Question

health safety risks using cellular

I am a consumer of cellular wireless but I am not an engineer or a regulatory quality expert, so my question is what are the health and safety risks to using cellular wireless? I recently found information online that explains in a graph format that cellular networks, wifi, microwave ovens are approximately 3 GHz in frequency and or wavelength of 10cm. Is this bad to the human body? I usually don't keep my cell phone on all day and only use it when needed.

I don’t know if anyone here will be able to give you an educated response on this, but from online research I have done, I am not too worried about this. It would probably be best to do your own research from reputable websites. :nerd:

Ditto, @cdexter..like anything else, it’s a personal decision, imo.

I can give you a reasonably accurate answer.

The FIRST thing that you must understand, is that the strength of ANY electromagnetic field falls off in proportion to the SQUARE of the distance from the emitter.

Applying this to your question, I cannot say definitively one way or the other, if the low power emitted by a cellphone causes brain cancer, but the risk is completely eliminated by using a Bluetooth device or a wired headset.

You don't see Police holding their walkie-talkie next to their ear anymore, the radio is on their belt, and the microphone is clipped to their shoulder.  At first, one would think this is to keep their hands free, until you realize that you have to squeeze the microphone in order to talk.

This is being written by an Engineer who has been a Ham for 60 years, and had surgery for an Acoustic Neuroma on my RIGHT side!  I blame VHF walkie talkies!  Once burned, twice smart!

H&S Risk Assessments is a systematic way of looking at an operation in construction or in any work related activity to look at two things -firstly hazards which are anything which can cause harm either to people be they workers or members of the public or to property. That could be a vast number of things from electricity to water to objects falling etc.

Secondly risk which is a measure of the chance that a hazard will cause harm, including how severe and to how many people

A aircraft flying overhead and crashing is a hazard but the risk is very small.

On the other hand working on a live high voltage line without protective equipment where the hazard is electric shock gives a very high risk of shock or death.

So the process of risk assessment is to look at all the hazards in turn in a systematic way, look at the risks. and eliminate them as far as possible https://jbhnews.com/dbol-vs-anadrol-which-is-the-best-to-really-bulk-up-fast-between-anadrol-vs-dianabol/29787/ or if they can’t be eliminated take precautions to reduce the risks for example wearing insulating clothing.

When this process is completed and some risks have not been reduced as low as possible then the remaining hazards and their associated risks should be documented.

But remember Risk Assessment is not a paper exercise.

Many scientists say that it is harmful. But humanity has been using cellular communications for a long time and no special problems have been identified. I just recently wrote about medicine, I used https://studydriver.com/medicine/ for this. And I just put in a paragraph about it. This information is too exaggerated, people like to inflate such news.

Don’t worry, it’s safety

I know that if you’re close enough to a microwave transmitter you can get literally cooked.

Taking care of our health is necessary in order to live long years. Recently I decided to try something new for myself. For example, when I found this site https://www.stress-auszeit.ch/yoga-weekend/ because it helped me to get more information about yogaweekend. It also contributes to the pleasure process.
