Claim: "New old device??"

Okay so I filed a claim for my Motorola G Power 2021 which I dropped and the screen is destroyed and upon completion I noticed that they're sending me a replacement Motorola G7 Supra which is the device I had before I upgraded and got my G Power. Does it have to do with availability or was this perhaps a mistake? Will I have to upgrade again to get my G Power back?

Hey @IrateAmatsu, they do that when they don’t have your device model in stock. They have to send you a comparable device or better. I would call Asurion and see what they say b/c it isn’t up to Cricket, really. Good luck!

@MamasitaMarz, Thanks for the reply. I got the replacement Supra today and I did call Asurion, the original claim was cancelled and I filed a new one for the Power since they did have it available during the time of the original claim. I had to fill out an affidavit form and my proof of loss as well but we also couldn't figure out what might've caused the mishap in the first place. I didn't get her name but the lady who helped me out was great.
