Upgraded 2 phones from OVATION to Moto g 5g only because the batteries swelled up and could possibly explode (The OVATION PHONES worked fine. NO PROBLEMS. The Motorola phones have been nothing but a problem since having them. CONNECTION PROBLEMS.  CAN'T make calls and  if it does go through after calling the number several times back to back it goes to Voicemail. Went to Cricket Store with phones for half the day. Trying to solve the problems and employees let me know they possibly got a BAD BATCH OF PHONES and it's happened before.  Had them about a month now. Chatted with two different Cricket employees  EMMA and Wayne B. They would ask you to go into your phone for details about your phone and when you were trying to do what they asked. They would ask if you were still there and within about 30 seconds or so  they would end chat. Wayne told me they were working on a cell tower in my area and work should be done in 24 hours (that was 2 days ago) and if I still had problems to contact Cricket. Well I'm still having problems with them and I just want to take them to the store and TRADE THEM FOR THE OVATION 3. It's a DOWNGRADE as far as features but they worked. The OVATION PHONES with the BATTERIES THAT WERE SWELLED UP STILL CALLED OUT and RECEIVED CALLS and STAYED CONNECTED UNTILL CRICKET SHUT THEM OFF for the UPGRADE !!!

Hi @Metalhead and welcome to the Community Forum. We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with your moto g 5G’s. Unfortunately, you cannot swap them out for a different device because you are outside of the 7-day return window. Most Cricket devices carry a 1-year Manufacturer's Warranty from the date of purchase. To make a warranty claim visit https://warranty.cricketwireless.com and follow the prompts on the site, or contact the Returns Center at 1-800-CRICKET (274-2538) for assistance. The support center will troubleshoot the device malfunction over the phone and provide instructions for the warranty return, if applicable.

I got a sick woman at home already that I could lose at anytime and she needs her phone.. I'm not planning on going 3 days to a week with both of us not having a phone. I bought insurance and all that is is a money pit. Cricket's outside insurance company works for Cricket not me. Cricket got their money and I'm out. I'm planning on dropping the insurance if I got a year warranty and if they can't fix the problem. I'll move on. I'm going to try to contact the number you gave and if that doesn't work I know what to do !!!! PS YOUR EMPLOYEES NEED TO LET CUSTOMERS KNOW THEY ONLY 7 DAYS TO EXCHANGE.. I BEEN WITH CRICKET SINCE 2019 and I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT.

For real, I'm currently on Moto G Stylus 5G, and it's the worst phone I've ever had. I'd cut my losses and pick up a couple of Galaxy A51 5Gs. Pretty cheap, contrarily the best phone I've ever owned.
