So I don't know if this is happening to anyone else but I switched to cricket about 2 weeks ago . Since then my phone that I brought with me has been getting really hot and the battery is dieing way faster than normal. I used to be able to make it to at least 12:30 pm with 62%. Now I'm plugging in my phone every 25 minutes because it's dieing so fast... Help??

About a week and a half ago, my Motorola e4 had a system update. After the update, my SIM Card did not work anymore. I went to and fro between my old transporter (Virgin Mobile), Motorola and Cricket Support. I wound up purchasing another SIM Card. Saturday I had the option to supplant my SIM however I'm actually getting the "invalid sim card error." I've been going to and fro between Virgin Mobile and Cricket attempting to sort out why my SIM isn't working. It works in another cricket telephone yet won't chip away at my telephone. Saturday, I had reached Virgin Mobile to place in a telephone open solicitation. Following 48 hours, I was all the while getting the invalid sim card message. I was advised to contact Cricket to reinvent my gadget after it was affirmed my gadget was opened from their organization. I reached Cricket today and they reprogramed my SIM card. I am as yet getting the invalid sim card error. I was advised by and by to contact my old transporter to get my telephone
unihertz jelly pro not listed as compatible with 5G--will be changing service if cricket doesn't quit the cash grab
Keep getting texts/interrupted calls that my phone doesn’t support 5G/4G LTE. It clearly does (as multiple other services have confirmed). Since Cricket’s whitelist is nothing more than a cash-grab attempt to force customers to buy phones they don’t need, will be switching services unless tech support actually starts acting like tech support and adding ALL phones that qualify to their whitelist rather than lying about a phone’s capabilities.
I recently purchased an unlocked Moto G100 5G phone directly from Motorola. I verified the phone’s IMIE number via the cricket website, which said it was compatible. But when I transferred the SIM from my old Moto Power G phone (approx 18 months old) into the Moto G100 5G phone, I am only connected to the 4G network. I reside in the Dallas, TX commuting area where 5G is available. Do I need to order another SIM card from cricket in order to get my new phone connected to the 5G network? the Moto G100 5G phone did download software from the cricket network and I did reboot it both times it downloaded software from cricket. But it still remains connected to the 4G network. What else do I need to do in order to connect to the 5G network
Cricket claims to shut down its 3G network in February 2022. And for that Cricket has been suspending phone lines used in devices that Cricket deemed incompatible. Actually, not all those devices are incompatible with Cricket’s 4G LTE and HD Voice Calling. It is just they are not in Cricket;s short limited compatible list.If your line is suspended, like mine and many others’, then congratulations, you will need find a appropriate time to contact customer support and ask them to unsuspend it for you. Even more surprises, if you do not use the line in a compatible device they recognize, your line will get suspended again just in a few hours. And you will need to do this again. This never ends, until you get a new phone with Cricket.Switching the SIM card into a compatible phone does not solve the suspension issue. You will have to talk to customer support, no other way.But why the heck should Cricket be allowed to suspend costumer’s phone line? It is a violation of consumers’ rights. We
New Moto G Stylus 5g (2022) will not connect my mobile hotspot to brand new Vizio tv or laptop. Upgraded my phone from 3g and now it will not connect at all. My 3g phone connected flawlessly. I don't understand why this new upgraded phone will not. Made sure of the coverage area while in store. Have tried absolutely everything. System is up to date. It's not my devices. I do live in a rural area, I get 1-2 bars, I can get online, play online games etc etc, call, text altho reception is slow & I do get dropped calls at times, I've always been able to use hotspot on my tv to watch movies, videos & play games. Now my hotspot will not connect at all to my laptop, it keeps saying bad password even though it's correct. Connects for about 1 second to tv & then nothing. DHCP is enabled. Have changed AP bands, 2.4GHz, 5.0GHz which is preferred, tried with and without a password. I will be so happy & appreciative with ANY suggestions & ecstatic if my issue is resolved! 🤸Tha
Hi folks,So I've been tearing my hair out the last few days trying to find a solution to this sudden issue. Ever since I installed a Cricket software update a few days ago, my phone absolutely will not connect to my wifi.I've tried the Forget Network method.I've power cycled the router and the phone.I've reset all network and bluetooth settings on the the phone.I've tried turning off the firewall on my router.I've tried removing the password from the wifi connection.I attempted to give my phone a dedicated IP using the MAC address.I even went so far as to do a factory reset on BOTH the router and the phone. Nothing has worked and I'm out of ideas. Anybody have something I haven't tried? If I hadn't jujst gotten this phone at the beginning of the year, I would consider getting a new one, but that's pretty much a last resort. Thanks in advance.
