers to port on eBay to create a new account. My plan is to get 3 phones and use on my existing account. Is this against cricket policy?
