After many happy years using cricket as 1 of my 2 Sims in many international phones that operate on the correct LTE bands and with all the latest features, cricket suspends my line if I use a completely compatible device that's not on their very limited list. I figure there must be more people experiencing a similar issue recently as they suspend lines for "incompatible" phones, so I thought is post this.
My cell phone is getting calls from a private number and when I answer, it is a fax machine. It has slowly increased to about twenty times a day. I tried blocking private calls but it still allows it to go to voicemail then I end up with a bunch of voicemails with nothing but beeps. How do I stop this? I tried to forward the call, I tried to send it to a fax machine, it won’t work. Has anyone ever had this? It is driving me crazy
Bought my Dream 5g online through Cricket. Received the phone 5 days ago. The thing won't charge. I use the charger that came with the phone. I've called customer service and when I explain the problem they transfer me to someone that can help. Problem is, when I get transferred it tells me they cant help and to go to the website and then hangs up on me. Anyone else having issues with charging and how can I fix it?
Hi,I got my Google Pixel 6a phone today, and was super excited to try it out, but after inserting my cricket wireless sim, I got an SMS saying this model is not supported by Cricket.I got on a call with customer service, and provided them with my IMEI number, but all they said is they do not support this model.Does anyone know if cricket will support Pixel 6a or how long does it usually take Cricket to support a new device? I need to decide if I should be returning my Pixel 6a :(
My son and I have been with Cricket for years. He recently moved and couldn’t get a signal with Cricket so he switched to another company. I had to get a new phone because they said mine wouldn’t work when they went to 4G. I recently became eligible for free phone service as I lost hours at my job. I can’t afford another new phone and Cricket won’t unlock mine so my brand new phone is useless. I am totally disgusted with this company. The person I spoke with was extremely rude and non-caring.
I posted the other day about my girlfriends dream 5G which she has had for close to 2 months that has worked amazingly well, until the other day. Cricket came on here and marked the issue as resolved which it has not been resolved. We have PAID OUT MY POCKET for a new sim card when we were told that was the solution that we needed to do, Why I had to pay 10 bucks and some change for that, is beyond me. The problem we are having is the data connection will drop out every 5 mins or so and will not come back on unless you either turn the phone on and off, reset network settings, or airplane mode on and off and every time it comes back, the best we have got is 15 mins out of it. I have called the overseas tech support they use and have to go through the same damn troubleshooting steps every damn time only for them to think they got it fixed when it is still acting up soon as the call is over, I was told to submit a warranty claim on it which I followed the link in my last post and when I e
I have a Samsung Z fold 2. I have not been able to call out or receive calls for 3 days now. I've had Samsung look at the phone and they say it is a carrier issue. I've put a friend's SIM card in my unlocked phone, and hers works in my phone. Cricket can't seem to give me answers. Anyone else??
My wife’s OnePlus 8T was upgraded recently to OxygenOS 12 and she lost carrier access. We tried everything we could find after Googling the issue, but nothing worked.I looked up the Access point Name settings and we noticed that it was set for ATT Nxtgenphone, even though Cricket was an option. Setting to Cricket didn’t help, until I noticed that the APN read “ndo”, not “Endo”. I fixed that spelling error. All the other settings for the Access point were correct.Within a few minutes, her cellular service started working again.Just throwing this out in case it helps someone else.
So I got the dream 5g phone for free moving over from boost. I had a crappy wiko ride 3 that was only capable of 4g... Whatever 5g is not noticeably faster in the US from what I have read. Anyways, this is not fast at all. Sometimes it's slower than dial-up. And on the dream 5g there is no way to force 4g. So even if the phone has found good strong 4g, it will try to stay on an inferior 5g signal. Boost was cheaper and only had a 35 gig cap. After that it just got a little slow. Not as slow as this. I'm already at 22Gb because that's not a lot of data. And I have the extra plan. For a no holds bar extra plan, in a major city, this is sad. Oftentimes not really getting any service. And before anyone says try to warranty the phone, I did. This is the 2nd one. And my girlfriend also has the same phone, not over the 22Gb cap, and often slower than me. This sucks Cricket. I thought Boost was a lame cell phone company, but you have a lot to figure out it seems.
I have never flashed any custom firmware or rooted this thing. I would add more details but my phone keeps restarting to this screen. Clearing cache in recovery let's it boot again but soon locks after a little use. I have no idea what's going on any help would be appreciated.just wanted to mention the cracks are on the Whitestone dome screen protector and the phone has been in a case since I bought it. It's still in immaculate condition. Update1: I have decided to reflash this myself, it took awhile but I found a June patch Odin image of the exact baseband version my phone is running right now. Unfortunately because I don't want to pay for a premium membership from samfrew.com I am stuck waiting 15 hours @ 115kb/s but it's still faster than tinychat @ 15kb/s. I used to do all rooting and romming from the early android years (Epic 4g, Epic touch 4g, note2) so I'm fairly familiar with what I'm doing. So I have had my phone (moto g stylus 5g (2021)) since January 5th, 2022 and it malfunctioned a week ago, end of June, early July (6/7 months), so I sent in my warrenty….and got a refurbished phone!! My NEW phone didn’t last a year and end up with a refurb phone. It sucks. It didn’t come with the correct charger, and it has been dropped during shipping. Box was smashed, and they hardly put in packaging material(s). headache all around. My question is, shouldn’t you get a NEW phone if your phone is not even a year old? My phone wasn’t scratched, kept it in great shape. The phone kept freezing and going off for an hour before i was able to turn it on again. Also it got super hot, to the point i had to turn it off for a whole day. I’m highly disappointed by Cricket Wireless, because of the refurb phone for a phone that was BRAND NEW...not even a year old.
