I am on my second icon 2 phone after replacing the original under the warranty. The original dropped my call with roadside service 5 times while stranded on the side of the road with my child. This was the biggest of many issues and unacceptable.I was hopeful it was just that one....it is not. Terrible phone. Drops calls. Doesn't send texts. Texts not received. Apps shut off. And on and on.Funny that you can no longer leave a review on cricket for this model, and every response from them is that there is a one year warranty. Your warranty is useless when it is the model that is the problem. You need to stop selling this junk phone cricket!
I was a long time att customer and switched when a cheaper plan came to town that happened to be related to att. I should have known it wasn't going to go well. Yesterday as I'm working away my Motorola G 7 started to act strange. First no texting then no internet and so on till I don't have anything usable on my phone. A phone I paid $200 for 5 months ago. Do I called cricket today because they don't have customer service past 7 or some stupid thing. Anyway I get someone I could barely understand and she explains my phone has been phazed out. It is basically a dinosaur. No service will be available either my phone. I was shocked and asked how long did cricket know that the phone I bought would be placed out? He explained that updates and the 3g network had been planned on discontinuing for over a year that he knew of. I asked why they sold me a phone they knew would be useless in 6 months. They said because its a popular phone. I can not believe this! And no they will not give me a n
Why does the 5g network that is out now being so shitty as of recently?I go from 5g one minute to LTE then to 4g the nxt. I want to either get this fix or yall need to stop advertising that yall have the best 5g network until u can get this fix cause it messes up my game and thats the whole reason y i went with this phone is for the faster network and storage space.
So switched to cricket yesterday brought my unlocked moto g stylus with me. I can make calls and receive regular and picture messages but I seem to be unable to receive gifs. All software is up to date, I've uninstalled messages and reinstalled, set it as primary message app and still not receiving gifs. Does anyone know how I can fix this? It was never an issue on my old carrier. To clarify I can send gifs but can't receive them
This is the list of compatible Motorola phones from this link:https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/great-big-network/compatible-phones.htmlMotorola g6 Forge Motorola moto e5 CRUISE Motorola moto e5 SUPRA Motorola moto g7 SUPRAThese phones are already old! If you buy a newer Motorola phone that does support VoLTE (HD Voice) your line will be disabled, and you will need to go back-and-forth with support to get them to activate it. The T-Mobile network (includes Mint Mobile and Metro PCS) has the same VoLTE requirements but they have a much bigger list that includes newer phones.I personally bought a Motorola One Zoom, and was told by Cricket support that it wasn’t compatible because it “didn’t support VoLTE.” So I returned that phone. The One Zoom was a last-gen phone. Doing some research I saw the Motorola G7 phones were “compatible,” but those phones are 2 years old. Surely the G9 plus would be compatible, and it supports VoLTE. Nope. I purchased it, and I had to go through
I've had cricket for maybe 9 months now. About 6 months ago I got that 4 lines for 100 deal. I got 3 new cert refurb phones for 30 plus the plan. Everything was ok except that my place get awful cricket service in my room and over my buds place same thing. So six months later I no longer have 2 lines( just 2 remaining me and my son's) and without the good deal now it no longer makes sense to stay with cricket. 80 a month with awful service. So now I'm waiting for the phones to be unlocked on the website it tells you how many days you have remaining. Then something weird happened my son's phone instead of being listed as the phone that it was was listed as a BYOD device which is not the case I bought three phones at the same time all from cricketwireless.com. Eventually my phone became a unlockable and it happened without a hitch then my girlfriend's became unlockable but hers got stolen and then my son's was supposed to become unlockable but it was listed as a BYOD device. this being s
It seems that if Cricket doesn’t detect a phone as an “HD Voice” (VoLTE) phone, they won’t provision it as such. Correct?Their list says that they are “adding new phones everyday.”If the phone does support VoLTE but isn’t on their list, can Cricket flip a switch and provision it as an HD Voice phone anyway? Even though it’s not on the list?
We have 5 users on our account the phones work fine for calls and data every where except where we live.At our home data works fine but no one can reach us. it is possible to call out some times, it is time of day dependent and forget it on weekends. We always have over 3 bars even have tried a booster which made no difference.I have seen others with similar problems on this group but I have never seen a real resolution. We have gone thorough the full tech support phone call with no resolution. They opened a advanced ticket but it never happened because they could not call me, duh no one can, so they closed the ticket.Has any one actually resolved this problem ?We have been Cricket customers for 5 years with no problem, we were quite happy with the service actually, the problem started about 9 months ago. We are about out of patience and need to resolve the problem one way or another.
Its so not right for cricket wireless to make us buy only cricket branded android phones in order for wifi calling to work, but they wont brand a new Motorola phone to them, and sell it, in over 2 years, its time for cricket wireless to brand one of the new Motorola phones that were released this year to them so that us Motorola phone fans that are cricket wireless customers can upgrade from a 2 year old phone! P.s. On a side note it's also not fair that any iphone that you pop a cricket sim into is capable of wifi calling, wether the iphone is a cricket wireless iphone or not, but with Androids this feature only works with a cricket branded android??
My LG G7 ThinQ is using Android 8.0.0, Security patch level July 1, 2018. When I check for updates, it says “Everything is up to date”.There have been multiple security updates released in the past year from LG! Why are these not pushed to my device?! I’ve tried to use the LG bridge tool. I’ve contacted LG support.I can’t continue using a device that doesn’t receive critical security updates.