I was looking on the Motorola site and they say that their Motorola Edge 30 Fusion 2022 and their edge plus 2023 are compatible with Cricket’s 5g network. I’m wondering if this is true. The only way to check it on the site is if I’ve already purchased the phone and enter it’s imei. This would be a huge waste of money if I purchased one and it doesn’t work. Can someone help me with this. I want to stay with android, but the selection of premium devices isn’t that expansive.
So I was using my Cricket Dream 5G cell phone, which has been working fine for almost a month (I just got this as a replacement for a dream I spilled water on), and while using it the screen froze and I couldn’t back out, go to home pae or even turn the screen off, so I shut the phone off by holding the power button for a few seconds. Now it won’t come back on. I’ve tried holding the power button for 30+ seconds and doing the same with the volume held down as well. It doesn’t even vibrate when it goes on the charger. It was at least at 37% when it died, was updated to date, wasn’t damaged at all and wasn’t even running hot. All I did was shut it down once and now it won’t come back on. Plz help because I really don’t want to file another claim.
First off, I am a network engineer and have been doing it for 16yrs... So as far as my home setup..it is solid. All my other devices including non-cricket phones and Android OS has no problems with WiFi in the house or anywhere else.My ZTE phone from Cricket as of about a week or so ago simply will not stay connected to ANY WiFi hotspot longer than 5 minutes. I do 90% of my work from home and got the message today that I have used 75% of my data.... I never even use 1 GB in a month...let alone 7GB. I noticed that my phone is constantly disconnecting from my WiFi and randomly reconnects when I leave the house and come back.... Connections never last more than 5 minutes before dropping...no matter the signal quality. The router still shows in the list but I have to reconnect to it constantly....and 5 mins later repeat... There are no issues with my home and office network and only this phone is doing this out of the 8 devices on my wireless home network. Is there a way to bypass the Cricket
Long story short. Had a rush need to upgrade to mobile hotspot for work. Have a Moto G 6, checked Cricket’s compatibility guide and saw I’d need something newer. Alright, I can stay Motorola as the G Power is on list and on the shelf at Target, yoink and boom. No hotspot.Various song and dances with Cricket support end with essentially “Get bent as you didn’t buy it from us.” Fine, whatever. Most I can chase down the rabbit is something about Cricket (well, their AT&T overlords) built out the mobile hotspot feature using dual APNs and they’ll be fookered if they can be bothered push out the proper firmware. So here’s the issue. If I’m on the hook, I may as well go big. Several Samsungs, to be frank, Cricket doesn’t sell. Hell, even the S20 FE in some other color than the blue is off the table, apparently, if I go through them. What actual models are compatible? Don’t point me at that list on names with an asterisk that it may/may not work; it screwed me over once already
When will the Moto G power 2022 receive android 12 the Moto website said Android 12 has been released for the g power 2022 and I've checked for updates and have auto update on but my phone is still on Android 11 and the Moto website said 12 rolled out to this model over a month ago
Upgraded 2 phones from OVATION to Moto g 5g only because the batteries swelled up and could possibly explode (The OVATION PHONES worked fine. NO PROBLEMS. The Motorola phones have been nothing but a problem since having them. CONNECTION PROBLEMS. CAN'T make calls and if it does go through after calling the number several times back to back it goes to Voicemail. Went to Cricket Store with phones for half the day. Trying to solve the problems and employees let me know they possibly got a BAD BATCH OF PHONES and it's happened before. Had them about a month now. Chatted with two different Cricket employees EMMA and Wayne B. They would ask you to go into your phone for details about your phone and when you were trying to do what they asked. They would ask if you were still there and within about 30 seconds or so they would end chat. Wayne told me they were working on a cell tower in my area and work should be done in 24 hours (that was 2 days ago) and if I still had problems to contact
I'm having signal issues with my phone now for the last 2 days. The phone will lose service randomly and I will only be able to make emergency calls and can send emails over wifi. I can't text or call and can't receive any return. I have tried power cycling phone, taking the sim card out and putting it back in and turning phone back on. Have even tried changing the access point with no luck. What else can I try to get service? My billing cycle doesn't end until the 19th so I know it's not that.
