I set my phone down a lot, but when i go to pick it back up, there seems to always be some sort of advert on the screen. Now, ive checked and stopped all events running in the background, yet the phone still does it. Kind of annoying, and puts strain on battery life, especially when youre working and cannot manage your cellular phone 24/7, as the screen lights up when these ads pop up, and it wont turn off unless you dismiss the ad.Why is this? I pay you guys for service, i pay for my cell phone, yet, you guys still find it necessary to run ads? Like, just now, whule typing this post, an ad popped up for "Wish" i dont need Wish, i dont like the app, but itll keep on doing it over and over again. Its relentless and annoying. Its making me very dissatisfied with your company.
I would like to know how to file a complaint through the corporate office the number that they have keeps ringing busy and every time you talk to one of the customer service representatives and ask them to get you to check over to someone they hang the phone up on you when you ask for a supervisor or anything so I need to reach someone to file a complaint and have someone to listen to those calls because this is ridiculous
On 8/19/19 a hacker gained access to my cricket account somehow. They changed my password then ported my phone number away from my sim card. I do not know how this happened, but i have read that this occurred with other cricket customers. At this point they accessed all my bank accounts and paypal account using text verification and "forgot passwords." They began to transfer money out using the zelle p2p functionality. They also tried to gain access to my email account, but failed. I have had to freeze all online accounts and reset my account numbers. They only way I was able to recover my phone number was to purchase a new sim card and then have it ported back in. When I explained the situation to cricket customer service no one could explain how this could happen to me or understood what i was referring too. Again, I have read multiple reports of this happening to other cricket customers. Order of events. Received text no
I am the sole owner of this device from day one and never had it on another carrier. I have been with Cricket wireless for several years.Just yesterday my IMEI number got blocked for supposedly being reported as Lost or Stolen. Spent near an hour with Chat and was basically told that the only way for an IMEI number to get blocked is to either call my carrier (Cricket) and request that my IMEI number be blocked or log into my account and report it there. So I did no such thing and I am somehow blocked. They it can take 3 t o 5 days to get my phone unblocked. Further into the conversation I was told that it most likely a system glitch on their end. They said that they could submit to have the IMEI unblocked but there was no guarantee that it would stay unblocked until the unblocked request went through which can take 3 to 5 days.So my IMEI was unblocked for most of the day and then I get a TXT message saying, "Cricket here! We couldn't remove the device with IMEI ending XXXXXXXXXXXX
I am having difficulty upgrading my son’s phone. I am on the Account Summary page, but there is no option to select a number or upgrade. I am given an option to add a line. But nowhere in the website do I have an option to upgrade. I have gone into the store and they sent me to the website. I went on chat and they were unable to help me. I tried it on Android, IOS and Windows devices.Dio you see the option to upgrade presented to you on your account?
So this port out stuff has been going on for me since 9/17/19. Wake up one morning no service on 1 of the 3 phones we have with Cricket. Call Cricket immediately when notice this at 8am. Cricket opens a case for this. I have called over 10 times, I document it every time. NOT ONE PERSON AT CRICKET HAS CALLED ME WITH A UPDATE. I filed a complaint with the FTC. Whomever stole my number had one of my credit card mailing address changed to their address in my name to out of state where they live. They are using your PORTED OUT NUMBER TO ACCESS YOUR CREDIT/BANK ACCOUNTS. So when the credit card company that has your phone number on file sends you a text to make sure it is really you to do these changes, the scammer tells them. Discover card told me that when they started to ask security questions the call mysteriously drops. I had to put a fraud alert on all 3 credit card companies. Cricket I have

On October 2, 2020, my phone stopped working. I went to my nearest Cricket store and was told my number had been ported to another carrier. After reading the many posts on this forum, this scam has been going on for over a year at least. Cricket is not addressing this problem. My information on my account had all been stolen, my user name, my password, my pin, my secret questions and answers. I am the ONLY one that has access to this information.. Same scenario as others, ported out to a tracphone through Smart Talk. Smart Talk gets no permission yet they won’t release my number after given proof of my existing account with Cricket Wireless. This needs to be a class action suit! After searching the internet, it is happening all over the country to many. I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau and FTC. People affected by this are without phones for weeks and months while criminals have access to their email, store accounts
I can make calls and send texts but I am not receiving calls or texts on 2 different phones /lines on my account and I have 16 days left before my next bill. It seems to happen mostly when my husband and I are in our house. Every once and again We will get a few texts in a row or a call but then it stops for about 23 hours for around 4 days now. I called cricket and they have no idea. I was on the phone with them for 2 hours. They had me check my volume. Really I am not showing a call coming in at all nor do I get missed calls and texts. They checked the tower nearest me and said it's fine, had us switch or SIM cards then switch them back, went through a few setting things, and it's the next day both phones/lines are still doing it. I have an LG phone and my husband's is a ZTE.Sometimes I'll get like 3 texts from 8 or more hours ago. Please help!! Any ideas????