I have an unlimited data plan and I have the LG stylo 6. Everything works fine when I'm connected to my home wifi, but the minute I try to open up a game like Jurassic World Alive or Pokemon go while I'm outside, they take ages to load and don't work properly. Does this happen to anyone else? Or does anyone know what I can do to fix it?
So I just bought a phone 2 1/2 weeks ago. I walked into the store wanting 2 things. 1.) A phone with a stylus 2.) A phone with NFC. The kid who was no more than probably 20 years old told me that he had the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022). I agreed that I wanted it so he went in the back to get it and when he came back a few minutes later to tell me he did not have it but had the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G. I asked numerous times during the process of getting the phone to make sure they are both the same phones just one was released earlier according to the kid both phones have the 2 things I was looking for. I felt reassured and went on with the purchase after numerous times of him telling me this. Well guess what? My phone has a stylus but no NFC. I'm so busy running my business that it has taken me this long to set up my phone to see no NFC. Am I stuck with a phone I don't want since it's past the 7-Day return period os is there another way to get the phone I want
I just bought the LG Stylo 6 which is an awesome phone for $276 or $299 if you count the fact they charged my debit card the next day $8 for Cricket Protect and $25 for activation for total of $33. I thought activation was free on online orders. Anywho, they sent me a shipping label that has a RA number that's different from the RA number i was told to write down. So, does this mean the label RA number is for the return and the one I was told to write down and tape to the return box is for the replacement phone? The phone I received from online order has a smash back cover with is made of glass. So, does this mean I am def getting a replacement and if so are they shipping it now or do I have to wait until my phone is received back to their warehouse? If i wont receive it until I ship mine how long will it be before I get my new phone? I really need my phone asap as it's used for my business. Is getting my phone first an option? I have a Samsung smartphone that has a “do not disturb” or “do not ring” unless it’s a person in my address book or in my favorites. Great feature to avoid scammers. My mother has a flip phone and gets a lot of unwanted phone calls from scammers. Is there a flip phone that will only ring if the caller is in the phone’s address book?
This is a Moto one 5g purchased online from Cricket on December 5, 2021. also a 2021 model. Have had service with it for 6 months. It won’t unlock with app. Inserted another sim. No unlock. Performed a factory reset. No unlock with app. Have Tried for 3 days, called 10X. 1st day they said phone could be unlocked 8 hours later. Next day got a support case#. Today they said that the phone could be unlocked after 3 hours. No unlock. Constantly receive this ERROR CODE; UNLOCK failed to generate attestation request ERROR CODE# 16781312 ENDORSE API failed. I purchased this with the intent to use it as an alternate method to access the internet. Their unlimited plan only allows 10GBs hotspot use. Insufficient. Please help unlock this phone. Provide a way for me to contact Motorola if necessary to obtain a PUK code and method to unlock the phone. CASE#- C-B7VLJO.
why is my fm tuner disabled on my new icon 3 cricket phone? purchased yesterday. i would like to use the app nextradio to listen to music/local radio while i work or do outdoor activity's. we’d love to bring you local radio,but next radio doesnt have access to the fm reciever in your device. let your wireless carrier know that you’d like to listen to free radio on your phone with next radio!
Unable to Make or Receive phone calls since 06/08/22. Only getting Internet & text messages all this time.I have 4G LTE phone that Cricket confirms is compatible on the IME code. Customer service keeps saying Service issues in Los Angeles & it is a known issue with phones that have 3g & 4G & 5G capability. Reason is still unknown but Cricket “is working on it”. Visited the store, sales people said they know about the issue but no one has any answers or knows when/if it will be corrected.???? Absolutely NO information or acknowledgement on Cricket website. People need to understand what is happening , why is this such a secret? Whit is the issue & do we have an estimation at a minimum????
New Moto G Stylus 5g (2022) will not connect my mobile hotspot to brand new Vizio tv or laptop. Upgraded my phone from 3g and now it will not connect at all. My 3g phone connected flawlessly. I don't understand why this new upgraded phone will not. Made sure of the coverage area while in store. Have tried absolutely everything. System is up to date. It's not my devices. I do live in a rural area, I get 1-2 bars, I can get online, play online games etc etc, call, text altho reception is slow & I do get dropped calls at times, I've always been able to use hotspot on my tv to watch movies, videos & play games. Now my hotspot will not connect at all to my laptop, it keeps saying bad password even though it's correct. Connects for about 1 second to tv & then nothing. DHCP is enabled. Have changed AP bands, 2.4GHz, 5.0GHz which is preferred, tried with and without a password. I will be so happy & appreciative with ANY suggestions & ecstatic if my issue is resolved! 🤸Tha
