Can't believe this scam is still going on since last year. My phone was ported out, reported this incident but have been taken in circles by customer service and store associate/managers, they don't know what to.
I have never given away my PIN nor written it anywhere and use it only when calling customer service which i have not done in months.
Got a message from Cricket that there were changes made to my account.
Soon after that i had no service.
Hackers got in my bank account which happens to be the same one i use to pay Cricket
Hackers got in my email and reset my passwords for my back account and made zelle payments. (i used the same email)
Hackers applied for a paypal, got approved for credit and used the card online.
How can this go unnoticed, this sounds like a script. They do the same exact thing.
If not an inside job, tell me if this an external hack and how they got access to the PIN. Did the number get ported out to another company? if not why is it showing another user which means its still with Cricket. If this number is still with Cricket why was it made available as though no one owned it and in that case, makes it a coincidence that the user who got my number is then involved in the illegal activity that transpired.
You have exposed my Social Security number when i trusted you to protect me a customer.
A case was opened when i pleaded with them to investigate as they were telling me to get another number. Please get in touch with me as soon as possible to resolve this issue.