are you ever going to fix your sign up? it's been almost a year since this problem has cropped up and absolutely nothing has been done about it. I shouldn't have to turn off my wifi (and sometimes even my data) on my PHONE just to be able to sign in. i've already talked to customer service over the phone when this issue first popped up for me and they were overall unhelpful.i understand that due to covid things might be a lil short staffed here and there but i feel like fixing your sites login is literally vital to your company and its customers. you should focus on that. :/
Hey there. You guys locked my phone for 6 months without being upfront about doing so. I just reviewed every cricket location within 200 miles and let EVERYONE know how sneaky you guys are. Planning on broadcasting it on Facebook, Twitter and instagram as well so nobody else gets screwed since you guys wouldn’t unlock my phone. You’re welcome.
I am considering upgrading my current phone and want to then use my current phone to replace a phone on another line that is older and doesn't work very well anymore. Is that still considered an "upgrade" for the other line that would require a $25 charge, or is there a way to move it without any charges? I checked and unfortunately the old phone uses a larger SIM card than my current phone, so I can just simply swap cards. Thanks!
Hello,I just recently purchased the Moto G 7 Supra from Cricket and the phone came preloaded with the mycricket app but it just won't work.I updated it to the 2.7.2 latest version but it never opens or even lets me get to the log in screen. If I down grade to the previous version, I can get to the login screen but after inputting my name/phone number and password, it goes to another screen where it looks as though it shows a activity/progress bar, but then nothing happens and I can't log in.What's weird is that I can download the mycricket app to another one of my unlocked phones not using Cricket's service, and I can log in just fine, but a phone bought from Cricket and preloaded from Cricket doesn't work.I would uninstall it and reinstall it but there doesn't seem to be any way to do that.Anyone have any ideas as to what I could try? Thanks.
Cricket needs to improve customer service by offering executive customer relations and/or online access to corporate executives. The current customer service is a black and tackle structure to keep customers away from solving real issues. The offshoring doesnt help customers make Cricket a better company.Customer Service: The customer service number support (611) needs to be revised to support customers with better answers. The offshoring of this support to the Philippines and Latin America doesn’t help customers. The poor representatives on the phone have no access to proper resources to resolve customer issues. Executive Customer Relations: There seems to be no executive customer relations or method to reach the corporate office with suggestions. I'm totally surprised AT&T, a company known for excellent customer service allows this to occur.
Cricket is the worst - I bought a new phone last week - only because the one I had purchased 6 months earlier stopped working due to Cricket changes. This was a phone that was approved by Cricket as a good phone 6 months earlier by checking the IMEI number on their web site!!The phone purchases last week went relatively wellTrying to buy/upgrade another phone and Cricket just keeps telling me there are credit card issues. They keep telling me it is not their issue and I should call the bank. I called the bank three times - they said there were no issues - I even contacted the fraud department and they verified that a transaction came thru and it was approved and they gave me the approval code.Trying to work thru the issue with Cricket and they won’t do anything. They just end the chat when they feel like they have told me enough times that it is the bank problem. Tried to call a couple of local Cricket stores - the said they don’t have the phone I want - I should call other stores.
My whole family has cricket wireless and we are all getting group text messages that are porn spam and they are coming from a gmail address as well as phone calls from out of state with someone speaking in japanese or some foriegn language and my number is registered on the do not call list. Why doesn't cricket have any way to block or report the group spam texts?
