It doesn't matter where I am, I cannot make or receive phone calls! I can still text, surf the web, play apps, and everything else but cannot call anyone or ansser calls being made to me. What is going on? I cannot even call the Cricket service number! Whenever I make a call, it rings a few times then hangs up all on its own and says there is an issue with the network. I have never had this happen on any device before!
Old cricket Samsung stopped working all of sudden cricket support said phone hacked. Told to buy new sim card. I did, then talked into an upgrade. Purchased LG , but minutes after noticed calls over 3 mins. Other party could not understand me. 3 different calls happened repeatedly after 3 mins in call. Went back to cricket switched to Motorola. Same thing. To stay on a call with no problems I use video call with no problems. What's going on?
Using a Motorola however, have used every phone under the sun for the last several years.I was get horrible reception in my home. I would say it's because I live by the airport however I get perfect reception in my drive way.I can hear them but they can't hear me.Is there something in my house that could be the cause?I don't think the issue is anything to do with current events as it's been happening for years.
I have been dealing with a frustrating nightmare for the past 2 weeks and no one at Cricket seems to care about losing a long-time customer. I just bought a brand new phone through Cricket which has been defective and because its past 7 days the only options is for me to send it to the manufacturer, be days without a phone, only to be sent a used phone. I just purchased this phone and within 2 weeks of owning it it stopped working properly. It has been ridiculous to get through to anyone because of the COVID outbreak which has delayed me getting in touch with anyone from customer service, and because of that, me as the customer is getting penalized. I did not spend money on a brand new phone just to be sent a used phone. I will absolutely be switching providers as soon as possible, since no one at customer service seems to be able to help or even care about my situation. They have offered me absolutely no alternative or even apologized for any inconv
Today I became aware that I am no longer able to send/receive calls on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 here at home. However if I drive to the grocery store, I am able to make/receive calls just fine. This has sent me on a path today to investigate this issue and to determine what exactly is going on.Here at home we have 6 phones that are all on Cricket Wireless. Two of the phones, a Cricket S10 and S9, are working perfectly and are able to make/receive phone calls with no problems. However all of our BYOD phones (2 A50's, Note 8 and an S9+) are all unable to make/receive calls here at home.I've done all the normal steps such as rebooting and checking settings, and even went so far as to purchase a new SIM card for the Note 8, but it all came back to the same results. After spending hours on a chat with a support person, swapping SIM cards around between phones and stuff, we came up with the following conclusion:Phones that are not sold or supported by Cricket wi
I have a cricket icon smartphone 16gb and I tried to update my phone software but it only let me updated on using WiFi when I have 4g lte unlimited plan for 100.00 a month with 3 other people and I been trying to figure out how to update my phone software by using my data instead of using wifi that I can't get here how do I update my phone software with no wifi
Was posting and was cut-off. But like the lady said was simple and self inflicted. My solution? Uninstall and reinstall app..oh the prob I was having was I couldn't get a a server connection when using app. Had to Google it . Shouldn't let people share solutions. You might not have a job later! JK!
I have a 2019 Alcatel that I am trying not to loathe. I only use my phone for actual phone stuff, and to watch YouTube news programs. I also have the hotspot app so I can use my computer for actual computer stuff like research and email. I live where there is a signal (usually 3-5 bars) but NO WIFI. Which evidently is required for the automatic software updates I get. Constantly. They interrupt a news show, a text message I am in the middle of, etc. They are a constant banner on my screen when I turn it on. And I have zero access to public wifi. How do I turn off the Automatic Cricket Software Updates????? (yes, a little frustrated here) thanks :)
I can't even find a way to search for this bizarre behavior.I have had a Cricket voice mail account for many years. Callers are greeted with "Hi,<caller name>, <my name> is not available..."When my wife calls, she is greeted by "Hi, Phyllis..." My wifes name is not Phyllis! The greeting works correctly for my other contacts. I have tried changing her contact info, etc., to no avail. This has happened on three different phones I have owned over the years.I know it grabs the name from my contacts, but her contact info is not shared with a "Phyllis," or anyone else. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Cricket support?Help, it is driving my wife and I nuts.
For the past couple of months, I have been receiving text messages from various email addresses, sending links to porn sites. I can't figure out how to block these. I'd like to just block all messages from emails, since they keep changing the email address, and no one I know texts from email. Any solutions? Thanks!
I spend my winters in a place that requires me to get a temporary Cricket # to use the mobile hotspot to connect to my regular phone and to have internet access on my computer. Last winter I used a phone I received from a family member, it wasn't a Cricket phone but the hotspot worked perfectly. In November I got a new Cricket number and the phone also worked perfectly, hotspot and all. But suddenly since yesterday whenever I connect to my hotspot, pages take ages to upload (up to 10 min if they even upload), something I had never experienced before. Talking with Cricket customer service people it seems like their system suddenly decided to block the hotspot on my phone that was working perfectly fine. I'm extremely disappointed with them as I have been using their services without any problems until.now. As I don't want to buy yet another phone, I will have to go to another company, unless there exists a magical cure to make my hotspot work properly again?
Been enjoying this phone for over a year & a half without any issues. Out of nowhere, upon turning my phone on this morning, it on shows a black screen asking me to accept, "Cricket Wi-Fi Manager License" Of which, I've been trying to do so (clicking onto I Agree) the phone remains 'locked' & will not allow me to go any further. The phone rings, I can't answer it. I hear chats coming through, can't open them up to see. It remains locked onto that screen & can't or won't go further. Not sure what to do here....
I've seen others post about this. The phone keeps closing apps, like when I listen to music. I've tried it all. Factory reset. Different media apps. Power Saving options. There's no lack of RAM. There's no other options to prevent the phone from closing apps. Can Cricket please help? I don't have warranty and wasn't expecting such an issue. Please patch the phone so it doesn't close apps when not wanted. Thank you.
I have tried a long list of addresses (shown below) to try and send an email to my phone as a text message. None of these six addresses shown below work. What address (combined with my 10-digit phone number first) will email@example.com@firstname.lastname@example.org@email@example.com@mms.att.net
