How to find out if service is down in your area

I am not able to get phone service out in Deer Trail. Is there a way to check and see what area is without service? Who do I notify about this problem?

At the point of tears

My phone broke 12/28/21. I went in to my local cricket store and was told since i qualify for the 3g upgrade i could get a phone for free. My account had been suspended bc i took my sim card had popped out when the phone fell. After my account was restored, the Cricket store manager tried to set the phone up it showed i had to pay full price. This happened twice, at 2 different stores. I called customer service new years eve. I was told that yes, i qualified for the free phone which was the moto stylus BUT at the same time the phone wasnt showing as being free. I was told it might be because cricket had just updated their system which may have been why that was happening. I waited til January 2nd to try to get this resolved. After waiting over 20 minutes, i was told that i DID not qualify for the 3g upgrade. After i was told by 3 different people that I DID QUALIFY, suddenly i don't qualify. I broke down and cried because this is ridiculous. Ive been bullshitted for almost a week. Has

cricket app not working

After 2 months I have had nothing but issues with cricket, my app has not worked in over a month since Nov 27 2021 I have applied for EBB got approved and it still hasn't been fixed where I get discount on my bill my phone got shut off on 6 of Dec granted cricket did make it right and got my service back up but here it is due again and Sill not fixed

locked iphone11, meet all unlocking requirements, but customer service can’t help

I’m currently stuck in a foreign country where I don’t speak even one word of the language and nobody speaks English. I am unable to use my phone because cricket locked it without me knowing. I can’t put in a SIM card from the country I’m in because of this issue. I brought my own phone with me to cricket, 100% unlocked two years ago. I’ve paid my bill on time for the past two years. I obviously meet the criteria to have it unlocked. But how can I get customer service to help??? The website wants to send me something via text. To my phone. Which is locked to cricket. While I’m in a foreign country. Yea… there’s that…. Using wifi, I talked to my daughter in the United States via fb messenger tonight. She went into a cricket store with me on messenger and was told they couldn’t help, call customer service. She did call. And sat on hold for 30+ minutes. Then a lady with a strong foreign accent that was very difficult to understand took her call. She asked all sorts of questions about the

poor instore customer service

Had a problem with my wife’s phone, voice mail was not working correctly and we needed additional storage space. Took phone to local store, there were 3 other customers in the store and 1 clerk, who was trying to service everyone at the same time. I explained my issues and without even looking at the phone, she said the phone was old and could not be fixed and I had to buy a new one, and this one is the one I needed to buy. I asked for a model that was simple to use, but that request went right over her head. Asked if ALL of the photos and messages would be transferred over and was told yes.  She transferred data, but not all as I was to find out later, she gave me the phone and a bag and said thanks. No intro to phone, I spent 2 hours sitting in the store trying to understand the phone. Had to figure out how to turn it on and off, answer the phone. When I tried to place a call I found the number for the phone was not correct, she had entered my number and not the number of my wife’s l

Why was our phone blacklisted? why the crap are y'all giving us the run around!!!!

Filed a damaged phone claim. received phone, activated it. now getting the run around that it is listed as “lost or stolen” and the phone needs to be taken off the “blacklist” from Asurion. Two cricket agents told us they could not take our number off the blacklist only Asurion could do that. Transferred to Asurion y a cricket agent…. Asurion has NO control of the blacklist and we needed to contact cricket… cricket is now closed cant talk with rep (after hours apparently) and the chat is offline even though it is 10pm est it states they cant chat after 11pm est… go figure!! Called Asurion again, agent wants to send us new replacement phone for the replacement phone we activated yesterday… Most ridiculous customer service I have ever dealt with. Will be looking for new service when we return from our vacation. Yes, we have wasted precious time dealing with this crappy service. Will not recommend cricket unless something is resolved ASAP!!

