Non Cricket customer, unlock code help

I recently bought my phone (Stylo 3) from someone who was sent to prison. I havent been able to contact him to get any info on unlocking it so I can use it. Any way I can unlock this phone and use it since I paid for it?

Hello @Tracey075! Welcome to our Cricket Community Forum and thank you for the post. Cricket requires that customers have at least 6 months of active service with Cricket before devices are eligible to be unlocked. Before we can review the device tenure, customers will need to provide us with the device IMEI that wish to unlock along with the Cricket phone number that was used on the account.
