Online Order Text Notifications

I’m wanting to order a phone from Cricket for someone on my plan as a Christmas gift. It would just be an upgrade for their line. My question is when you upgrade online will all phone numbers on the account receive a text about the upgrade? I want it to be a surprise and don’t want this person receiving a text that their line has been upgraded. Help please. Thanks!

Thank you for reaching out.  There will be a text notification about payment but it does not say anything about an upgrade.
