My line got locked after using a new phone

I got a motorola g30, and I used the sim from my old moto g8. It was working fine for few minutes until I got a message saying is incompatible.

I put the sim back to my moto g8 and it still doesn’t work. I checked my account and it says account suspended.

How does the motorola g30 does not work if it’s a 5G phone and has the same antennas as the g8?

And also, why does my service need to be suspended for this.

When moving your SIM card to a non-compatible device, it will cause the line to suspend. We can restore service to your line by updating the IMEI number on your account to a compatible device.