Cricket won't unlock my phone

I just bought a new device directly from Apple and transferred my service from my other Cricket device.  I’ve been with Cricket since February 2015.  I brought my own device to Cricket each time I upgraded.  After this last transfer, I found out that Cricket has locked my device to Cricket, because I do not meet their criteria for unlocking.  The criteria are that you must have had service with Cricket for at least 6 months, you must not be committing fraud with the device and you needed to purchase the device from Cricket.  But, Cricket allows customers to bring their own device, it doesn’t say, but if you do, it will be locked to Crickets service forever.  I brought in an unlocked device that could be used on any network, I’ve had service with Cricket for almost 7 years (which I believe makes me a pretty loyal customer).  The first phone I brought to Cricket was not locked, now this second device is locked to Cricket and before I knew all of this I just activated a brand new unlocked

Cricket is so automated, how are unique types of issues resolved?

My wife and I have been using Cricket for a number of years and I don’t have a single complaint. The service has been great. The purpose of this post is more of an observation than anything though. My parents were with Tmobile and interested in switching to Cricket as Tmobile coverage is a joke. My dad called me up, said he spoke to the representative from Cricket and that I could get some kind of referral credit. I thought it sounded good so I met my parents at the Cricket store. I mentioned the credit to the employee working and she asked me to enter my pin number. What neither myself or my parents realized is that she was adding them to the account I share with my wife, which is not what we wanted. I helped my parents choose a couple phones and the store employee got them set up. Next day, I’m at work and suddenly my phone has no service. I’m thinking “oh boy, they must have messed something up.” I went to the Cricket store to find out what was going on. It couldn’t have been a lack

Planning to visit the UK

I will be traveling overseas to London later this month and will have my Galaxy S8 with me. What, if anything, will still work while I am in the UK? Specifically, will I be able to make phone calls, send/receive text messages via roaming cell network? What about via wireless internet? Will I at least still be able to access the internet, or does my phone essentially become a brick outside the US, Canada, and Mexico?

Wrong referring instruction results in not getting referral credit

I was referred by my friend and got the following email.Following the instructions on the email, I signed up for the cricket service. After receiving  the SIM card, I activated my service online. Online Order Cancel

I am trying to add my 5th line on my account after purchase is completed and all the port requirements are confirm order gets cancel after 20 minutes. I tried multiple times and order keeps getting cancel and this is very frustrated. Called customer service and rep suggested to wait for a supervisor to contact me back and nothing happened. Account Suspended after EBB Forms submitted

Got a txt msg from cricket last night about the EBB program. Filled out the forms and then got a confirmation txt from cricket. Then On top of that, no more than an hour later they terminated our service, (Even though we were paid up and the bill wasn't do until 6/17)  They also changed our monthly plan and now says we owe them $95-- to reinstate our phones. Even though we are have paid and they shut us off a week early and won't credit or refund us the money for the week they are stealing from us.  Been on the phone on and off for over 8 hours today with no results, no help and being disconnected after sitting on hold from anywhere from an 30 minutes to an hour supposedly being transferred to a supervisor.... This is getting ridiculous with the stunts they are pulling with the billing. Like a few months ago double billing our card for two $95 payments for the month. Told us that they don't do refunds, that it would be credited, but come time for the next months bill they made us pay a

It has been a couple of months now,I order my phone and tried to order my husband's phone at same Time til after several tries it would not work even though a MAN on the phone told me it would!!! Well I got my New Phone in 2 days Motorola g Play for $59.99!!!After I ORDERED husband's phone WAITED 10 plus Days I called everyday after first 3 days, went to Two different Cricket Stores first one really trying to help 2nd one said I messed the system up and UNTIL SOME SUPERVISOR Will take care of it I cannot get my husband a new phone ( we like haveing same phone)Which is So Wrong!!! She was rude also said keep calling to talk to supervisor But Supervisors Hang Up then are suddenly not there!!! I pay my bill on time. CAN ANYONE HELP??? or should I just change companies?
