BEWARE- BEWARE-BEWARE-I love Cricket- left once and came back. I pay for 7 (SEVEN) lines!! I am very frustrated right now, I have never turned anyone into the BBB but I am thinking on this.My phone broke, placed my SIMS in another phone. My phoneline was suspend for “not being 5G”. Okay, go to local store- “we are waiving upgrade fee”, okay. We leave the store. My son gets a call from same store stating that my account is eligible for a free phone upgrade, come back and pick out the phone, will only need to pay taxes.Myself and my son go to the store, my son (who had removed his SIMS card the day before) picks out and obtains his 5g phone.I pick out phones for the other 2 lines that need upgraded. They are not ringing up as free, so I choose the other one. They have to order them, okay. Still no phone service. They will call “ tomorrow or next day, we will call you when they come in”.Four days later, I call to check. Oh yeah, they are here, they came in yesterday, sorry nobody called
I just got the S21. While on a call, I tried to reply to a text using the microphone (voice input to text). I got a notification that says “can’t use voice input while on a call.” So it’s prohibited. By default, voice input is controlled by Samsung. I also switched to google for voice input to see if that worked. I don’t get an error message but Google says something to the effect of “I didn’t catch that,” so it doesn’t work either at the moment.Any workaround for this? Is this an android 11 issue? I could voice text while on a call on a galaxy note 4 (android 6). All these years later and the S21 is incapable of doing this? Frustrating.
Buy Moto G Stylus 5G for my daughter 7/28/21. It seemed like a really great phone. I recently bought myself one and was thinking of buying one for my husband. No problem until October 2022, when the phone suddenly had issues charging?Advice? Anyone with similar issues? Any fix? I am paying for the Cricket Warranty. Should I call about the Cricket Warranty? Should I call Motorola?
Hi folks,So I've been tearing my hair out the last few days trying to find a solution to this sudden issue. Ever since I installed a Cricket software update a few days ago, my phone absolutely will not connect to my wifi.I've tried the Forget Network method.I've power cycled the router and the phone.I've reset all network and bluetooth settings on the the phone.I've tried turning off the firewall on my router.I've tried removing the password from the wifi connection.I attempted to give my phone a dedicated IP using the MAC address.I even went so far as to do a factory reset on BOTH the router and the phone. Nothing has worked and I'm out of ideas. Anybody have something I haven't tried? If I hadn't jujst gotten this phone at the beginning of the year, I would consider getting a new one, but that's pretty much a last resort.Thanks in advance.
Can someone tell me the different apn settings for cricket I have one apn on my phone that it's never connected to the internet I found another cricket apn on Google and the connection was perfect fast and reliable but I restarted my network settings and I thought that the perfect apn was still gonna be there and it wasn't and I didn't even write it down.if someone can tell me different apns I may find the reliable one.i talked to customer service and he told me about the same apn that I have with my phone and he said that that's the only one for Nokia phone but like I already said I had a second apn that was amazing connection.please help I don't have any internet for the last 2 months I'm gonna change the company if I this goes on for a week more.Thanks in advance for the help!!!
First off, I am a network engineer and have been doing it for 16yrs... So as far as my home setup..it is solid.All my other devices including non-cricket phones and Android OS has no problems with WiFi in the house or anywhere else.My ZTE phone from Cricket as of about a week or so ago simply will not stay connected to ANY WiFi hotspot longer than 5 minutes. I do 90% of my work from home and got the message today that I have used 75% of my data.... I never even use 1 GB in a month...let alone 7GB. I noticed that my phone is constantly disconnecting from my WiFi and randomly reconnects when I leave the house and come back.... Connections never last more than 5 minutes before dropping...no matter the signal quality.The router still shows in the list but I have to reconnect to it constantly....and 5 mins later repeat... There are no issues with my home and office network and only this phone is doing this out of the 8 devices on my wireless home network.Is there a way to bypass the Cricket
Every other carrier already sells their version of the Moto G Power, which Motorola released in January of 2020, what is Cricket waiting for, the latest Motorola they sell is the moto 7 supra which came out 2 years ago?!?! Please Cricket can you add the Moto G power to your line up of phones you sell?!?!
