Just another existing customer trying to get a new-customer deal. I’m looking into the iPhone XR from cricket, but its over $100 more as an existing customer. I plan on getting a cheap $15 prepaid line from T-Mobile, and porting that number over to cricket to get the iPhone. Then cancelling both the cheap tmobile line and line I used to get the iphone, and inserting my current sim. Has anyone had any experience doing something like this?
So I have been a Cricket customer for 7 days...and I already regret it! I signed up my family and I on a Monday. Bought 2 new phones. Wanted to buy a third but it wasn’t in stock. Had the kid order it. Came in Thursday night. Went in Friday to have it activiated...it was supposed to be $400...tried to charge me $1200. He ordered the wrong phone. Tried to blame it on me. Said if i wanted the $400 phone I would have to get it on line...but it would cost me $600. I would now be considered an upgrade...7 days later it was an upgrade...even though I never bought one to begin with. Called good ole customer service. Sat on hold for 13 minutes. Got hung up on. Called back. Waited on hold for 12 minutes. Was on the phone for 40 minutes just for the guy to nicely tell me there was nothing he could do. What kind of jacked up company is this? Oh...and there aren’t any contracts...but don’t try and use the phones you just paid outright for. They’re locked to Cricket for 6 months.
On our way back from vacation, our phone lost connectivity. Nothing out of the ordinary for Cricket but after a couple hours, i did become concerned. So I contacted Cricket that stated both my wife and I had their cell phones ported to another carrier. They've been investigating for seven days now. Seven! What that really means is they hope i just go away. Today, i woke up and my Cricket phone was wiped clean. Cricket obviously sent a signal to it. Which wiped out my historic data/texts. And all pictures/videos. So, i said enough of this BS and filed a BBB complaint. Not that it will do anything. Is it too much to hope for a giant meteor taking out Crickets HQ?
What is going on? Cricket you have really dropped the bomb. I have been online for an hour and half waiting to chat with a sales expert to purchase new phone and port in number. I called and received a live person within 3 minutes but for some reason I can chat online and they can't help me with online purchase. I am fixing to find a new provider. #verydisappointedcustomer
Ok, Need to get a decent hotspot connection up and running for one month. Would need about 40GB of good speeds (5Mbps minimum Down and Up). I live in a good coverage area according to map. Since Cricket is prepaid, could I purchase the hotspot device and a plan for only one month? Then just cancel the account?
Last post I saw about Cricket not supporting changing the outbound caller id name was in 2018 and I can't seem to find anymore information about it. Is it supported now? If it is, where can I find instructions on how to change it? If not, does cricket ever plan to change this?
We switched over from Verizon to save some money. I’m a truck driver and coverage is important obviously. Overall it’s ok but there are two routes I drive that have NO COVERAGE.Evanston, WY ALL THE WAY TO Laramie, WY (I-70)AND Page, AZ ALL THE WAY TO FLAGSTAFF, AZ (Hwy 89)I had coverage along these routes with Verizon and Crickets coverage map shows these areas to be 90% covered. And it hasn’t gotten any better over the last 6 months. Using iPhone 7plus If you can’t fix this we’re switching back to Verizon Thank you.
My son received a new phone for Christmas and saw that T-mobile and Cricket accepted his new phone for phone service, so he decided to use Cricket. We paid for his SIM card and monthly fee online and waited for the SIM card to be delivered via mail.On the day that it came, he followed all online directions and we discovered that Cricket wanted us to pay more money. Since we had just paid everything only two days ago we weren’t going to pay more. So we called the customer support center and waited. Unlike other companies that call you back if the are lengthy wait times, Cricket does not have this feature, so we had to stay on the phone for over 19 minutes until someone could take our call. This person was “Mark”, who was working from his home Country of India. Now I personally have nothing against this, except that I feel that something got lost in translation between Mark and myself, because he told us that out new phone was not compatible with Cricket. Strange, since we checked all of
So for the last 3 months I have recently found out that my phone has been using anywhere between: 2 to 4 GB of data around the same time(s) (3:30AM and 10:20AM). This shouldn't be possible, because I am asleep and all my apps are turned off and all the settings for the apps only use Wi-Fi.After noticing this, I decided for the last several weeks to not only close out my apps, but to put my phone into airplane mode and then turn off my phone before bed. To my dismay, this seems to have no effect. The report still saying that I am using data somehow even though there should be no feasible way this is happening. The only thing I can think of is Cricket wireless has an issue with their data usage tracker or a data hacker got a hold of my information and is now scalping data from my account. I have tried to contact customer support from Cricket, but was told that "my phone was on, the data was being used, and that the system is accurate and it's on me". I'm honestly at my wits end. It's be
Cricket wireless Is a bunch of low life FUCKING THIEVES!!!! I bought one of their new phones and they refuse to either import my number or activate my phone with a new phone number, its been over 4 weeks and the lying fuckers keep saying the same thing, ”it will be imported by tomorrow at 3pm” and of course it never happens, and one of their customer service people even told me I’d have to buy another $30 to $40 dollar plan in order to activate my cricket wireless phone with a new phone number, so they’ve already gotten around a hundred dollars from me without giving me any service and then they actually want more money! FUCKING THIEVES!!!!
Today Cricket suspended my account for being 1 day late on a $10 charge. My autopay did not update to reflect the change, nor was I notified that I had a $10 balance. I run a business and my husband needs to be able to call his work. I need reliable service. I will be switching carriers as soon as I find one.
This is never ending. I am on autopay yet I woke to no service because I am told I have a balance of 15.00. No explanation and since I am on autopay it makes no sense. I did upgrade to a plan with more data but was never asked to make a payment. Then to top it off, I was charged 4.00 fee to apply a payment. Why would this happen?
I just got this message from okeymonitoring. It noticed a change in sms routing. I'm also experiencing issues receiving texts. Cricket support is closed. Any idea what I can do?OkeyMonitoring was something I signed up for a while back and just forgot about it. It informs you when someone is possibly trying to intercept your texts. What worries me now is that I'm only receiving texts intermittently. I'm really hoping this is some sort of glitch and someone isn't trying to access my accounts using 2FA. I don't want to login to change this if my texts are really being intercepted. I'm asking my family to send texts and I'm only getting maybe 1/4 of them?
My phone has been acting weird for the last week and a half or so.. When I make a call it either says "emergency only" or doesnt let me complete a call due to "airplane mode being on" I check the settings and it doesnt show that it is on.. I switch it just to be sure any how (from on to off) and it didnt work.. Restarted the phone.. Took the battery out etc NOTHING IS WORKING. My texts wont send.. Can't call or recieve calls.. It is weird. My service keeps going in and outWhat do I do?
