Hi,First time Cricket customer.Zip code 38801Phone: Cricket Icon 3 My data only works unless I am standing in a certain room, the living room….. If I go to my bedroom Firefox *might load* the webpage, and then I might get a “page can’t be displayed message”. And then sometimes after hitting refresh 5 or 6 times, the webpage will load. When standing in the living room, my bars will go from 3 to 2 ,to 1, to 3 ,to 1 to 2, and repeat… Call Quality: No issues. I live in a VERY AT&T area.. I would say 97 to 98% of the people here are on ATT…. I only live about 5 to 6 miles outside of town in the country.Yes we have a metal roof on our house… But so do some of our other family members, I haven’t heard them complain…. but , then again I think that they’re on a AT&T contract though. Not sure…My “ 80 something year old grandmother “ up the hill from me ( basically next door) who’s on ATT Contract, her phone, all you can hear is every other word or the call drops for no reason or just g
So when Cricket made the older phones not work with their 5g, My Galaxy S8+ was no longer supported and I was forced to get a new phone. I had no choice but to take whatever phone was free because I had to have a phone for my job or I couldn't work. I picked the the Dream 5G. Because of its size. It worked flawless for 2 months then it began dropping the data connection. Every tower change it would not connect back to the data. It wouldn't drop a phone call but would never connect back to the data unless I switched data off and back on. It did this every time it changed towers and in the city that's every seconds. This went on for 2 weeks and I called customer service everyday trying to get this fixed. The local cricket store is absolutely useless with and phone issues. I filed a warranty claim, had to send in my Cricket dream 5g. Luckily I was able to borrow a LG phone from a friend and it worked great for the 2 days I had my sim card in it. Got my replacement Cricket Dream 5g today,
Anyone know how to get the moto one 5g to actually work with 5g? why is my fm tuner disabled on my new icon 3 cricket phone? purchased yesterday. i would like to use the app nextradio to listen to music/local radio while i work or do outdoor activity's. we’d love to bring you local radio,but next radio doesnt have access to the fm reciever in your device. let your wireless carrier know that you’d like to listen to free radio on your phone with next radio!
This is a Moto one 5g purchased online from Cricket on December 5, 2021. also a 2021 model. Have had service with it for 6 months. It won’t unlock with app. Inserted another sim. No unlock. Performed a factory reset. No unlock with app. Have Tried for 3 days, called 10X. 1st day they said phone could be unlocked 8 hours later. Next day got a support case#. Today they said that the phone could be unlocked after 3 hours. No unlock. Constantly receive this ERROR CODE; UNLOCK failed to generate attestation request ERROR CODE# 16781312 ENDORSE API failed. I purchased this with the intent to use it as an alternate method to access the internet. Their unlimited plan only allows 10GBs hotspot use. Insufficient. Please help unlock this phone. Provide a way for me to contact Motorola if necessary to obtain a PUK code and method to unlock the phone. CASE#- C-B7VLJO.
Hello! I have a new Alcatel SmartFlip phone on a different carrier. Thought I would take a shot with this question in this forum. I was surprised that I don’t seem to have the ability to send any emojis in texts - but I can receive them. I found an app in the Kai Store (OS is KaiOS 2.5.2) that I could download some to my phone as pictures in my gallery, so I can attach them to texts, but I get charged for the text as a “multi-media” msg (twice as much as regular text) by my carrier - I have a pre-paid monthly plan. When I receive texts with emoji in them, it’s only the regular text rate that I get charged, not the multi-media rate. So my phone reads them as regular parts of texts when I receive them, but I can’t send them unless they are attachments at twice the price. Seems odd to me. Hard to believe I don’t have the ability built in to send any emoji at all. Don’t suppose anybody knows if this phone can somehow magically be able to send emoji as part of normal texting?
