I have tried setting up my voicemail, when I open it states this person does not have a voicemail set up. When I go to settings my voicemail number is mine own phone number. But the voicemail states that the mailbox is invalid. I would need the systems manager mailbox number.
[US/Mexico border issue] Ever since switch to 5g, if my Dream 5g connects to a 1 bar cricket signal just south of the US border, my connectivity is screwed
Ok, so I’ve had Cricket service since 2019. This was never an issue, really - Never mattered what side of the border I was on. My older 4g phones would effortlessly switch back and forth between ATT Mexico and Cricket, depending on proximity to the Rio Grande. However, when I got Cricket Dream 5g phones (and thus 5g), our phones will sometimes insist on connecting to cricket in the US instead of ATT Mexico while riding around in Reynosa, where we spend most of our time. It’s like getting some kind of parasite! In Mexico, the US signal is obviously too weak to work, but no amount of rebooting/going in and out of airplane mode fixes this. On other phones, like my Samsungs, I could go into network settings and choose a provider. Are there any ideas on how this might be remedied? I worry more than anything about my wife sometimes when she’s in the downtown market near the border and her phone suddenly goes US mode. To even text me and let me know she’s ok, she has to walk to the internat
My Motorola G Power decided to freeze up on me last night around 10pm. I am the type of person who clears their cache often and does daily restarts at random. Upon doing a nightly restart is when it freezes. I am currently stuck on the blue Motorola startup page being that was twenty minutes shy of twelve hours ago at this time. I am unable to enter Recovery Mode although I am able to bring up the Android Menu and proceed through their options. My service is not working after this happening, yes I paid my bill. I also put my SIM in an old Samsung that I have and it turned out to be incompatible with HD Voice. Did not know that was a thing. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix this? I will be going into my local store to inquire more information. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
I've been a customer of Cricket for quite some time. When I bought the 189.99 Dream, I also took out the insurance on it. The whole time period until now I had no problem until I broke the screen, so I called Asurion. I was informed that they are no longer replacing Dream screens which would be $29, and instead did a comparison with another phone for $75. What did I pay insurance for? I don't know what to do yet, but the insurance company also said they could give me bk my money I paid for it, which was $189.99 but get this. The $75 for the "comparable" phone would be deducted from the amount, which would leave me with $133.Before I called them, I went to the Cricket store and the man working proceeded to inform me that a company wide email had gone out saying remove the showroom Dream and do not sell anymore at all because of defects and complaints. Ever since my wife has had the Dream 5g its been one problem after another we are so sick of dealing with this we are so sick of waiting on cricket to fix this that we are past the dream 5G we would like the phone warrantied under defective device and replace with something other than a dream 5G I've read the forms and seeing that there's nothing but issues and corruption with this phone and we are to the point that we are ready to switch companies unless cricket makes this right my wife is a travel nurse she uses the phone for her work it's vital to her career it's also vital to her patience she takes care of this phone is a valuable valuable piece of her everyday life if cricket can't get it working I'm sure there's lots of companies that would be more than willing to take our money and have one working for us asap we would like a communication back from cricket and some kind of resolution to this issue because we are in need of a working device as soon as humanly possible which mean
I have a Splenda cricket phone 2 days ago maybe 3 by now, I had a software update. After that my phone is a piece of crap. When I go on my messages I can receive them.. I can view them. Then if I try to send a message when I click on the keyboard as soon as I touch the keyboard my screen flashes. Then immediately it goes away. Next up pops a box saying close app or app information every time. I have tried to get on the chat for four times yesterday last night it was a nightmare. The last person I got on there was a straight smart ass and my bill is due tomorrow and I really don't even want to pay it. The second problem is my camera does not do screenshots now it says the organization that you're with or the app will not allow screenshots what!?! It is now starting to flash on other screens & turn off.I have turned my phone on and off I have restarted it I've cleared the cache I've cleaned out storage I deleted apps, turned airplane mode on off,🤷🧘 reset the APN the chat botl
not sure if this is a phone issue or a network issue, but my husband and I have 2 lines on the same plan and for the last few weeks now whenever I try to call him, instead of ringing it just says "please enter your passcode" as if I was trying to access my own voicemail. and similarly, when he tries to call me it forwards to voicemail as if my phone was off. we are still able to text each other so I know I didn't accidentally block his number somehow. any ideas?
Ok so I been getting an error message telling me that my sim card is full. When I go to look into this...I find that my sim card is empty. Wtf. Additionally im unable to open my camera...much less take any pictures. I don't have the slightest idea how to fix either issue
So I was using my Cricket Dream 5G cell phone, which has been working fine for almost a month (I just got this as a replacement for a dream I spilled water on), and while using it the screen froze and I couldn’t back out, go to home pae or even turn the screen off, so I shut the phone off by holding the power button for a few seconds. Now it won’t come back on. I’ve tried holding the power button for 30+ seconds and doing the same with the volume held down as well. It doesn’t even vibrate when it goes on the charger. It was at least at 37% when it died, was updated to date, wasn’t damaged at all and wasn’t even running hot. All I did was shut it down once and now it won’t come back on. Plz help because I really don’t want to file another claim.
My son is a Cricket customer, and when my old phone died he gave me his previous Cricket phone, an LG Stylo 5, so I could use it with my carrier. It meets all the unlock conditions, so I followed Cricket's instructions to unlock it...about 45 times. It has to be unlocked thru the MyCricket app, and every time I do the procedure, it says Unlock Successful, please restart your phone, and boom it is locked to Cricket again. Customer service is no help, and keeps telling me to do what has already been tried,and although I have tried to get transferred or referred to tech support or customer service manager, I have been refused! I am at my breaking point on this, and as a senior citizen, this is just not fair! At a Cricket store, they removed my son's info/account from the phone so I would not have to keep asking him for his personal info, pin, password, etc. But that did not help either. When I try to enable my hotspot, I receive the error; "An eligible data plan is required to use personal mobile hotspot. Please visit att.com/personalhotspot or myAT&T to change your plan. You also may call AT&T at 611 for assistance." How do I get it to work? My phone is unlocked and compatible. I'm also on the "Unlimited More" plan.
