No phone, no pin and wrong security question answer

I recently lost my phone (I put it on top of my car, forgot it was there and drove off; it’s currently on the freeway, probably in pieces), I went to the Cricket store but can’t remember my pin number, which I set up few years ago and they’re saying the security question answer is invalid. Since I’m not actually typing in the answer  and it’s easy to be spelled incorrectly, I’m wondering if it’s actually wrong or it’s being entered incorrectly, which is still wrong, according to them. At any rate, is there any recourse to getting this resolved? All correspondence is done through the phone which I don’t have access to and don’t remember my pin from however long ago.
