I want to move my number to my new Google Fi phone, but the process keeps failing. Is there something on the Cricket side I need to do?

You don’t need to do anything on the Cricket side, but just make sure you are providing the correct account number and PIN to Google Fi. If you are unsure, probably a good idea to call Cricket to verify that information. If information is correct, then try to contact Google Fi to see why port is failing with correct info.