Cricket claims to shut down its 3G network in February 2022. And for that Cricket has been suspending phone lines used in devices that Cricket deemed incompatible. Actually, not all those devices are incompatible with Cricket’s 4G LTE and HD Voice Calling. It is just they are not in Cricket;s short limited compatible list.If your line is suspended, like mine and many others’, then congratulations, you will need find a appropriate time to contact customer support and ask them to unsuspend it for you. Even more surprises, if you do not use the line in a compatible device they recognize, your line will get suspended again just in a few hours. And you will need to do this again. This never ends, until you get a new phone with Cricket.Switching the SIM card into a compatible phone does not solve the suspension issue. You will have to talk to customer support, no other way.But why the heck should Cricket be allowed to suspend costumer’s phone line? It is a violation of consumers’ rights. We
I have a Cricket Dream 5G that I had to purchase last November. I needed more memory so I installed a new Gigastone Micro SD Card 32GB. It is a UHS-U1 A1 Class 10, up to 90MB/s card - whatever that means. The SD Card was never used in any other device. I formatted the card in the phone and set it for only storage in the phone. I did not use the option to use the SD Card in both the phone and a computer.Within days, I started to get errors. The phone would randomly reboot. When the phone completed the reboot process, there would always be a message that the SD Card was missing or that the SD Card was corrupted.I reseated that card multiple times. I reformatted that card multiple times. The phone continued to randomly reboot.I took out that SD Card and put in a second SD Card. The second card was the same specifications as the first. It was also new and had never been used in any other device. Once again, I formatted the SD Card in the phone and set it for only storage in the phone.Once
We just bought the hotspot box yesterday and are trying to get it set up on the my cricket app so we can track usage and pay the bill. The problem is that when we have them send the passcode to set up the account the hotspot box does not receive the message. We have the box itself set up where i can check messages on the box and no messages whatsoever. We contacted support they hung up on us, we have been to two local cricket stores and they didn't know either. All we need is to receive the passcode from cricket to set up the account on their app. Any suggestions??
BBB------ IF CRICKET DOESN'T OFFER ME A CHECK TO REPLACE THE DEVICE THEY WILL SOON STOP CARRYING IM FILING WITH THE BBB PERIOD.... Im a loyal customer for yrs with 5 lines all have insurance!!!! i just put a claim for the 6 because of its awful freezing screens. voice asst comes on by itself , power the phone off and since day one it takes 10 to 15 min to come back on!!!! I saw the neg..reviews when it came out BUT BEING A LOYAL STYLO FAN ive had the 3, 4, 5 and NOW THE TOXIC 6.....im heartbroken !!! As i sit here and wait for the warranty dept to call me back they want to offer to replace it , when i have full knowledge FROM ASSURION that the amount of claims on this device will blow your mind!!!! So cricket stop offering a phone that within a few months will start malfunctioning , i get it to those that love it ...HEY THAT WAS ME MAN ...i saved to upgrade and now they want to give me another , this will be 3 now COME ON GET THE HINT !!! It is not fair to loyal customers to treat them
I recently became a Cricket customer and have no issues until lately. My boyfriend is also a Cricket customer and recently our text messages to each other have not been going through. I will text him and my text goes through on my end but he never receives it and vice versa. It has become so annoying that we have been messaging on another forum just so we make sure the other gets the message. What is going on? Or what can we do to get our texts to actually go through?!
About a week and a half ago, my Motorola e4 had a system update. After the update, my SIM Card did not work anymore. I went to and fro between my old transporter (Virgin Mobile), Motorola and Cricket Support. I wound up purchasing another SIM Card. Saturday I had the option to supplant my SIM however I'm actually getting the "invalid sim card error." I've been going to and fro between Virgin Mobile and Cricket attempting to sort out why my SIM isn't working. It works in another cricket telephone yet won't chip away at my telephone. Saturday, I had reached Virgin Mobile to place in a telephone open solicitation. Following 48 hours, I was all the while getting the invalid sim card message. I was advised to contact Cricket to reinvent my gadget after it was affirmed my gadget was opened from their organization. I reached Cricket today and they reprogramed my SIM card. I am as yet getting the invalid sim card error. I was advised by and by to contact my old transporter to get my telephone

Keep getting texts/interrupted calls that my phone doesn’t support 5G/4G LTE. It clearly does (as multiple other services have confirmed). Since Cricket’s whitelist is nothing more than a cash-grab attempt to force customers to buy phones they don’t need, will be switching services unless tech support actually starts acting like tech support and adding ALL phones that qualify to their whitelist rather than lying about a phone’s capabilities.
I have the LG Stylo 6 and am loving it! Was just wondering is it normal for the stylus pen to have a little play (not loose at all to by any means fall out) but to have a slight little wiggle while inserted into the phone cause if you tap the screen at the bottom right near the pen you can kinda hear it move due to a slight wiggle.
So upsetting, I just received a USED/Refurbished phone through Cricket Insurance/Asurion after breaking mine. I got HOODWINKED into spending $75.00 on a deductible on a USED phone!!!! The phone barely costs $200.00 new, so that was a shocker, but a whole other story I'm afraid. The phone came to me with Ads/Videos that continuously play and not only scare the living daylights out of me, but suck my battery, play in the middle of meetings, and embarrass me to NO end. I called Crickey who said I should send it in and that they will then send me another refurbished phone. Is this a joke, I cannot be without a phone for a week. Oh and I have an idea - How about you simply tell me how to remove the ads. I do not have the energy or time to drive to UPS and mail my phone out and wait for another one, that will most assuredly come with ads.
