For the last 24 hours the service from cricket wireless has been snail slow. My plan is unlimited data and has been fast since I've had it. Now me and other cricket users are having such low speeds that it's unreadable. None of us are over our data limit and never had a problem during high traffic. What's going on and are you guys fixing it?
New phone, new SIM--how to switch while keeping existing Cricket account and number?
I have a new Android phone and I have a new Cricket Wireless “Universal SIM Card Activation Kit” ordered from Amazon. I want to simply insert the new SIM into the new phone and activate it on my existing Cricket Wireless plan/account, replacing my existing one and maintaining the existing plan, existing cellphone number, etc. What is the proper way to do this, ideally through the portal/website? I’ve seen a number of different references to “purchasing a new SIM at a Cricket store and having them perform the activation”, but I don’t believe that should be necessary. Any advice from the community? If I have to do this in multiple steps, that’s fine too. I just want to make sure that the end result is what I want and that I don’t lose either the number or a lot of time traveling or on the phone--I live in a remote area at least an hour one-way away from any store.TIA!
emergency calls only
We have lines on our account. One of them started losing connection, saying emergency calls only. Restarting the phone would help sometimes. We bought a new SIM card. That did not help. Bought a new phone and put the SIM card in and it still occurs on that phone. It seems to be related to the one number. I have called customer support 5 times. Still nothing seems to be fixing the problem. The guy at the Cricket store said to cancel the line and get a new phone number. I don’t want to change my number. Can anyone help?
Current Status of Pixel Compatibility with Cricket
Can someone from Cricket please provide a clear indication of what the current status of Pixel phone compatibility is on the Cricket Network?I have reviewed the BYOD list and it indicates that recent Pixels are compatible with hotspot and wi-fi calling. However, my Pixel 5a (G1F8F) does not seem to be able to use hotspot functionality. Is it an error with the BYOD list or is the updated compatibility in the process of being rolled out? Thanks
LG Harmony - no internet
I have a LG Harmony phone(not sure which version) which has given me no problems until yesterday. I clicked on the Google icon and typed MSN.COM in the address bar and although the blue loading line appeared but was not pulsating or going any further than about 1/4”. I tried Google and typing in the search bar MSN and nothing came up. I have a game downloaded that works but I am not given the option to click to watch ads for extra pieces. I have cleaned , ran the antivirus and search settings for a resolution but have found none. I even removed the battery for 30 minutes and put it back in. No success. Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated
Moto G100 5G phone only showing 4G service
I recently purchased an unlocked Moto G100 5G phone directly from Motorola. I verified the phone’s IMIE number via the cricket website, which said it was compatible. But when I transferred the SIM from my old Moto Power G phone (approx 18 months old) into the Moto G100 5G phone, I am only connected to the 4G network. I reside in the Dallas, TX commuting area where 5G is available. Do I need to order another SIM card from cricket in order to get my new phone connected to the 5G network? the Moto G100 5G phone did download software from the cricket network and I did reboot it both times it downloaded software from cricket. But it still remains connected to the 4G network. What else do I need to do in order to connect to the 5G network

Google Pixel 6 Pro Hotspot Not Working
Just got the Pixel 6 Pro, took the sim from my Pixel 5 and put it into the new phone, everything seems fine. Except when I try to turn on the hotspot, it says I need to have a plan for it and says to contact AT&T customer service? In my phone settings, it does say Cricket for network so that's confusing. I do have a plan that includes hotspot. It worked totally fine on my Pixel 5. The lady at the cricket store didn't give a very clear or concise answer, my guess is that she either didn't know how to help or what we were needing or didn't want to deal with us as it was in the last hour of the day. Any help is appreciated.
Blizzard won't accept Cricket Wireless!
I need to enter my phone number on my Blizzard account for an added layer of protection. I have the usual contract, pay by the month and can receive texts and all that. However Blizzard tells me that there is a code on my phone put on by Cricket which will not allow my phone to be used on their site. What is this code they are talking about? And can it be taken off? This is my only phone and I really don't want to switch to another plan at the moment. On Blizzard's forum there are many people having the same problem as I am using their Cricket plan phones on their website. Perhaps Cricket can contact Blizzard and figure this out?
Blizzard doesn't accept Cricket Wireless??
I know someone asked this, but that post hasn’t been touched in months. Is there any fix to this problem? Blizzard support told me that there is a code on our phone numbers that makes their system reject our number. They are saying that the only way we can bypass this is if we get new numbers and they cannot do anything at all on their end. Has there been any updates to this problem?
model of phone
I have a few questions.. in my phone in the system information and phone information it says my phone my phone's model is a u314-aa and I'm not sure what that is I have not been able to look up any help for my phone because this is not even exist when I do it on a search through you guys and I got this from from a cricket provider so I'm really confused on that. Another thing is when I did a factory reset to try to fix my phone because every time a text message or anything would come in two of them would come in and now with just a factory reset and the download of my contacts your cricket customer service number comes up about 30 times on my contacts and AT&t has all their customer service information on the contacts list as well I'm just concerned that something is wrong with the system on my phone my my buttons aren't configured right when I push one thing it pushes another and I only have this phone 2 weeks and my phone is running slower after the factory reset I haven't even d
Moto one Hyper (not 5G model) SMS Failed
Long term user with multiple phones on Cricket. Upgraded one old LG phone/line to a BYOD Moto One Hyper (not 5g model) close to 2 year ago without any problems that wasn't resolved fast by perhaps a restart or closing an app then trying again. But recently having 75% of outgoing SMS / MMS reporting "Message Failed" may send after 3 or 4 attempts by clicking the Retry option. No patterns to suggest only to certain carriers or even on numbers being the issue as they can be resent eventually. Just been informed other contacts having similar problems being unable to message me as often being told Im not available or similar. WIFI 5Ghz also disconnected often from different router or ISP connections I've used for years, though may not be related. Lots of people with SMS issues that are similar and no definitive reason why or answer how it can be resolved. If the services are going to continue to be this unreliable then maybe it's time to move my business to a better (probably a little m
Cricket Dream 5g
I got the cricket 5g phone as an upgrade and it's been shutting down the and restarting since I got it home. The store won't do an exchange due to their employee breaking the SIM card tray when I was at the store on the phone they tried to give me 1st and counted that phone as an exchange. I am so upset over this so called upgrade especially after reading all the reviews on line. This phone should not even be on the shelves in the stores or considered as an upgrade. Its only obvious after seeing how many phones have had issues.
