Unhappy w/ phone purchased w/ service

I recently enrolled with Cricket Wireless (last Friday). Signed up for the $55 unlimited plan and got the Moto Play. Before purchasing the phone the sales associate asked what id typically be using my mobile device for and I replied with " Mainly for gaming" The Moto Play is what they recommended and what I walked out of the store with. After just hours off using the device it became clear to me that it his device is certainly not suitable for gameplay. I looked online at the cricket website and discovered several other phones that I could have and should have been offered instead of the Moto Play. I was not. I know I should have researched before the purchase instead of afterwards, but I was under the assumption cricket employees would point mebi. The right direction. Is there anyway that I can exchange this device for a different one?

Wireless devices purchased from a Cricket Store can be returned or exchanged at the same store where purchased within seven (7) calendar days of purchase. If you like to return or exchange the device, we would suggest visiting the store where purchased as soon as possible with everything the device came with for further assistance.
