I bought my own phone direct from the factory.Cricket locked it! Checked my account page and called 611.APN area is grayed out also. Now I will not get my monthly security updates for an example. This is illegal! I have been with Cricket since the old days and this is the 1st BYOD you have locked.Less then a week old Motorola.Note: I do not tweet or Facebook!
I have never flashed any custom firmware or rooted this thing. I would add more details but my phone keeps restarting to this screen. Clearing cache in recovery let's it boot again but soon locks after a little use. I have no idea what's going on any help would be appreciated.just wanted to mention the cracks are on the Whitestone dome screen protector and the phone has been in a case since I bought it. It's still in immaculate condition. Update1: I have decided to reflash this myself, it took awhile but I found a June patch Odin image of the exact baseband version my phone is running right now. Unfortunately because I don't want to pay for a premium membership from samfrew.com I am stuck waiting 15 hours @ 115kb/s but it's still faster than tinychat @ 15kb/s. I used to do all rooting and romming from the early android years (Epic 4g, Epic touch 4g, note2) so I'm fairly familiar with what I'm doing. Since I am flashing official firmware with official tools there shouldn't be any s
I'm an existing Cricket customer. (like 9 years now)Yesterday I purchased a new Motorola Moto 6 cricket phone from Walmart to replace my older Alcatel phone.Everything installed and used the included new sim card.Called Cricket support to enable new sim card and registered it. All went fine, but the phone will not dial out.It receives calls fine,The internet and texting work fine. I can receive calls. But I cannot call out.No real Error message just stops (hangs up immediately) after I press dial. Can someone advise what I can do. I'm desperate.Called Cricket support and they filed a service request. They also said it would be 2 to 3 days before a tech can call me back. Ughh..So I'm without service yesterday and now today.Help..
Unlock codeHi, I have a Moto G7 Supra which was purchased from Cricket and I have had it for over 6 months with them. I'm trying to get it unlocked but I'm having problems. When I go to my online account and try, it says I must use the "mycricket app" in order to get the code. If I go to the "mycricket app" and try, it says "sorry this device cannot be unlocked.I believe I meet all eligibility requirements as I have been paying for over 6 months now and it's a Cricket phone paid in full with no restrictions that I know of.
I now have two screenshots of this irritating feature I can't seem to figure out how to disable. I'm using a pretty new LG Fortune 3, running Android version 10.What happens is, I'll be using some app, maybe scrolling or otherwise interacting with it, when suddenly, my app is pulled down to the lower 3/4, 2/3, or lower 1/2 of the screen, leaving the upper portion of the screen as black, with small print saying "tap here to go to full screen."What is this "feature" called, and how do I disable it? Thank you.
We are new to Cricket service since August, have noticed recently I am unable to send any text messages from within the default message app on my Samsung S7 to a group of people, any that contains pictures or any gifs. I've tried doing all the things I found on the internet including restarting my phone, resetting the APN settings and restarting my phone, and I checked the message center number which is 312-314-9810. It spins and spins for about 5 minutes, then errors out and says Message not sent. Can someone please help with this? Very frustrating. I had AT&T prior and did not have this problem at all. I have unlimited data on this phone and this seems to have become a problem in the last month that I've noriced.
I spend my winters in a place that requires me to get a temporary Cricket # to use the mobile hotspot to connect to my regular phone and to have internet access on my computer. Last winter I used a phone I received from a family member, it wasn't a Cricket phone but the hotspot worked perfectly. In November I got a new Cricket number and the phone also worked perfectly, hotspot and all. But suddenly since yesterday whenever I connect to my hotspot, pages take ages to upload (up to 10 min if they even upload), something I had never experienced before. Talking with Cricket customer service people it seems like their system suddenly decided to block the hotspot on my phone that was working perfectly fine. I'm extremely disappointed with them as I have been using their services without any problems until.now. As I don't want to buy yet another phone, I will have to go to another company, unless there exists a magical cure to make my hotspot work properly again?

Hi folks,So I've been tearing my hair out the last few days trying to find a solution to this sudden issue. Ever since I installed a Cricket software update a few days ago, my phone absolutely will not connect to my wifi.I've tried the Forget Network method.I've power cycled the router and the phone.I've reset all network and bluetooth settings on the the phone.I've tried turning off the firewall on my router.I've tried removing the password from the wifi connection.I attempted to give my phone a dedicated IP using the MAC address.I even went so far as to do a factory reset on BOTH the router and the phone. Nothing has worked and I'm out of ideas. Anybody have something I haven't tried? If I hadn't jujst gotten this phone at the beginning of the year, I would consider getting a new one, but that's pretty much a last resort. Thanks in advance.
So I have an unlimited data plan and I have the LG stylo 5. Everything works fine when I'm connected to my home wifi, but the minute I try to open up a game like wizards unite or Pokémon go while I'm outside, they take ages to load and don't work properly. Does this happen to anyone else? Or does anyone know what I can do to fix it?
My current phone sucks. It is an att go phone, that i purchased when my other phone broke. I had to get an att phone because the Cricket store was closed because of the coronavirus. And all Walmart had left was AT&t phones for $35 it's a piece of crap. Anyway I went online and I ordered a new phone. I did not get the one I wanted because I didn't have the money at the time. Anyway the phone I ended up ordering is the exact same phone just a different name as a AT&t phone which is a total piece of crap. I haven't even activated it yet. I want to know if i can I send it back and order a new phone and just pay the difference for my upgrade?
I just got my new cricket wireless phone, LG Stylo 3, 2 days ago and am having all kinds of problems. This post will just be about email. I tried setting up my email account and it went through but most of the time I can't send anything out and only a few emails come in. So I created a yahoo account just for trying on the LG Stylo 3 and I can log in fine with both my computers and my iPad but when trying to set it up on the LG Stylo 3, it kept telling me my sign in information was incorrect. I tried a good 10 times and each time the information was correct. I had copied and pasted the information and printed it out. Am I having major software problems? Is anyone else having problems creating email accounts? I can't move my apps around either or create folders. Please advise. Thank you, Martha
Hi All, I've been happy with Cricket for over 2 years now and my Motorola Moto G5 phone, with one exception. Whenever I send a video text or receive one, it is always very poor quality. I understand some companies throttle videos over the cellular network to various degrees. Does this happen to everyone else? Any way to work around it? Thanks!!