Every other carrier already sells their version of the Moto G Power, which Motorola released in January of 2020, what is Cricket waiting for, the latest Motorola they sell is the moto 7 supra which came out 2 years ago?!?! Please Cricket can you add the Moto G power to your line up of phones you sell?!?!
My Pixel 6 hotspot does not work. It is listed as compatible (5) on the latest list: https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/great-big-network/byod-compatibility.htmlCalled cricket and they said it wasn’t compatible per this list: https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/mobile-wifi/hotspot-eligible-phones.htmlCan anyone help?
I just got my new Ovation 2 and did everything right. Transferred my data from my Samsung A11 but not all photos came through and neither did my preferences. My personal (and paid for) wallpaper came through but when I tried to find a way to personalize my home screen, suddenly my wallpaper disappeared and I can’t find it. It seems something called Quickstep decided I needed to have a different wallpaper every day and it seems to have deleted it because I can’t find it anywhere. Its still on my old phone but I can’t find a way to specifically transfer it again. Then I find out Quickstep won’t let me tighten up the icons so I download Microsoft Launcher, which does what I want it to do. But now Quickstep won’t leave me alone and keeps wanting me to put it back in charge. I would like to get my wallpaper and those last photos into the new phone but I don’t know how to do it, nor how to get Quickstep out of my way.
Hello, I have read most of the VVM threads here, and have not seen one describe the issue I've noticed for the past 3 months. This is happening on 3 different devices. So I know it's not device related, 2 devices are on Oreo, and the third is on Nougat. I have uninstalled, cleared cache, cleared data, and still the same issue persist with the app. I'm not doing another FR, as I'm sure it is not the issue since it's happening on 3 devices. When I get a voicemail, I play the VM, it'll play for 4 secs exactly, then stop, I then have to hit the play button again for it to start and play fully. This happens on every VM using the app on all 3 devices. I have tried other 3rd party VM apps, many times I don't get the Vmail in time or days later. So I would really like to get this VVM app to work properly, or I'll simply go back to the old system in calling my number to check my messages. In this day and age you figured they be able to resolve these simple issue. Customer support
Just to get this out of the way. EVERY single staff member at Cricket and Asurion has been very nice, professional. Unfortunately, they all think they have solved the issue by the time we conclude our conversation. Which is not the case in my situation.CLAIM: My device is not eligible for a screen repair, so it has to be replaced for a $40 deductible even with $8 a month for the protection. So I need to replace my now nearly dysfunctional LG Fortune 3 because the screen is shattered due to a naked phone (I was in the process of putting on a complete device protector) accidental hit caused it to sail across the room, bounce end over end over end on a ceramic tiled floor.Filed many claims since May 6th: I’ve applied online, over the phone and in person for a claim. I have been using the LG Fortune 3 Android 10 (I’ll refer to it as F3A10) since July 22, 2020 when my roommate upgraded me (I’m a second line on his account) through Cricket from an LG Fortune Android 6.1 (I’ll refer to it as
