I have a Moto G6 that I had to upgrade in January because Cricket said it would not be compatible after February. No big deal because they gave me a free Moto Stylus. Today another phone I have that I use for work bit the dust. Needing another phone, I took the sim card out and put it in the Moto G6. Everything seems to work fine. The phone is lte and when making a voice call there is an hd beside the timer so I assume hd voice is working. Is there any reason I shouldn't keep using this phone?

@Good4u are you using it on Cricket?? If so, it must be compatible b/c I believe their 3G network is shut down completely at this point. And they would suspend your line if it wasn’t, so it sounds like you’re good to go.

Yes, using it on Cricket with sim card from other phone. Works fine. Maybe in other geographical areas might have a problem? It wouldn't matter as long as it works here.
