Spam texts and phone calls

I am getting between 10-20 spam texts and about the same number of spam calls every single day, morning, noon and night. When I called customer service, they wanted me to download the HI-YA app. However it's $25 a year and I think it's b.s. To have to pay that. I have had the same number for the last 20 years. HOW IN THE HELL DO I MAKE IT STOP???? If I can't, and have to resort to changing my number, I'm just gonna go with another provider.

Hi @Neesa1416

We're sorry to hear about your experience with spam. Unfortunately, this occurs with every carrier, as it is coming from outside sources. please keep in mind it is important to not respond directly to a spam message, doing so alerts the spammer that the number is genuine, instead you should report the spam message so that the source of the spam can be investigated. Please visit the link provided, to fill out a brief report, and our spam response provider will take appropriate action.

For spam calls, we introduced Cricket Call Defense, which can assist with identifying spam calls, and automatic fraudulent call blocking if you are using a compatible HD Voice device. You can learn more about Cricket Call Defense with the link provided:

I'm having the same problem and have found no solution. I went to the link provided and it does not work. I'm referring to the link for reporting spam. Has there been any solutions found in this problem.

Johnnybgood. I have not found a solution. I am not gonna use the report spam form that cricket wants me to use because I am not going to enter 100 (or more) different numbers and messages. That's ridiculous. But, I am so done with these calls and texts. Have you found a solution since your message to me?

Jdor, there is no possible way I am gonna use the spam report for each individual text\call. That's ridiculous. Would like another solution please.