I have a few questions.. in my phone in the system information and phone information it says my phone my phone's model is a u314-aa and I'm not sure what that is I have not been able to look up any help for my phone because this is not even exist when I do it on a search through you guys and I got this from from a cricket provider so I'm really confused on that. Another thing is when I did a factory reset to try to fix my phone because every time a text message or anything would come in two of them would come in and now with just a factory reset and the download of my contacts your cricket customer service number comes up about 30 times on my contacts and AT&t has all their customer service information on the contacts list as well I'm just concerned that something is wrong with the system on my phone my my buttons aren't configured right when I push one thing it pushes another and I only have this phone 2 weeks and my phone is running slower after the factory reset I haven't even d
I recently purchased an unlocked Moto G100 5G phone directly from Motorola. I verified the phone’s IMIE number via the cricket website, which said it was compatible. But when I transferred the SIM from my old Moto Power G phone (approx 18 months old) into the Moto G100 5G phone, I am only connected to the 4G network. I reside in the Dallas, TX commuting area where 5G is available. Do I need to order another SIM card from cricket in order to get my new phone connected to the 5G network? the Moto G100 5G phone did download software from the cricket network and I did reboot it both times it downloaded software from cricket. But it still remains connected to the 4G network. What else do I need to do in order to connect to the 5G network
So I have had my phone (moto g stylus 5g (2021)) since January 5th, 2022 and it malfunctioned a week ago, end of June, early July (6/7 months), so I sent in my warrenty….and got a refurbished phone!! My NEW phone didn’t last a year and end up with a refurb phone. It sucks. It didn’t come with the correct charger, and it has been dropped during shipping. Box was smashed, and they hardly put in packaging material(s). headache all around. My question is, shouldn’t you get a NEW phone if your phone is not even a year old? My phone wasn’t scratched, kept it in great shape. The phone kept freezing and going off for an hour before i was able to turn it on again. Also it got super hot, to the point i had to turn it off for a whole day. I’m highly disappointed by Cricket Wireless, because of the refurb phone for a phone that was BRAND NEW...not even a year old.
Recently I had to buy another phone. I used the sim card from my old phone, and it worked great for like a week or two. Now I don’t receive text messages from one person who is also on the same line as me. I can receive phone calls from her and group texts, but not one on one texts. I tried restarting my phone, doing a factory reset, removed the sim card and replaced it, cleared the SMS cache, deleting the contact and adding it again, but nothing works. I also checked to see if her number was blocked and it wasn’t. Any other suggestions that I haven’t tried?
I have an unlocked LG G8X Dual Screen (LM-G850QM) that is now unable to make or receive calls. Any call I try to make immediately gets the “Call Ended” message. Any calls to my phone go directly to voicemail. Anyone have any idea on whats going on? According to the compatibility checker, my phone is compatible and will still work after the 3G shutdown. It’s been working fine until today.
I am on the 3rd Dream 5g due to issues with the phone which resulted in warranty replacement. Don't think for a moment that means the company is taking care of my phone issues. The third phone is here, and has the same problems minus strange functioning "on its own" but then, it's early yet. The biggest problem is that the phone will not maintain a data signal. The result is that you cannot rely on the phone to connect to the internet when you need it. Further, while it does usually connect for regular surfing, playing my game (I have been unable to utilize my subscription) has, thus far, been impossible. I don't actually know how many movies I have watched half or three quarters of because of lost connection, and many days I have tried multiple times and at various times and just been unable to watch at all. All 3 phones have greyed out data buttons, I cannot toggle data off to save battery or any other reason. The store employees all have tried to no avail to figure out why, how to
I got the cricket 5g phone as an upgrade and it's been shutting down the and restarting since I got it home. The store won't do an exchange due to their employee breaking the SIM card tray when I was at the store on the phone they tried to give me 1st and counted that phone as an exchange. I am so upset over this so called upgrade especially after reading all the reviews on line. This phone should not even be on the shelves in the stores or considered as an upgrade. Its only obvious after seeing how many phones have had issues.
My son and I have been with Cricket for years. He recently moved and couldn’t get a signal with Cricket so he switched to another company. I had to get a new phone because they said mine wouldn’t work when they went to 4G. I recently became eligible for free phone service as I lost hours at my job. I can’t afford another new phone and Cricket won’t unlock mine so my brand new phone is useless. I am totally disgusted with this company. The person I spoke with was extremely rude and non-caring.
Title says all, for reasons I'm not comfortable disclosing, I cant leave the area I'm in, nor receive mail. I'm very very worried about trying to get a phone number set up ASAP. It's a cricket sim and a cricket phone, and it was on my mom's account at one point. She has since turned it off and won't accept money sent by me to have it turned back on.
Bought my Dream 5g online through Cricket. Received the phone 5 days ago. The thing won't charge. I use the charger that came with the phone. I've called customer service and when I explain the problem they transfer me to someone that can help. Problem is, when I get transferred it tells me they cant help and to go to the website and then hangs up on me. Anyone else having issues with charging and how can I fix it?
My cell phone is getting calls from a private number and when I answer, it is a fax machine. It has slowly increased to about twenty times a day. I tried blocking private calls but it still allows it to go to voicemail then I end up with a bunch of voicemails with nothing but beeps. How do I stop this? I tried to forward the call, I tried to send it to a fax machine, it won’t work. Has anyone ever had this? It is driving me crazy
